Welcome to the Youda Legend: The Golden Bird of Paradise Walkthrough! After Amsterdam, you venture to a tropical paradise. It all seems peaceful, but again it will be nothing like you expect! Whether you use this document as a reference when things get difficult or as a road map to get you from beginning to end, we’re pretty sure you’ll find what you’re looking for here. This document contains a complete Youda Legend: The Golden Bird of Paradise game walkthrough featuring annotated screenshots from actual gameplay! We hope you find this information useful as you play your way through the game. Use the walkthrough menu below to quickly jump to whatever stage of the game you need help with. General Tips

The game does not have a timer, so you do not have to worry about any time constraints.
You cannot use the hints system when you are in a puzzle scene. Just read the instructions at the beginning of each level to know what you have to do.
Your cursor will spin around wildly if you click randomly in the scene.
Each time you play the game, you will be given new items to look for. However, the puzzles will mostly be the same each time, but some of the final solutions may vary.
There are several mini-games throughout the game. You can skip them once the skip meter is full.

Your Trunk

Youda Legend: The Golden Bird of Paradise

Your trunk is located in the lower left side of the scene. It stores all of your inventory items.
To access the trunk, simply click on the icon in the lower left side. Once the trunk opens, you can look at all the items that are stored in there.
To close the trunk, simply click on any part of it and you will be returned to the scene you were working on.
You can also access your inventory items by hovering your mouse over the word “inventory” at the bottom of the scene. Once the inventory tray pops up you can grab or combine items.
The items in your trunk will only be used during the puzzle scenes; you will never need to use them in any of the Hidden Object searches.

Hints

You have unlimited hints, but you must wait for it to recharge before you can use it again.
Click on the hint in the upper left when it is recharged, and it will form a circle around an item in the scene.
Since the circle is rather large, make sure that you click in the center of the circle to find the item you’re looking for.
If you want the hints to recharge faster, click on the gems that are scattered around the scene.
The gems also earn you extra points each time you find them.
There are plenty of gems throughout each scene. Look carefully around for them so you can increase your score in the game.

Walkthrough

The walkthrough will give you the solutions, and explanations, for all the puzzles in the game.
Please keep in mind that some of the puzzle solutions are random. We’ve included alternate solutions whenever possible.
If you get stuck on a puzzle and you want to reset it, exit out of the game and you will start at the beginning of that puzzle. This will help you if you want to use one of the solutions in the walkthrough.

Chapter 1

Small Airfield

The gems are circled in green.
The 5 map pieces are marked in blue.
The crowbar is in the lower right.
Place the crowbar on the sparkly crate in the center of the field.
Pick up the suitcase inside the crate.

Village Square

Pick up the coin in the upper center.
Pick up the other coin on the right edge of the scene.
Pick up the light bulb in the lower center, behind the fountain.
Click on the handle on the side of the fountain to activate the water.
The map pieces are highlighted in yellow.
Click on the bowler hat on top of the fountain.
Click on the bobber on top of the fountain to activate it. The water will start flowing and items will come up to the surface.
Pick up the brush that floats up from the fountain.
Pick up the paper boat that floats up from the fountain.

Open your inventory suitcase.
Drag the brush over both coins to clean them.
Click on the fortune teller sign after all the objects have been found.

Fortune Teller

The fortune teller is asking you to roll the dice and look into the crystal ball.
Make logical groups by clicking on them. To de-select a dice click on it a second time.
Each time you make correct choices the dice you selected will disappear. Keep making choices until all the dice are eliminated from the board.
If you click on the wrong set of dice, the dice will be reshuffled and you will have to start over.
Click on these groups of dice to win the game:Moon – Stars – Bat Cross – Skull – Crossbones Frog – Lizard – Snake Fire – Water – Rain – Flower 5 Types of Birds

Village Store

The gems are circled in green.
The map pieces are in white.
Grab the light bulb from inventory and place it on the lamp in the upper right.
Click on the conch shell that appears on the lamp once it is turned on.

Coins Mini-game

Your goal in this game is to place the coins in the right slots.
Open your inventory and scroll to the coins.
Use the brush to clean BOTH coins.
Each coin that gets cleaned gets automatically sent to the board.
Click on 2 coins and they will swap places. You can also click on a coin and an empty spot and the coin will move to the empty spot.
A coin that is placed in the right spot will glow.
You can use the spot on the left side to rest pieces if a spot is open.
Pay attention to the design in an empty spot. You want to place a matching coin over that spot.
Once all the coins are in matching spots you will win the game.
Please look at the screenshot for a RANDOM solution. A photo will go into your inventory once the puzzle has been completed.

