fromAfter downloading this game for the first time it asked if I wanted to continue or start a new game, then it told me I'd lose my progress. What progress? I just started the game?!?

Yesterday these guys unleashed the awesome Zombie Solitaire game and today they have released the first ever (that I'm aware of) Collector's Edition Solitaire game! Not only is it a great Solitaire game with lots of variations, but the Collector's Edition is actually CE worthy because it gives you 120 extra Bonus levels. All in all Jewel Match Solitaire offers a whopping 320 Solitaire levels!

This is a Higher/Lower Solitaire game, but as you progress, you will unlock awesome solitaire games that can be played anytime, such as Klondike, Spider, Freecell, and Pyramid. There are 24 Trophies to earn, and 5 Castles to build in the main game, even more in the Bonus Section, with the Emeralds you earn. You can choose to play in a Relaxed or Normal mode, the Hard mode is timed for a little more of a challenge.

Some cards contain coins that can be used in the Shop to purchase Power-ups, Wildcards that are number specific, Jokers, Undos, Shuffles etc. Some cards are blocked, requiring you to find tool cards to unlock them, such as Keys for Lock cards, Sickles for Vine cards, Scissor for Ribbon cards, and my favorites, Wax Seals requiring color specific cards to be played consecutively, and suit specific cards, or Frozen cards that require 2 plays to remove them.

This Collector's Edition has 24 Trophies to earn, 10 Music Soundtracks, the Making Of, Bonus Trophies, Wallpapers, 4 extra Deck card styles, Bonus Levels, 3 Extra Castles to build, 120 Extra Bonus Levels, 6 Extra Bonus Solitaire types, Shop Extra Power-ups, and a built in Strategy Guide (huh??)

With all the extra levels the CE gives you, I say this is well worthy and certainly qualifies as a CE version. If you pick this game up during a CE sale, what could be better, enjoy! Show less

Don't worry, you only play 4 or 5 hands before upgrading, it goes quickly.

The game is beautiful, the cards lovely, crisp graphics and large enough to really see. The music is nice enough to leave on. The game play moves along a quickly or slowly as you want. You can choose between normal, relaxed, or hard modes. So, you can follow the traditional rules, or only go through the deck once if you really want it hard!

You gain coins for power-ups, such as jokers, undo cards, and shuffles. Collect gems to rebuild castles. Stars unlock the other variations, accessible from the "bonus games" area. You get trophies, the achievements for the game. I'm a Swift Fox for using 5 cards in 5 seconds! You can turn the tutorial on or off, which is helpful when playing an unfamiliar solitaire version.

In the one-up-one-down variation the hands have the usual impediments necessitating the removal ice, vines, etc.

In short, I'm happy today's a weekend for me! Show less

I wasn't going to get this game since I have so many solitaire games but when it went on the one day sale yesterday I bought it and I am very impressed! I'm a big solitaire fan and really enjoy the daily Microsoft solitaire challenges, but this game takes it to the next level! With so many different games to unlock, and the added bonus of building the castles in the varied settings, this will keep me entertained for many a relaxing evening in the coming winter months. You can feel that the creators of this game like to play cardgames as well. I like everything about this game: smooth gameplay, beautiful backgrounds, different skill levels, bonusgames to put some variation in etc. Just like in the Jewel Match match3 games, the standard is high! For me it is worth the extra money to buy the CE. Keep 'em coming developers!

Out of all the Solitaire Games I have Bought this is the BEST
when it Comes to Games the Folks who Make the
Jewel Match Games are One of the Best,
Visual is Awesome, sorry can not help much on Sound Quality

The Jewel Match games are always a hit with me. And I love solitaire. Add in the great, beautiful castles and this game is a win. Fortunately, it is a very long game since the price was pretty spendy. $13.99 is more than I would usually agree to spend for a game but it is a collectors edition so I decided to go for it.

I recommend this game!

This game is so good! It already has a ton of content and now the collector's edition adds more than 100 new levels. It's really addicting trying to get a perfect score on each level, I can just zone out for hours. Music is great. Graphics are great. Can't recommend it enough.
