Cute and whimsical,shooting colorful groups of orbs to free the pretty little fairies. to gain points. Fun and strategic!

I like play a lot of strategy games, and this one has me playing a lot. But Fairy Jewel II ain't nothing like the first one is, I think the first one is far better then the second one, and I own both of them.

I became discouraged early on... and even quit playing, but when I went back to it, I understand that this is the Ultimate Paint Ball Game, and just ride along with the punches... I saw a question somewhere about how to eliminate the steel balls as you get into higher levels, and if you continue to play beyond your comfort zone (people are telling me to go beyond my comfort zone in other areas of ...Show more

I became discouraged early on... and even quit playing, but when I went back to it, I understand that this is the Ultimate Paint Ball Game, and just ride along with the punches... I saw a question somewhere about how to eliminate the steel balls as you get into higher levels, and if you continue to play beyond your comfort zone (people are telling me to go beyond my comfort zone in other areas of my life...), you will begin to see those steel balls disappear.... You have to keep playing... I also saw a question about how to tell what level you are on... The answer is at the end of each level it tells you which level you are on... My best advice if you're having trouble is keep trying ... Even a little at a time helps... However, now that I'm seeing things happen... it's really fun! Show less

I read the reviews, so I wasn't sure about trying it - but did & I really enjoyed the challenges, colours, music, etc & the Fairies were delightful.
No trouble finding my scores or levels & barely worried about the rules, @ least in the Demo which was so soon finished - couldn't believe the time had flown so fast, I was just getting in the flow!! :) I did have to remember though, that the aim is ...Show more

There is some strategy, if you need it, otherwise just play casually & enjoy it as a popper.
There are satisfying bombs, bubbles etc to get & coins of course - although not sure what they are for - yet.
If you like popping, mystical,games with a little thought involved (for more serious Fishies) then give it a go.
I am off to buy & continue on = rather addictive. Show less

Humans and fairies and such lived in peace and harmony. But, there was a black castle where an evil lord lived. One day, he captured all the little fairies. Now, you, as the friendly human, must try to free them from the bubbles they're captured in.

To play this game, you shoot a colored bubble into a group of the same color to destroy them. Then, shoot at the bubble the fairy is in - POP - she's free. That's the first level, it gets a little harder (I really didn't find it so) and different each level after that.

There are bubbles that if you hit them, they will ALL turn into that color. There are bombs you shoot to catch and blow groups of bubbles or other obstructions with. You'll see when you get into the game play just what to do each level. Also, because before each level, it's explained to you.

You get 3 lives. There are 2 modes of difficulty. It's supposed to be timed but I never had any trouble getting past the obstructions to free the fairies either with time running out or losing any lives and I played quite a number of levels before the demo ended.

This is an enjoyable game of matching groups, shooting bubbles and strategizing the best way to POP those bubbles the fairies are in.

I got bored so this isn't a purchase for me. But, I do hope this encourages you to try it. It's relatively fun.

You CAN make it all the way through - it just may not seem that way the first time around! This game is definitely not what I was expecting. In most bubble shooter games that I have played, if you make a match above a group of bubbles, the whole group drops. Not in this game. Instead, you have to pop every single group.
