Bravo! Lethal Letters is by far the best out of the series with some of the most original and creative puzzles I've ever seen, and the story is magnificent! Irina is the daughter of a wealthy family, and a talented ballerina who is engaged to a very handsome Count, Sergey Antonov. Sergey has summoned you, AKA Dr. Hawthorn, psychologist and expert in the field of hypnosis, to find out why Irina has been blacking out and acting as if she's not herself. There's always a murder, and of course there's always a reason, in this series, but this time nothing makes sense and the deeper you delve into the psyche, the deeper the mystery becomes, and all roads just might lead you to the insane asylum.
You are a hypnosis expert, so you have brought your watch along with you that allows you to quickly hypnotise your patients, well....after playing a Mini Game of course. Many of the inventory items have plus signs, many of which have a small puzzle to solve. Each scene has a Hidden Sign or handbell to collect, and there are 13 different Achievements to earn.
The Hidden Object Scenes are really entertaining. There are Interactive List Finds, Silhouetted Shape Finds where you find the item that matches two silhouettes combined, Descriptive Finds in multiples, and even finding 5 of the same item to receive a tool to open up a list. There are even smaller zoom zone HOP's. You can opt for a Match 3 game if you're not into the HOP's.
The Mini Games were my favorite part, very fresh and very entertaining. Below are brief descriptions of some of the games you'll encounter during the demo:
1) Drag the gear through the maze, pressing the colored buttons to change the obstacles.
2) Rotate the parts so that both of them fit onto the shapes when you press the red button.
3) Hypnosis game with progressively harder puzzles requiring you to connect shapes with specific numbers of connections.
4) Rotate cylinder rings to create an image.
5) Press cash register keys matching the number each symbol represents.
6) Unlock the safe using the example shown in the correct directions.
7) Select the green arrows to navigate a car to the hospital. If you come across an obstacle, you need to figure out a different path. (this one's surprisingly fun)
This Collector's Edition has 13 Achievements, 26 replayable Mini Games, 15 replayable HOP's, freeplay Match 3 Games, 9 Music Soundtracks, 46 Collectible Handbell Signs, 8 Concept Art Pictures, 8 Wallpapers, a Souvenir Room, 8 Videos, a Bonus Video from concept to game (excellent production) a built in Strategy Guide and a Bonus Adventure, enjoy! I recommend this game!

Hello, Wonderful Fishies
Danse Macabre: Lethal Letters Collector's Edition offers an entertaining blend of adventure gaming and interactive hidden object scenes. I found the balance of more puzzles than hidden objects scenes quite refreshing and enjoyable.
The adventure aspects are somewhat straightforward and not too complex, but do offer an entertaining (if somewhat simple) level of difficulty. The mini-games are a bit on the simple side, but again, enjoyable. One feature I especially appreciate is that, if you prefer, you can try to solve puzzles with the instructions hidden. Otherwise, there is an “Info” button at the bottom of the screen, with game instructions.
Overall, I found the graphics in this game to be well drawn, with bright, deep color saturation, and sharp contrast. The scenes are interesting to look at and there is a hidden “Hand-bell” to find in each scene. The color scheme is clear and colorful, even within the hidden object scenes. While the hidden object scenes are junk piles, they are clearly drawn and one is able to locate the objects fairly quickly and without undue squinting.
If one finds hidden object scenes to be either tedious or a bit of an eyestrain, I am very happy to say that there is an alternative “Match-3” game to play.
The soundtrack, sound effects and voice-over acting are all well done. The musical score is pleasant and story-tone appropriate. Though, I must admit, that for my personal taste, there is a bit more dialogue and interacting with characters than I particularly prefer. On the other hand, for those of you who enjoy story-line, it does move along nicely.
The game offers four levels of difficulty for game play: Casual, Medium, Hard and Custom. I always play on Custom, when given the choice. In this game I appreciated the options of turning off the glitter in active areas, as well as being allowed to turn off the HOP error penalty.
There is a map which one can use for transport, as well as to indicate “Objectives” and “Areas of Interest”. There are “plus items” in the inventory, which one combines, or completes, before their use in game play. There are 13 “Achievements” to accomplish. Game-play is smooth and without glitches.
I highly recommend this game.

