Like the other reviewer, I have now replayed this game several times over and I still enjoy it just as much as the first time around. I still haven't actually managed to complete all the levels in gold yet so that is a sign of how challenging it is.
The game play is simple, as is the graphics but they suit the game so well. I absolute love this game and I wish there were more like it!
I recommend this game!

It was different, fun and challenging. I would replay levels over and over till I get the gold flag.
If you like building, collecting and time management then give this one a shot and you might be pleasantly surprised! I wish there were a second one!

Many levels of challenge involving strategizing the best possible way to complete in time. Nice. Have replayed this several times over and am still enjoying it.

I found this game very confusing - very little instruction on what to do. Finally figured out that you were supposed to build idols to "stop" the raiders. But, even when I upgraded the idols, it took them very little time to destroy them.
Sorry, this game was not for me - I couldn't even make it through the trial.
Much better games out there.
My vote - don't waste your time.
I don't recommend this game.

So I thought, ok. It must be intuitive. I'll figure it out, I'm a big girl. I tried fooling around & aimlessly clicking on places throughout the game screen and occasionally some sort of action would take place. But that was totally not logical nor was anything explained, except for one time after clicking something.
I went & replayed the first 3 levels a few times hoping to give this game a chance. I am an experienced gamer. And by "game", I dont mean staring at a screen looking for hiding images. I can tell you that Island Realms will stand out for awhile as being the game with the least instructions & least reason to be played.
Give me some incentive! Attract me with something! Make me WANT to play. Dont turn me off within the first 3 minutes.
All that said, I did stick with the game for awhile & kept trying but ...no. Bad. Bad game! Sit. Stay! Roll over. Show less

This little TM game looked promising so I took a whirl at it. It gives absolutely no tutorial. I had no idea what I was supposed to be doing or what the objective was except I was supposed to get to the next island. Major epic fail.
I don't recommend this game.
