Global cataclysms occurred on Earth many times. Ancient and legendary civilizations like Atlantis tried to prevent them but they were unable to survive. Some of the ancient mystical facilities continued working until present days, stabilizing the tectonic plates causing uncertainty for modern humanity. As time gradually passed, these facilities began to lose power causing strange atmospheric phenomena, earthquakes and other disasters.

In present day, a touristic flight was interrupted by a mystical energetic impulse causing an air crash over an uninhabited island. As a lone survivor, you must gather supplies and wait for rescuers. Explore the island, build shelter and gather food.

Uncover the mystery of an uninhabited island! Can you solve what caused the air crash?
  • Open world with picturesque locations
  • Deep and dramatic storyline

Very New kind of Hidden Object Adventure, very New Age-y, modern apocalypse meets ancestral technology with Aquarian reasoning systems. Background audio was ambient and environmental, nothing annoying. Background Imagery was absolutely Fantastic, great flashing vivid colours and lightwork affects, reminiscent of dreams and spiritual awakenings. Sadly, it was high quality high budget here or there & low-budget-travel-only-ever-by-jump-map in foot-travel. However, I was never confused as to where I had to be and when. I had covert spiritual guidance.
I know there is more than one level. I was in a hurry, so didn't count them. I had hint recharge within several seconds for myself, although I would have prefered zero seconds unlimited hints in any hidden object game.
I am no hidden object find fan. I like minigames & involving adventures among other things. Still. some HOS are better than others &, I dare say, these are not the best I've seen, but I found them surprisingly enjoyable, in spite of everything in the picture looking like everything listed (same as horoscopes) and everything being more hand drawn than I can stand. Hint here was a beautiful to look at reminder that everything we do has repercussions and it worked.Besides, some of the artwork here was actually really good despite being cleverly hidden hard to differentiate stuff. Plus one kind of HOS was find or affect 1 or more of each of more than one thing. I loved that! I got to get real experimental with some of those and found them just right, exactly the way I like them.
I also loved the impossible, but possible, cellphone game near the beginning. I played that 7 times, but can I go back and play it again? I should have tried that on time. If I find out I can't go back for my cell phone, I might take back one of my stars. In the meantime, I am consulting with them for the best time to make this a purchase and discover that and more. Should I do it right now?

You have a diary which has not only your day to day experiences - in your search to see if there are any other inhabitants, but also the items you have to find to build with.
There are photos that you also find & plenty of ! marks to give you a clue as to what or where you need to do, or be next.
The hint is a magnifier, which is unusual to say the least - it is like a very fast watery effect, which took me a little while to get the gist of - you have to be quick!
I have only struck 2 mini games in Demo, which are very varied - the 1st I really couldn't get the hang of (maybe my age!?) the 2nd was like a tropical Tetris type game.
I am glad I don't have to survive on this island, as I would be exhausted with all the walking back & forth, but otherwise I really like this - like a breath of sea air!! :)
If you like HO, a variety of mini games, a bit of adventure, mystery , literally building, then you should give this a go.

I actually found myself more involved with the story than most IHOs. When the trial ended I was actually very disappointed. The only thing I really didn't care for, but got used to was, the map. I would rather have been able to move scene to scene.
It's a must try as far as I am concerned. You will get very involved in escaping the island or finding survivors.
My 11 yr. old grand daughter was watching and she said "Oh my gosh Gram it's just like lost." She is right.

I have played hundreds of HOGs over the years, and so I love to find quirky little gems like One Way Flight. It is not the typical HOG.
You are a plane crash survivor, and the game unfolds kind of slowly as it teaches you the elements of the game. There are a lot of hidden object scenes, and you go back to the same scenes over and over again. Normally, that would be boring, but this game reminds me a bit of "Settlement Colossus" where you are repeatedly scavenging for brushwood or other useful items in the hidden object scenes.
The game leads you by the hand. It tells you what to do, but reads kind of like a graphic novel. You have to read everything, there is no speaking in the game so far. The English translation is not perfect--but I could figure everything out without any trouble. If you are new to games, you might have trouble figuring out what to do next. Just click on the yellow exclamation mark and be sure to read everything and do what the game says to do.
You get to build structures with the stuff you gather in the hidden object scenes, but the structures are predetermined (you have no creative control).
This game is NOT for everyone, because it is mostly hidden object scenes in a jungle island setting. You build stuff, (but I don't want to give any more details than that;). I do not know where the story is going, but I am interested in finding out the ending.
I will probably buy this game when my trial period is up. (But I will use a punch card reward.) The hidden object scenes are easy and pleasant. I am enjoying "figuring the game out". The game is odd and a bit challenging to follow at first--but I like finding a different sort of HOG. Show less