Many people have already written great reviews for this game, so I just want to say--The main problem I have with this game is that I can't see where there are any instructions for the minigames. So I do not know what it is I am supposed to be doing. Discussions of the first two minigames follow.
On the first one, I didn't know what I was supposed to be moving and nothing seemed to. Also I could not figure out how to tell the guy to move the lever. Then I after I skipped it, it became somewhat obvious, but when I went back and started the game over, I still could not figure out how to get through the maze.
On second one, even the strategy guide did not help because I was apparently supposed to slide the puzzle pieces. I just clicked on them. So when I would go on to the next group listed in the strategy guide, I'd get a message that what I had clicked on was inactive. Because I had no idea what the goal of the game was, I could not proceed. Finally, when I skipped the game, it played itself and became obvious.
Because I'm going to get to play all the minigames over from the extras menu, I'm not going to grade the game down for this.
--It's got great art and music.
--The HOPs have some great twists.
--Progressing through the game is really fun.
--All the CE bells and whistles seem to be there.
But hey, some idea of what I'm trying to do in the minigames would be nice, guys. Usually they're my favorite puzzles!

Pros: Art is detailed and gorgeous, music is atmospheric and not overly intrusive (could have used a little real ballet music, though), voice acting adequate to very good, and an actual plot that had twists and turns and held together beautifully. Full marks to the writers and the rest of the narrative crew! HOPs were interactive, progressive, and not boring for a change. This was one of those where the player can just wander around looking at the art. Well done!
Cons: Hard to find any. Some of the puzzles were perhaps a bit too easy. Some of the HO scenes, a bit too cluttered. That sure isn't much of a gripe.
I will confess that I am probably the world's worst finder of hand bells. Notable by their absence are the pestilent cutesy assistants that appear to have permeated the genre, thank God. POV is female but so well done it doesn't put off the guys. I was very pleased with this one and will be watching these devs. Show less

Another big hit by Eipix - which doesn't surprise me at all! Danse Macabre Lethal Letters tells the story about some kind of hypnosis that makes people 'blackout' and do things that they don't want to do. And you as the Doc need to turn back the hypnosis and figure out the mystery!