Bungalow

Pick up the blackbird piece below the bed.
Pick up the key on the right, close to the foot of the bed.
Place the key on the locked drawer in the lower right.
Pick up the 2nd blackbird piece inside the drawer.
Pick up the fan blade in the upper center.
Place the fan blade on the ceiling fan.
Click on the light switch close to the door to turn the fan on. The fan blows part of the netting aside.
Click on the tape that appears over the netting in the upper right side.
Click on the faucet that appears below the right side of the netting.

Cylinder Mini-game

Your goal is to place the symbols in the right order.
Click on the tiles on the cylinder to rotate them.
You need to place the tiles according to the images on the coins on the photograph and the direction shown at the bottom of the picture.
Notice the pattern below the picture and place your images in the cylinder in the same fashion.
The pattern is different each time so you have to place your tiles according to your pattern.

A note appears inside the cylinder once it pops open. Click on the note.

Chapter 2

Harbor

The gems are circled in green.
The column is in the center of the scene.
Place the crowbar on the lower left side of the ship.
Pick up the puzzle piece that appears on the side of the boat.

Puzzle

Open your trunk.
Place the tape over the puzzle piece.
The puzzle piece will be automatically added to your board after it has been glued.
Click on the pieces to rotate them.
Pieces lock into place when they are in the right spots.

Outside Temple

The gems are circled in green.
The 10 flowers have a yellow arrow pointing to them.
Pick up the stone pick in the lower right corner.
Place the stone pick on the sparkly spots on the rocks.
Pick up the screwdriver and the blackbird piece inside the rocks.
Pick up the Hammer in the upper right.

Stone Path Puzzle

Your goal is to click on the stones in the right order so you can open the temple door.
Click on a stone and if it’s the correct one it will turn gold and stay down.
Remember the sequence you followed in case the puzzle resets itself.
As soon as you hit an incorrect sequence the puzzle will reset itself. You will have to start over but the sequence will be the same.

Tunnel

The gems are circled in green.
The 8 blackbird pieces are in purple, they come in all shapes and sizes.
Pick up the key on the right side of the wall.
Place the key on the lock on the right edge of the scene.
Pick up the blackbird piece that appears in place of the lock.

Glass Bird Puzzle

The game is telling you that you are missing 2 blackbird pieces but you only have 1 piece in inventory.
Place the hammer on the blackbird piece in inventory to break it. The piece will go on the playing field.
Your goal is to reconstruct the bird using the pieces on the field.
When a piece is in the right spot it will lock itself in.
Rotate the piece to make it fit by clicking on the arrows.

Mirrored World

The gem pieces are circled in green.
Pick up the cleaver in the lower right.
Place the cleaver on the coconut in the upper right. The coconut falls to the ground.
Pick up the broken coconut that falls in the lower right corner.

Machete Mini-game

Your goal is to trace the lines on the scene with your mouse. If you do so successfully the machete will cut through the foliage.
You will have to trace several shapes to win the game. You will see an orange tone appear in areas that have been traced successfully.
Some of the lines can be tricky to trace. In the ones in which you have to trace separate lines, make sure that you stop at the end of each line to register the trace.

Waterfall

The gem pieces are circled in green.
Pick up the water bottle in the middle of the lake.
The scissors are on the left edge of the scene.
Pick up the puzzle piece in the water.
Pick up the other puzzle piece in the lower left.

Circles Puzzle

Place the circles in the center of the board.
You have to rotate the circles to the correct angle.
The large circle goes in first.
Place the middle circle next.
Place the small circle last.
The small circle in the middle rotates itself and the large circle.
The middle circle rotates itself and the small circle.
The large circle rotates all the circles.
To align the images correctly the colored lines must align with the same colors on the puzzle.

Chapter 3

Airport

Pick up the key in the lower center.
Click on the red toolbox on the lower left to open it.
Pick up the wrench inside the toolbox.
The gem pieces are circled in green.
Place the screwdriver on the plane’s hatch to open it.
Place the wrench in the engine.
Pick up the broken mirror inside the engine.

Airplane Instrument Puzzle

Your goal is to click on the instruments in the same sequence as they light up.
Each light will blink 4 times before it moves to the next light.
You only have to click on the lights ONCE to follow the pattern, NOT 4 times as it is shown in the sequence.

Airstrip

The gems are circled in green.
The first feather stone is on the plane’s tail.
The second feather stone is in the lower right, below the plane’s propeller.
Place the hammer on the bottle in the lower right.
Pick up the piece of glass from the bottle.

Potions Mini-game

Your goal is to make the right mixture of potions.
Arrange the pipes so only the right colors fall into the bowl.
Look at the colors on the front side of the bowl to know which colors to use.
Slide the pipes so you can position them correctly.

