I loved this game. It was just so challenging. I saw some of the reviews were a bit scathing but I thought I would give it a whirl and I'm glad I did. The storyline is excellent and I never lost the thread of the game which I can do sometimes. It is a little old fashioned but that doesn't bother me at all. It's true that some of the hidden objects are hard to find but that is part of the challenge. I enjoyed trying to find the coins in lots of the scenes. Loved the voices of some of the characters and they made me smile. I also loved the very varying locations. Some of the puzzles are a little hard, I thought, but I persevered with most of them, and with some of them it was like a light going on which made me feel good which is no bad thing. I would suggest you try the demo and take it from there. Some people will hate it but I'm not one of them. Show less

I love love love the fact that it is smaller objects, it makes you have to really look at the scene. On hard mode is the best because there are no hints. I really like this game, my trial demo was over in a flash or so it seemed. The game does not hold your hand, YOU have to use your brain. I got lost a couple times but eventually found my way, this is not your typical hidden object game but as one reviewer stated it is addictive. It’s a challenging & fun mystery/clues/puzzler HOG. The artwork is fantastic, and objects were actually hidden well, although as many have mentioned, some are small, but not too hard for me. Only had to use hints a few times for the harder stuff. Overall I was able to find them on my 13 inch Surface Pro screen which it plays nicely on. I'm completely addicted to this. It's good fun!

It certainly has a good level of challenge, (something that recent offerings have sadly lacked), because you have to really think about what to do with the stuff you've collected. Really enjoying playing this game, but it might not appeal to everyone. I've been playing some old games from 2008 recently because the recent offerings have been so poor. They've all been so samey and this one, for me, is a joy to play. Try before you buy. You may be pleasantly surprised. I was. Show less
