I was skeptical when I downloaded this game, because I wasn't a fan of the last detective solitaire game series that was offered. I was thrilled that this is a Higher/Lower solitaire game versus the Match 2 Mahjong style games. I was skeptical when I downloaded this game, because I wasn't a fan of the last detective solitaire game series that was offered. I was thrilled that this is a Higher/Lower solitaire game versus the Match 2 Mahjong style games. There are 120 levels that can be replayed via the map, if you are like me, I have to play the level over and over until I remove all of the cards and earn all 3 available stars. You can choose from 6 different card skins, and 3 different face designs, and there are 9 Trophies to earn for goals such as earning a specific number of stars. Some levels require a key card to be found to use on the lock card to progress. Combos of 6 or more cards will activate the multiplier bar which earns more coins.

You can purchase Bonuses with the coins you earn, I discovered that you had to go into the Achievements section and then click on the trophy icon on the bottom to access the Shop. You can purchase an Eye Bonus that will flip over any face down card that is available, a Hammer to remove any open card of your choice, and a Shuffle bonus which removes the cards on the field, shuffles them and returns them to the field for a fresh perspective. You can upgrade the bonuses or purchase useful features such as an extra Undo, a faster bonus recharge rate, a lower combo number or a bigger percentage of gold to be earned. You will receive Wild Cards that are number specific, with the exception of the Joker. There are only 9 slots available, so if you find a wild card on the field and all 9 slots are filled the 10th card will automatically go on the deck as the next card shown. I found that sometimes it's more beneficial to use a duplicate wild card from my stash, which will give me the available room I need in order to keep the new wild card.

Yes, this solitaire has a sleuthing mystery to solve as well! George Karson has just proposed to his sweetheart Mary Hoskins with a beautiful and very shiny ring of course. Before Mary can give her answer, the police arrest George for Robbery. George professes his innocence and Mary must figure out who framed George and why before Mary can Marry George!

I'm a solitaire geek, but I'm also very picky. I insist on the Higher/Lower style of solitaire and I have to be able to replay any level that I wasn't able to remove all the cards from. This game is entertaining and meets all my personal requirements so for me this is a must have solitaire game, but I always suggest you try before you buy to make sure it meets all your personal requirements, enjoy! I enjoyed this game and I finished the story line today. I bought this game last week and couldn't stop when I started it. Dinner was a little late and bedtime was later. I just wanted to show you how much I enjoyed it. I like Hidden Object Games but every once in awhile I buy a solitaire game!

yes I have rated it 5 stars. So why is the title so negative.

The game plays well, and it looks good, but it is the same old thing. One card higher and lower game

I particularly like that the cards are nice and clear, not all artsy and hard to read.

I'm just not sure it adds anything to my game collection. But it is a good one of its type.

I recommend this game!

I love these games and just wish there were more of them. The story is great and if you don't get 3 stars you can always replay the level. Great power ups that can be bought and you don't have to keep buying them.
Please make more like this

I'm really glad that Big Fish decided to let us have the opportunity to purchase this game. I had tried it out at another site a couple of months ago and have been hoping to see it here.

This is a fun, not-too-difficult, but interesting offering for those of us who enjoy a nice game of solitaire without pulling our hair out. There are plenty of helpful "extras" to purchase with the coins that accumulate as you progress through the levels.The game play is the traditional solitaire style and having to repeat a hand is rare. The music is not the stuff of Grammy awards, but it is pleasant and the volume can be adjusted by clicking on the "Options" icon (gear) at the main screen. The storyline is rather cute. Show less

While you would expect a solitaire game to be primarily solitaire, this one advertised a detective story in addition. I played for the free hour and never got any part of the detective story. For me, it became boring just doing the solitaire without the story line coming into play.

I don't recommend this game.

This is a one-up, one-down card game, like many others available. It does provide a story line and nice enough graphics (I always turn off the sound on my games). My major complaint while playing the trial game was the exit button was not clear, I clicked on every button on the screen but either got to "Help" (which only gives playing tips) or back to the game. I am not sure how this got to be on "One of the Top Games of 2016 List.I am also not sure what deck they are using but I had 7 Queens either showing or turning up as I removed one. How can you remove that many of the same card? There are no extra cards in the deck. That is the most of one I saw but it happened over and over with other numbers and 4 or 5 of the same card showing. A "No Buy" for me. ...Show more
