Okay that may have been over the top (but it really does have meaning if you know pirate lingo) I got carried away with all the excitement of this entertaining pirate themed Time Management game, no worries lad, there's plenty of buried treasures to find on this adventure, once ye remove the sand that is. just about ever scene has buried treasures to spot, and the feature that makes this TM game so unique is that there are several islands that require you to first repair or build docks, and then row your boat to the island to search for treasure, resources, food and even bonuses. There are even resources floating on the shoreline and fish to catch for food to serve the pirates.

You are given several tasks to complete at the beginning of each level and you can earn up to three golden Jolly Rogers. Any level can replayed to try for a better score, and you can play in a Timed or Relaxed mode. There are 20 Achievements to earn and 10 valuable Artifacts to find as well as the Collectible Edition extra's such as Wallpapers, Trophies and a SG. As you progress, you level up and get to choose an upgrade in percentages, speedier repairs, extra workers, more resources etc.

This is a fantastic Time Management game and it's really a lot of fun, however, I'm not sure there's enough extra in the CE, so I'll most likely wait until the SE is released before purchasing it, but in the meantime, give it a try you'll be glad ye did, enjoy mates! Show less

TM games are my fav and I really do love this game! That said, I have not yet bought the CE only because I'm not sure there is enough added to make it worth it, but I may change my mind. (I don't care about wallpapers, etc.)

The biggest neg for me is you can not click ahead. So if your pirates are busy, you must wait until one is free before clicking the next task. That is suuuuper frustrating for me.

In some places, items are very close together and it can take a number of tries to get the exact item you want. It's not a biggie, but it's annoying. (For example, treasure has sometimes been right up again a fallen tree and I had trouble clicking the treasure instead of the tree.)

A negative AND a positive... the game is challenging!! I normally excel at TMs... frequently reach gold levels, rarely run out of time, etc. Not in this game. (Part of that may have been I was kind of tired.) And in relaxed mode it doesn't end the level if you run out of time. Seems to have a lot of replay potential.

So while the challenge is actually a plus, the neg is that if you're like me and get frustrated sometimes when you don't do as well as you usually do - the game may frustrate you. But again, overall the challenge should be a positive thing - especially with it having relaxed mode.

Lastly, the task list could be in a bigger font. But perhaps that's because I'm no longer 21. :)

So while I've not bought the CE yet (but probably will), I definitely recommend this game. And like some other players, I hope there are more versions of it in the future! Show less

Boats like Island Tribe, picking up flotsam like Rescue Team, Constructing buildings and chopping down trees like Roads of Rome, and Hercules etc.. building fishermans huts, quarries and lumbermills..then upgrading them like they all do! There are raiding pirates (not monsters or animals) you must click on to send them off...bonuses ...Show more

Luckily you can switch if getting too frustrated to relax mode for just that level to move on. I am persevering to get the stars in my own right, but it is already taking me several goes on the low levels so I may yet have to resort to that, and I usually master all games with gold.. All in all..its a smorgasbord for TM lovers, If you have ANY favourite TM game, you will find a smidge of it here and a bargain on the half price sale. Its not Royal Envoy...but its a good one! Was really happy to see a TM game FINALLY come out, can't stand hidden object games! It's really challenging pretty much from the offset, and alot of levels very hard to get 3 skulls on, but good enough gameplay that you will go back and try for those 3 skulls! Good gameplay, not too slow, loved the little mini games! Definitely recommend this game, took a while too!

We have seen plenty of TM where you grab this and that. Build this and that to destroy the evil whatever. This is almost the same except we are using pirates. There will be the same resources but you have boats, stopping ships from blowing, and building cannons.

Exactly what I pay my monthly money for! Fab TM game, music and sounds not annoying, gameplay good and challenging , graphics good, love it - it will be up there with games that I play time after time, trying to beat my score - up there with the likes of Roads of Rome and Wall of China - hope there will be a series of this game too

My favorite is time management and it's been awhile since we've seen one (almost 1.5 months.) The wait was worth it. This is a fun game! Lots of new scenarios, the music is NOT annoying. Timed play is a real challenge, but it can be done. ENJOY!

I bought the CE but don't know what I got for double the price... This game is very fun and super hard. You have to play the levels several times before you can get three flags.

I own almost every Time Mgmt game there is and this is my NEW FAVORITE! Warning: It's addicting! Definitely needs strategic thinking and often played a level once or twice before getting max top score. Highly recommend this one if you like gathering resources and building things, because it has a new storyline and twists that make it different than other TM games. ENJOY!
