Roogoo is a game that you can play with the keyboard and/or your mouse. I used a combination of both for specific purposes... more later.

You can speed up the free-fall of a block towards the disc by pressing the down arrow (or your scroll wheel upwards); at some point, the blocks will be multi-layered, so you might need to swap the colours in the block either by scroll wheeling downwards, or by pressing the up arrow key. You'll also have to defeat enemies by having a block fall on them.

I didn't like the 3D graphics very much: they could have been a lot sharper. I also found the controls to be somewhat difficult (how many fingers do you use on your mouse?), compounded by the stress that each level is timed.

Try it for yourself, at least until level 3 or 4 to get a sense of gameplay (note that each level has multiple "waves", so that'll take 20-30 minutes). I wasn't captivated enough in the "rescue their planet" story and cartoons either.

PS: I use Windows 10 and had no issue during the trial. Show less