The Hut

The first screenshots shows you the locations of all the gems, they are circled in green. It also shows you the locations of the inventory items for this scene.
The second screenshot shows you the locations of the 12 feathers and 4 animal skulls.
Pick up the bottle opener in the center of the scene.
The first feather stone is in the upper right corner.
The second feather stone is in the lower right.
From the inventory screen combine the bottle opener with the water bottle. You have to place the bottle opener over the water bottle to open it.
Place the OPENED water bottle on the fire.
Pick up the feather stone from the extinguished fire.

Courtyard

The gems are circled in green.
Pick up the filling knife in the lower right.
Place the filling knife on the sparkly moss on the left edge of the scene.
Click on the strange symbol below the moss.

Totem Puzzle

Your goal is correctly trace the shapes of the animal related to the images that appear in the sky.
Look at the images in the sky. Then choose the animal you think those items represent.
Trace the purple line that surrounds the animal you’ve selected.
If you traced the right animal, the totems will spin around and a copper plate will cover the correct totem. If it’s incorrect you will have to choose again.
You have to identify and trace 5 animals to win the game. The solutions vary with each game. Please look at the next set of screenshots for some of the solutions.

Final Piece

Pick up the stone tablet with golden inscriptions in the top right after 5 totems have been changed over.

Chapter 4

The Beach

The gems are circled in green.
Pick up the slingshot in the upper part of the boat in the water.
Pick up the shovel in the lower right.
Pick up the wrench in the lower left corner.
Pick up the broom on the boat in the water.
Place the shovel on the “X” spot on the lower right part of the sand and a chest appears.
Place the key in the chest to open it.
Pick up the strange object inside the chest.

Build a Raft Mini-game

Your goal is to build a raft using the items on the beach.
Place the 3 blue barrels next to the blue barrel in the lower center. Please look at the screenshot for their exact location.
Start placing the logs on top of the barrels. The logs are marked in yellow in the first screenshot.

There are several ropes that you need to use. One is in inventory, two of them are on top of your screen, one is on the mountain and the other one is on the beach. Please look at the screenshot for their exact locations.
On top of the logs you want to place the 2 ropes from above, the one from inventory and the one on the mountain.

Place the door on top of the logs.
Place the rope on the sand on top of the door.
Put the wrench on the left side of the raft.
Place the broom on top of the wrench.
Place the slingshot on the right side of the raft.
Put the stick with the seashell on top of the slingshot.

Towering Cliffs

The gems are circled in green.
Pick up the weight in the upper left corner
The Saw is in the lower right.
Pick up the glue in the lower right.

Tablet Mini-game

Your goal is to use the sliding blocks so the right symbols are in the slot on the side of the puzzle.
Use the tablet at the bottom of the scene as your guide.

High Cliffs

The first screenshot shows you the locations of the all gems, they are circled in red.
The second screenshot shows the locations of the 25 beetles.
Pick up the rectangle on the right.
Pick up the chisel in the lower right.
Place the strange symbol on the sparkly spot on the left.
Pick up the feather stone inside the niche that opens up.
From inventory, place the brush over the dirty Featherstone.
There is a feather stone in the lower right that is not on the list, pick it up to end the level.

Feather Stone Puzzle

Your goal is to place the feather stones in the right spots.
Use the brush to clean any dirty feather stones you may have. There shouldn’t be more than 2 of them.
You have to grab the feather stones from inventory and place them on the board in the right spots.
Once you place the stones in place you have to rotate them by clicking on them.
It is best to grab a few pieces to begin with so you can have space to move the pieces around.
Your goal is to place them in the right pattern. All touching fathers must be of the same color.
Use the image on the empty slot on the right and in the middle as your guide to get started with this puzzle.

Chapter 5

Modern Camp

The gems are circled in green.
The 3 weights are highlighted in red.
For the weight in blue on the list, place the scissors on the rope in the top left.
A weight will descend from the sky.
Click on the weight that appears on the screen.
Pick up the piece of glass in the lower right corner.
The diamond is in the lower center.
The second screenshots shows the locations of all the butterflies.

The Camp

The gems are circled in green.
The matches are in the lower center.
Pick up the beam in the lower left corner.
The bolt cutters are in the lower right corner.
Place the bolt cutters on the locked chest in the lower left to open it.
Pick up the diamond with stairs inside the chest.

Beaming Temple Mini-game

Your goal is to use the glass and mirrors to light up all the temples in the scene.
Open your trunk.
Combine the broken glass and the column.
Place the glue on the broken mirror.
Place the fixed mirror on the board.

Place the pieces according to the image on the screenshot.

Once all the mirrors are in place, click on them to reposition them just like the image on the screenshot shows you.
