I don't usually play match 3 games, so I can't compare it to others, but this one is an old favourite of mine. The visual style is utterly unique and excellent (but this is highly subjective). I thought the cakes and the ingredients looked whimsical and delicious. Sure, the game is heavy on cheesy French stereotypes, but it's got a nice sense of humour about it. I thought the cakes and the ingredients looked whimsical and delicious. Sure, the game is heavy on cheesy French stereotypes, but it's got a nice sense of humour about it. I found the difficulty just right, and the upgrades make a big difference and can help you out a lot. All in all, it looks like the developers put their heart into this little game and to me it's the perfect rainy-day, warm-and-fuzzy game equivalent to comfort food.

Also, as someone mentioned before, it did first come out a very long time ago, though it doesn't look outdated. Show less

I enjoyed this game very much...its a good game to play at the end of long day...helps one to unwind. The pastries and cakes looked good enough to eat...absolutely mouth-watering!!!! The levels were fairly easy to clear...and the music was pretty cool too!!

I recommend this game!

Another great matching game to play and I find it easier to do time management by matching things up rather than serving customers

Pastry Passion is an interesting and colorful match three game. Play by collecting ingredients to make a variety of tempting pastries for Henri the baker. Game play provided an increase in challenge as levels progressed. Story line fits with the theme of the game. Henri's dialog was a bit over the top at times (especially if you failed a level). Overall an enjoyable game to play.

I played this game years ago, and when our old computer died, tried to find it again, but couldn't. Over the past few years I have regularly typed "Pastry Passion" into the search window in BigFish, but never had any results. Until now.

Pastry Passion is a fun little M3 game, where you have to match mouth-watering ingredients which get collected at the bottom of the screen. Once you have enough of all ingredients, your cake will be "cooked". You then click on it to collect it and earn stars depending how well it is made (how fast you matched the ingredients). Levels start off easy and get harder (and very hard at the end!), but you get help from power-ups and Score Frenzies.

There is another mode - Arcade Mode, where you just have to keep going as long as you can without letting the cakes fall off the end of the conveyor belt (it does get faster and faster!), plus there are a lot of trophies to get. Most of them are easy, you just get them as you progress, but some are really hard (25x Combo!! Aagh!)

I like the funny graphics - the cakes look delicious! The music can be a bit annoying, and the characters are stereotyped caricatures, but it's just meant to be a bit of light-hearted fun.

If you like simple M3, try it - you might just like it! Definite buy for me!

Just a quick pop in to support the game and up the rating. The game starts off slow. But once you start playing, it gets more and more challenging. I was engaged from the start. If you like Match-3 games, give this one a try. You don't have options so it is a time game. You earn bonus as you play and you can purchase others.

I recommend this game!

I like it and I am buying it. I enjoy making the cakes. :)
It is match3, where you click on the ingredients to make the cakes the customers want. There are power-ups to buy with the money you earn. I know this type of game has been done before, but I found it enjoyable.

Negative reviews seem to come from those who haven't played many levels -- this is not an easy game and the difficulty ramps up as you play -- or those who dislike the graphics.