BASED ON 2 CHAPTERS OUT OF 5 CHAPTERS PLUS A BONUS CHAPTER
OVERVIEW: It is Valentine´s week and BFG is entertaining us with a “fractured” love story. We are off to Russia to view a performance by a prima ballerina with a “fractured” personality. Cupid’s arrow hits its mark when this prima ballerina shoots her fiancé in front of a packed house. I am MESMERIZED by this game. The HOP scenes are multiple-step and the puzzles are varied and contain some moderately difficult ones. All are well-crafted and there are more puzzles than HOP scenes. The game has a touch of Russian culture with realistic characters, graphics and music. The developer cleverly uses Russian stacking dolls to present the various levels of the game.
STORY: You, as a hypnotherapist, have been summoned to help Irina because of her strange behavior. She is blacking out and suffering from memory loss. But why? She doesn’t remember shooting her fiancé. You need to discover why this ballerina is acting strangely and blacking out. Could someone be controlling her actions? Can you discover the identity of the puppet master hiding in the background, “pulling her strings?” Being taken away to an asylum, you meet Dr. Tarasov, her psychologist. What is his connection to her problems and is he truly helping her?
PUZZLES: The puzzles range in difficulty and variety. In the demo there are maze puzzles, assembly puzzles, a pipe connection puzzle, a moving tiles puzzle and a logic problem (which is unique in this type of gaming). I felt that the puzzles have improved significantly with the developer providing some new approaches to some old puzzles (such as the maze puzzle in the demo) and a few which are a little more difficult to solve. In Chapter 2, the puzzles include a card game, another maze puzzle, a fiendish mathematical puzzle, and a vexing checkers puzzle.
FAVORITE PUZZLE: My favorite puzzle was the maze puzzle in the demo in which you must drive a car through city streets avoiding obstacles in your way. Most maze puzzles are one-dimensional; however, in this puzzle the maze is created so that you actually witness the obstacles and sights in the streets of the city. The puzzle is not terribly difficult; however, it is very well-crafted and fun to play.
HOP SCENES: As usual for the developer, most of the HOP scenes are multiple-step ones. There is also some mini-HOP scenes are well. The varieties include lists of items to locate, rebus picture clues, cryptic clues. You have the option to play a Match-3 game instead.
LEVELS: Very cool – Russian stacking dolls to introduce each level
Easy, Medium, Hard, Custom
Hints 10 to 120 seconds Skips 10 to 400 seconds
EXTRAS:
Map is provided as you play the game
Pocket watch to hypnotize people
13 Achievements
Collect 46 Hand bells
Collect 30 souvenirs
Replay 26 puzzles and 15 HOP scenes
Strategy guide - 41 Pages
Usual wallpaper, artwork, screensavers,
HERE ARE THE DETAILS (SPOILERS) FOR THOSE WANT MORE INFORMATION ON THE HOP SCENES AND MINI-PUZZLES
HOP SCENES: You have the option to play a Match-3 game instead.
A. Multiple-step. (1) List of items. (2) Rebus picture clues.
B. Mini-HOP scene – list of items to locate
C. Multiple-step. (1) Locate 5 of each type of item which opens up (2) list of items to locate
D. Cryptic clue to locate 9 of the same type of items related to the clue.
AFTER THE DEMO:
E. Multiple step. (1) Rebus clues. (2) Silhouette
F. Multiple step. (1) List of items. (2) Silhouette (3) Cryptic clue for inventory item
G. Multiple step. (1) List of items. (2) Rebus clues (3) Cryptic clue for inventory item
PUZZLES:
A. Maze puzzle. Move a cog through a maze by removing obstacles in its way using three colored buttons which change the colors and positions of the obstacles. EASY
B. Assembly puzzle. A tricky little puzzle in which you must rotate 2 cogs with various shapes on them to mesh simultaneously with those on a wheel containing four shapes. Rotating one of the cogs moves the other cog two rotations. 2X MODERATELY DIFFICULT
C. Connection puzzle. Connect lines from one shape to one or more shapes based on the amount of circles within each shape. The amount of lines leading from the block is equal to the number of circles within the shape. As you play the puzzle, you receive more information on the story. You will perform this function every time you need to hypnotize someone. 3X MODERATELY DIFFICULT
D. Moving tiles puzzle. Rotate rings on a cylinder to reveal a picture. EASY
E. Logic puzzle. Press buttons on a cash register to correspond to pictures. Each number corresponds to one picture. It is up to you to figure out how they are related. EASY
F. Matching puzzle. Using a code, open a safe by following instructions for the numbers and directions given to you. EASY
G. Maze puzzle. Drive a car turning to avoid obstacles in the road. The maze provides you with a realistic depiction of the city streets and is not a one-dimensional maze. EASY BUT FUN
AFTER THE DEMO:
H. Card game. Play cards by playing one card higher in number than the one your opponent places on the table. Whoever gets the most cards wins. The cards have numbers on all four sides. EASY
I. Maze puzzle. Guide a marble through a maze rotating the maze until the marble drops out at the bottom of the maze. EASY
J. Mathematical puzzle. Valves control pressure in two or more sensors. Adjust valves until all the sensors turn green. Adjusting one affects the others. MODERATELY DIFFICULT
K. Matching puzzle. Using a code, set switches to the correct numbers to open a cabinet. EASY
L. Variation of a checkers puzzle. Remove tokens by jumping over them until only one remains. 3X MODERATELY DIFFICULT