I had to have a go at this as it's the first game that my favourite reviewer hasn't liked! I've managed to play to the morning of day 2 but I've had to bail out as it's made me nauseous - my migraine sensitive eyeballs! (It triggered me two ways, using a magnifying glass to look for small things and the use of a blurring in and out of focus that just mimics what happens in my migraines - just bad luck and I wouldn't expect it to happen unless it's specific to anyone else!). I'm guessing that this is an old mac/iPad game that's been transferred to PC, as I ended up with a magnifying lens playing the Mortimer Beckett games.
As I only played Day One, I was still in the Tutorial so it was quite directive and I was traipsing around the map completing quests. All the action was of a practical survival nature, with this weird dream sequence of a scale and skulls hinting at a bizarre underlying mystery.
Hilarious to imagine that anyone who's survived a plane crash would find a handheld game device and then start playing a game where you have to fly a plane and stop it crashing. Truly down the rabbit hole in 'game within a game' terms.
I am stubborn enough to grab my magnifying glass and a bunch of nausea tablets to find out where this game goes. If I'd played several 'days' within the game and all I had to show for it was 'gather wood' 'find food' then I know I'd be ticked off. I found the non-linear world of Mortimer Beckett ridiculously hard and had to use a walk through. For so much effort and discomfort I'd want a pretty good pay off at the end of a story.
It's swings and roundabouts - a game I got on my fire tablet, has put me right off the PC version. I wouldn't have believed that the device could effect a gaming experience so much. So how hidden do you like your hidden objects?
I'm intrigued enough by the game that I'm going to see if I can find it elsewhere and it may be a game I get here and just keep chipping away at over the weeks and months - I'm sure I have some kind of 'I need to know what happens next' disease. I think it's worth have a free trial at, especially if you are someone who can tolerate doing some 'work around' in your gaming. But hats off to previous reviewer, she did stick it out a lot longer than I was able to! Show less

Plane crashes. You come to your senses next to burning wreckage. There is no sign of anyone else, no bodies or remains. You set about surviving - in some very odd ways. Eventually you find evidence of a lot of bizarre events happening on this island.
Good stuff: Clear cartoon artwork with vibrant colors, a map, and a notebook that holds everything - inventory, diary, tasks, and map. No VOs but good background sounds. Lots of HOPs; couple of puzzles. HOPs generally contain more than one of version of the items you need. Pick the wrong one and you get a message that you have more important things to find or that you have enough of this particular item. (You may have enough right now, but you will be back repeatedly to pick up more of whatever for future projects.)
There is also a file folder in the upper right hand corner. This holds notes spanning many years left by pirates, explorers, and possibly yourself.
Bad stuff: The bad grammar and English usage in the BFG intro to this game should have prepared you for some equally bad English usage in the game itself. Made-up words are never a good sign.
Several times the written messages at the top of the screen have nothing to do with what you are going to do next - At one point after you've built a hut, you read a sentence or two about finding an abandoned cellar that you want to explore. Then you go build a well.
That file folder throws a monkey wrench into the works as well. What it contains has almost nothing to do with the straightforward HOPs-with-a-few-puzzles game you've been playing. Yet there are one or two bits in the folder that explain some odd moments in the game.
Bottom line: This is an inoffensive odd little game that works as a demo for amusement but not as an actual purchase. Game play is a throw-back to earlier times and is slow and stilted.
Sample this game for the laughs.

There's no bodies, no blood, it's as if I were the only one on the plane, but I wasn't alone! I kick into survival mode and search the debris for items that will provide shelter, food and water. Some of these items are tiny and unrecognizable, this can only mean one thing....I must have lost my glasses in the crash. After building a shelter and a firepit, I decide to play a game on my phone, I won't bother trying to send a text or try calling 911 because that's just silly. What a coincidence, the game I'm playing involves trying to keep an airplane flying, not too high I'll get zapped by lightning and crash, not too low, I'll run into the mountains and crash! Surely this game will take my mind off of the horrible situation I'm in!
DAY 2: What a beautiful island I'm on, it's paradise! Time to explore the island for other survivors. But first, I'm going to need to explore the same scene as yesterday because I thought there was a tube of lipstick laying there and it was such a beautiful shade of red, it will go perfect with my new sleeveless red shirt!
DAY 3: Okay, I'm totally bored, I better find a swimsuit at the crash site so I can take a dip in the ocean, hopefully I'll find some sunscreen too!
DAY 4: I found a volleyball today! I'll use that pretty red lipstick to paint a cute little face on it, I will finally have someone to talk to! Show less

Should you click on the hint button, you may or may not be shown the area to look in. Depends not on whether it is time for a hint, but whether the thing wants to work. The tutorial is intrusive and unhelpful. After reading one rave review and a few so-so's, I tried again. Same problems. This seems like a game built by a group that knows all the elements, but has forgotten to build in fun. I hated the intro where the front of the plane is gone for awhile before the crash. No way to skip or fast forward. I was not challenged. I was not inclined to stick around. I built the stupid hut and started on the fire, but it wants things in a certain order, and hey, did I mention that I hate minigames? No? I do. I don't mind the cartoonish art. I don't really mind the story line. I just mind that there is no way of going anywhere or seeing anything that was not scripted to happen in a certain order. I'm being dragged through the sand. Feh. I had trouble accessing some of the HO items - at times requiring multiple tries (not usually an issue for me), even when I was correct. I didn't care for the pace of the game, and thought there were too many HO scenes during the game play. I ESPECIALLY didn't like the 5407 Mb Hard Drive space advertised, which would take HOURS & HOURS for me to download the complete game. Why 5Gb for a relatively simple game? I did enjoy some of the mini-games that can be viewed on the Big Fish video advertising the game (flying an airplane between the ground & clouds; etc), but I got bored with that quickly because it didn't advance the game play itself.
You might not feel as strongly as I do about those things, so please try the demo yourself before purchasing. Show less
