I bought the first Nature Escapes and really enjoyed it so did not hesitate to buy this one. Was not disappointed! This one is just as good if not better. I buy games like this that are not the dark dreary ones without even trying them first and have had 3 of them this week. It is so nice to have games that I enjoy. Keep'em coming Big Fish!
I recommend this game!

Nature's beauty seems to be limitless and Tiny Little Lion captures it nicely in a variety of ways in a fun HO game. The superb graphics make the locations stand out in color and detail, no matter what the scene involves. You'll appreciate the many excellent features and the A+ magnifier which along with the great zoom option makes searching so much easier for those super difficult items. The HO styles, morphs, collectibles, games, build a garden, plant trivia - all fun, all quality.
The CE is my choice for the extra locations although I feel that 6 aren't enough, still it makes the CE a good value when combined with the other extras, I own the first edition and don't really need this one but it's hard for me to pass up a super quality HO game that is also so beautiful. I just made a comment a couple of days ago, on my review of the Amazing Vacation game, that developers needed to ditch the cliche objects they repeatedly use that have nothing to do with the game's theme. I just made a comment a couple of days ago, on my review of the Amazing Vacation game, that developers needed to ditch the cliche objects they repeatedly use that have nothing to do with the game's theme. Nature Escapes is a perfect example of how to do a HOG justice! Although they still use a few random, non-related objects, those objects are rustic variations that fit in perfectly...it's incredible what can be accomplished when a developer goes the extra mile and uses their creative imagination!
The graphics are not only beautiful but crystal clear even when you zoom or use the Magnifying Glass features! This is the only HO game I know of that mastered the art of Zoom. You can scroll to enlarge the scene or use the Magnifying Glass to search small areas, and the best part is that a simple right-click prompts the magnifier, which doesn't disappear once you find an object like most games...and all you have to do is right-click a second time to flick it away instantly. You can also zoom the entire scene & use the magnifier even within the Zoom Zones, a feature many devs tend to overlook. In reality, most HO fans are aging, and in my opinion, this is o must-have feature!
There are no Timers or Misclick penalties, but you will earn more points for making fast consecutive finds (Combo x1, x2, x3, x4, etc.), and you'll earn more points if you don't use the Hint feature. Even though you aren't racing against the clock, you will earn a Gold, Silver, or Bronze Star depending on how many points you earn, so making combos is vital.
Each scene has a Hidden Photo that converts to Coins that allows you to purchase 20 Plants & Flowers in the My Garden Section. You can even choose where to place the plants or select multiple's of the same plant! You can click the Camera icon to take a picture of your arrangement and set them as wallpaper. I wish you could place the plants in any arrangement versus placing them on preset snap points, such as grouping a set of plants together.
Each scene also has 3 Shapeshifting, Morphing Objects that are incredibly well blended. They morph at a perfect pace and can be quite challenging to spot! (morphs can appear in Zoom Zones too) Each Morph found converts to a flower you can plant in the wild in the Nature Album.
The Mini-games are nature-related as well. I love the Spot The Difference games, but I really loved the puzzle where you had to swap Circles & Squares and then rotate them. The first one was a forest image with a stream, and it was more challenging than I expected!
I'm still going to keep urging this developer to include a Strategy Guide showing the location of the Morphing Objects. I love the challenge but some of them are difficult to find and it would be wonderful to be able to check the SG when a morph proves to be too challenging. Technically, they could add a Hint button for the morphs, but I'd prefer to have to look at the SG.
COLLECTOR'S EDITION EXTRAS:
18 Scene Locations, +6 Bonus Locations, 12 Bonus Mini-games, 24 Wallpapers, 10 Dev Plants, Bonus Plants, 11 Music Soundtracks, 72 Shapeshifting Morphs, (54 in the Main Locations + 18 in the CE bonus locations), 24 Hidden Photos (18 in the main locations +6 in the CE bonus levels) 20 Flowers & Plants to purchase & place (multiples of plants can be selected), 24 Flower Fun Facts.

I love these Little Lion games, and this is just as enjoyable as the previous ones. I have not been successful finding all the morphing objects, which is frustrating - but that also makes it more of a challenge. Sorry, Tiny Little Lion, but this one is a complete dud in my estimation.
While nice to look at for a couple of scenes, can you really think that viewing the plant kingdom is really interesting for more than about 2 minutes?

Sorry, Tiny Little Lion, but this one is a complete dud in my estimation.
While nice to look at for a couple of scenes, can you really think that viewing the plant kingdom is really interesting for more than about 2 minutes?
The Faircroft games at least had a very slim story, and the I Love Finding (whatever animal) had some very cute/interesting animals ---- but this? Plants? really? Who cares? I found the whole thing, along with its predecessor to be a square-eyed bore capable only of inspiring a nap in preparation of playing a real game.
The other objection I have is the concept of a simple HOG like this one being labeled a CE. All that's happened is that the developers created the levels, then decided on a cut-off point where the SE will be released ---- that's a cheap, tawdry stunt that should never be, but many developers do the same.
Double money for a simplistically designed HOG as an astonishing money grab.
So, I hope this developer soon abandons this HOG rework, and soon gets back to the creation of the magnificent, and outstandingly creative games they were so good at in the past. (Just look at the list in the "other games" tab when you try this game out for free as BF provides)
The game is ready for you to have a free look and I urge everyone to do so ---- it just might be what you want, it's just at the bottom of the stack for me. Show less
I don't recommend this game.
