Mr. Penguin has found a new color in the fourth dimension! Not only are there four colors now available, but you earn up to 3 gold stars according to the amount of hints you use (on the down side, you are now penalized for using hints).

This is a griddler or mosaic type puzzle game where you fill in and cross of cells on various sized grids, using logic. There are groups of numbers located on each column and row of the grid, each group of numbers must be separated by at least one blank or crossed off cell. Sometimes it's easier to figure out where numbers can't possibly fit to reduce the amount of cells and narrow the playing field down a bit. Some cells contain bonuses such as extra hints, extra mistakes allowed or an extra pickaxe which allows you to choose which cell you want a hint on. There is a Sun icon as well that when fully charged, will give you a mega hint, filling in or crossing off a 3x3 area of your choice.

The one feature that makes Fantasy Mosaics stand out from the rest of the griddler games, is the vibrant array of colors available, and now there's four to make the pictures even better. It can also help you solve the puzzle when you get stuck, because you can switch to another color which ultimately narrows down the available cells. Unlike many griddler games, these pictures actually make sense, because they have four different colors you know what image you have created. Every step you take in this Fantasy will help the Penguins explore the fourth dimension and discover new inhabitants.

You will earn a Gold Trophy if you make no mistakes, a Silver Trophy if you make 1 mistake, and a Bronze Trophy if you make 2 mistakes. You can replay the grid as often as you want in order to improve your trophy status. This series is one of the best available, and certainly the most colorful. This is a must have game for griddler geeks and an immediate purchase for this geek, enjoy! Show less

Love having a 4th color. When it's a difficult puzzle we have more options. Can't wait for 5 colors to arrive!!! I just wish they weren't so addictive.

Really like this line of Mosaics. The new white color is very difficult to differentiate from white background. Otherwise....wonderful

These fantasy mosaic games have me completely addicted. Each one finishes rather quickly so that "just one more" always seems possible. And now they have added new and more colors AND (finally) the booster actually works. Welp. I know where my day is going......

As much as I love the Fantasy Mosaic games I have to admit that I often wondered why the developer didn’t use a more varied color palette. Now just what I have been wanting is here and Fantasy Mosaics 14 is better than ever.

The game still offers the basic options that I love and I generally play the game in casual mode because I like the feature of having the unused squares automatically fill once I complete a certain color.

There is not much more to say than that I purchased Fantasy Mosaics 14: The Fourth Color as soon as I saw it as today’s game. I think the addition of a fourth color makes the gameplay a bit more challenging and for me that is a plus. The mosaic games just can’t get any better than the Fantasy Mosaic series and all I can say is “please keep them coming.” I own all 14 games in the series but hardly ever play any of the first four because those were all presented in one color board option but even they were still a step above the others. Yes, I am a huge fan of the Fantasy Mosaic games and they are my go to games when I am looking for something different to play when I am not immersed in a HOPA game. Kudos to the Fantasy Mosaics team – you rock! Show less

I LOVE the 4th color, added to this installment. I liked another game that came out recently, like this, which had shapes, but I.......absolutely........... still prefer this.

The trick to this is ELIMINATE, eliminate, eliminate, any possible move in a row by counting. So if the row has an 8 only and 2 spaces are open then an entire row has crossed out due to a move you made, you know to eliminate those 2 blank spots because they just CAN'T equal 8 consecutive spaces, together. Then if you get stuck, move to a different color.
Yikes, it had me thinking.... because I was switching colors every move, practically.
Since I hate replaying the same grid, often I will cheat by using the camera on my cell phone....

I will take a pic of each color just before all my X's will run out. Even cheating this way, I had some trouble with this game....(and I've completed about 500 or more grids by now) but I loved the level of challenge.
I think most of us that are familiar with this series, feels that what the DEV is doing is working. The changes between each new game are minor and that is perfect with me.
I bummed when the demo ended and I will be buying this one for sure!

To all those at Match Gems --you pay so much attention to details with every conceivable move figured out. A big hug to all of you and a huge pat on the back for a job well done!!

Thank you for the hours and hours of fun. And please keep them coming....I for one will keep buying!! Show less

A couple of weeks ago Fantasy Mosaics got a new rival with the World's Greatest Places grids. WGP added some novel and needed elements in the griddler genre. With the addition of a fourth color, the FM series breaks new ground in a fashion that I am sure all lovers of this series have been anticipating. As has always been the case with FM's, challenging grids appear at the outset. Nothing is more aggravating than to be forced to complete a bunch of 5x5 or 10x10 puzzles often foisted upon us by the inferior grid games.
I also like that a couple of new colors are in evidence, one being an off-white and the other resembling peach or mango. This is a sure fire winner in my book and an instant purchase. Thanks again to a really good developer. Show less

I bought this game after playing for about 40 minutes and knew I wanted to add it to my Fantasy Mosaic collection. I play these games in relaxed mode and play off and on for days. I had no trouble downloading in Win-7 64 bit. The game plays the same as all the others with the exception of the addition of the 4th color. It does add a bit to the difficulty level. I bought this immediately. I was thrilled to see a 4th color and was not disappointed in the game play.
I have the entire series starting with the 4th, which was the first with multiple colors.They are hands down the best of all the griddler games.
My house will have to wait to be cleaned until I finish this.

Another Fantasy Mosaics game, and so soon after the last one. My day just got much better.

I own and have played every game in this series and they just keep getting better and better. Try this game out and I'm sure you will be as hooked as I am.
