A nice Time Management game where you start with a bare minimum and buy more equipment with the stars you earn until you have a 5 star boutique. there are two options with this game, Story mode (timed) and Endless mode (one level after another) Your customers come in with an icon as to what they want such as shampoo, so you click and drag that customer to the washing station and click again to have Stella wash their hair. As you progress, you will hire an employee to wash hair. Then you click and drag that customer to the hair styling booth and click again for Stella to cut and style their hair. Next step is the wardrobe closet where you will see a picture of what the customer is currently wearing and a picture of what outfit she wants, so you click on all the correct items she wants. The final step is the cash register that you click on so that Stella can collect the money. Then with the stars you earn you get to buy an upgrade such as a spa and designer shoe booth etc, When a customer wants shoes you click and drag them to the shoe station and click on the two matching shoes. Each level gives you more customers as well as more tasks to follow and more equipment, so this is kind of a stressful game, so make some coffee and make people beautiful, enjoy! Show less

After reading a lot of the reviews, I didn't think I would like it and almost didn't purchase it, but after purchasing & playing it really is fun and challenging.

Some people posted latency in the cursor/clicks; i experienced that as well and found out turning off the custom cursor in the options menu did the trick.

And yes, painfully slow Stella goes faster as you upgrade her, you can also ...Show more

After reading a lot of the reviews, I didn't think I would like it and almost didn't purchase it, but after purchasing & playing it really is fun and challenging.

Some people posted latency in the cursor/clicks; i experienced that as well and found out turning off the custom cursor in the options menu did the trick.

And yes, painfully slow Stella goes faster as you upgrade her, you can also upgrade all her co-workers, Mae, Lily, and Grace. Also for those upset with the speed of the first few levels (zones) try planning your actions in advance, you know that the customer will want to go to the dressing room, send Stella there before (or while) you drag your customer.

Another thing I like about this game (more than Sally's Salon) is you can queue up a set of tasks (for Stella et. al) and while your choosing shoes they will continue with their tasks in the background.

The incense seems to be a big deal as to whether you get 3 stars or less. Use it when you're toward the end of the level or, when you have a large number of people ready to check out if you're short.

I'm really not sure why the person gave this game 1 star after completing all the levels at 3 stars and still not having all the upgrades. My usual complaint is the opposite! I have all the upgrades and want more!

I'm not all the way thru the game but it's a blast, and the storyline is entertaining! Show less

Truly wonderful game! There are unique twists, like incense you can use once per level to give all customers a mood boost. Also, if two customers want each other's stations, you can drop one on the other and they'll switch. I am a time manager and this is one I play over and over. I bought this game on another site about three months ago, and I am still playing. If you like games like Sally's Hair Salon or similar games, then you should love this game, Challenging! Enjoy fellow gamers!

At first I thought it was too hard... but after I started over a few times I found that it is possible to make it. Personally I think it's for time management die hards though... It's tough! You'll like it if you enjoy a very good challenge. Take breaks if you get frustrated or over tired. I just love this game .. BUT... I wish it was a bit (ok.. a lot) easier)

not so difficult to reach goal 3 stars, each time you make an upgrade go back to the level where you have 2 0 1 star and you can reach goal most easily. good game

This game was a little more challenging than it first appeared when I started it. I finished the entire game and I can't wait to play it again. I love styling, salon and spa games! I loved, loved, this game! This is EXACTLY how it is in a beauty shop!! If your child wants to work in a beauty salon when he / she grows up have him/her play this game to know how it REALLY is!!! TWO thumbs up for reality !!!

Yes, Stella moves slow at first but you can upgrade her.
Yes, it takes a long time to purchase some upgrades but that's what makes this game a bit more challenging. And here's a tip for you -- there's no way you'll ever purchase all the upgrades so don't worry about it.

The music is fun and there's a cute story line that actually makes sense. I've played this game twice now, all the way to the end, and I did much better the second time around by choosing different upgrades.

Give Style Quest a shot, and don't take it so seriously -- it's just a game :o) Show less

I almost didn't get this game due to all of the negative reviews, but I'm so glad that I did. I really enjoyed this game. Yes, the characters move slow, but that's part of the game and you have to plan accordingly.

It's difficult to earn 3 stars on every level, and you need those stars to upgrade your people and equipment. The good news is that once you upgrade you can go back and replay ...Show more
