I love the puzzles themselves, so the lack of a real story doesn't bother me at all.

I am still in the 10 x 15 stage. What I like even more about this game is that I can decipher the hieroglyphics - oops, I mean pictures - with no trouble.

I suspect they've hired a cross-stitcher! I'm one myself, and I know it's hard to design with such a small number of stitches and come out with something ...Show more

I thoroughly enjoyed this game as it was not the typical "photo" experience where basically half the puzzle was a mirror image to the other so there really was no true skill involved in solving it. Keep up the good work!

This is a pretty decent picross game, with the normal single color feature, but after yesterday's detective griddler, it's hard to give a fair review. I did enjoy the Egyptian theme and music, although many of the finished pictures are difficult to guess what picture you just created, which would have been more defined with additional colors. This is a pretty decent picross game, with the normal single color feature, but after yesterday's detective griddler, it's hard to give a fair review. I did enjoy the Egyptian theme and music, although many of the finished pictures are difficult to guess what picture you just created, which would have been more defined with additional colors. This game is based upon logic, so all puzzles can be solved without guessing or using hints, if you look long enough, you will find a logical solution.

As with all Picross, Griddlers, Mosaics, the goal is to fill in the squares on each grid using logic. There are sets of numbers on each row and column indicating the number of squares that need to be filled. Each group of numbers requires at least one empty square between them, sometimes it's easier to figure out which squares cannot possible be filled in which narrows down the field. Starting with the largest numbers are usually the easiest to figure out, Left clicking will fill in a square and Right Clicking will cross off a square.

There are 6 different locations and each location has 20 levels. You can earn up to 3 stars per level, a star is deducted for each mistake you make, and you need at least 1 star to unlock the next level. You can replay any level to try for a better score. All filled squares contain coins, some have bonus coins, you can use the coins to unlock other locations or to purchase 2 Starting Hints, the right to make a Mistake x3, or refill Hints on this level.

If you haven't played this type of game before, there are 6 Training Levels to get you familiar with the games mechanics, and there is a single brush up level available for Experts who haven't played the game in a while. Although there are way more entertaining Picross games available such as Fantasy Mosaics and Hidden Clues, this game is pretty decent, especially is you're a fan of single color, typical puzzles, enjoy! Third, I can't tell what the picture is after I have completed the grid. Maybe the developer could put a name like other games do. Not everyone is so creative that they can tell a palm tree from a scorpion when they are shaped from little squares of one color.

I really like the graphics. In fact, the graphics are much better than most of the current games like this. (Except the Gizmo games - I love those graphics). The music is appropriate to the setting, and very soothing.

I enjoyed the game, and might buy it later. But I'll probably not play it over and over like I do the Gizmo games. Show less

This is a very straightforward, unadulterated set of nonogram/picross puzzles. All puzzles are one color. There is no attempt at a story. The graphics are bland. The music is limited but non-irritating.

If you are looking for a new set of nonograms to play because you love these puzzles and want to do more, than this is probably for you and I recommend it. If nonograms are not your thing...or ...Show more

Accordingly, I recommend it since it does what it sets out to do competently if in a completely uninspired manner, but I do recommend it only to the specific audience just mentioned. Show less

I found the puzzles small and difficult to see. Not sure if it was the choice of the 2-tone colors or the size of the board or both

It was also difficult to follow the numbers on the top and side of the grid, as was stated by another reviewer. It did not cross off middle numbers unless both sides were "x'ed" out
