I play HOG's for a me time game. I have PTSD and sometimes too much in the storyline is more than I can do. I love the Ravenhearst series etc, but sometimes I just want to hunt objects. THIS is that game. Puzzles are interesting and the one hour trial went by fast. I love it! (The character is, I'm sorry to say, is dumb as a stump) It's funny.
I recommend this game!

This was a good enjoyable game - just a little bit different from most other hidden object games. Amelie wins a free ticket on the maiden voyage on the luxurious Seawind but as she settles in for a week of relaxation all the other passengers and crew disappear and she has to discover why before it is too late. The dialigue is all written - no voice overs - and is just enough to be instructional as to what is happening and what to do next. The graphics are very good and clear and colourful while the ship is in 'present' mode but gets markedly darker as the 'derelict' mode takes over. The puzzles are quite simple really but the using of the light globes to discover rooms and cabins on a plan of the ships decks was quite different and somewhat challenging but enjoyable none the less. The hidden objects were pretty straightforward and didn't present much of a drama and together with the 'soul' gizmo device which allowed you to see other objects which were invisible without it, was a different and intriguing diversion to the game. Very enjoyable and money well spent. Show less
I recommend this game!

A plain HOG with very little to do as regards the adventure side but with many minigames, that can serve as a filler for HOG fans and anyone looking for something relaxing.
The photo visuals are quite pleasant at the beginning, but as soon as the ship turns into decay, all the scenes become darkish, blurry and confused.
Most hidden objects are easy to spot except a few that are either tiny or nearly invisible like the pieces of wire you need to reconnect a control panel.
Tasks are dead simple and so are the puzzles which are all old classics but can be skipped. One interesting novelty though with the use of bulbs to light up the corridors on the ship map in order to progress to the next scene.
The HO Scenes constitute 80 % of the whole game, the hint system only helps with hidden objects but doesn't tell you what to do next.
The game is totally linear and doesn't allow you to roam freely around the ship. One scene replaces the previous one once it has been conpleted.
It is impossible to tell on the basis of the demo and the absence of walkthrough whether the game is long or short and whether the story becomes more interesting as the game progresses.
The best is to play the trial version and take it from there.

The game sounded fun and i was excited to play but
the lightbulbs that you have to use on the deck ruined it!
I had so much trouble that i finally just gave up. I have no idea how the makers of this game thought that was a good idea.
I don't recommend this game.
