This is truly a fun game with a cute story line and lots of challenges (Relaxed Mode with No Timer is the default.) and a few helpful little "power-ups". Don't worry about it launching in Windowed Mode, as soon as you get past entering your name and get to the Main Menu, you have the option to use Full Screen Mode. This is truly a fun game with a cute story line and lots of challenges (Relaxed Mode with No Timer is the default.) and a few helpful little "power-ups". A simple match3, a simple mini game, with an easy listening jazzy tunes... addicting.

It's good for beginners of this genre, not too taxing but still holds a little bit of a challenge. It is quite old though and I think it shows at times. Louie inherited the family restaurant, Le Classique, after his father passed away. There's just one problem, Louie has no idea how or what to cook to keep the restaurant's five star rating. Louie's food was horrible, and out of sheer exhaustion, Louie fell asleep, and in his dreams, a Rat told him to search the attic for a book of his father's secret recipes. When he woke up, he searched for the book, and to his surprise he did indeed find the book that the Rat told him about! Now Louie is busy learning new recipes, and soon, he will fulfill his father's dream of franchising Le Classique worldwide, one ingredient at a time.

This is a swap type Match 3 game requiring you to match at least 3 identical ingredients on all gold cells to complete the levels, and remove a specific amount of each ingredient shown. The jazz music is pleasant, the storyline is an adaptation of Ratatouille, and you can play in a Timed or Relaxed mode. This is a very simplistic Match 3 game, because there are only 3 bonuses available. The first one is a Spatula to remove a single tile, the Cooking Torch removes a 4 tile range and the Collector removes all of one kind of tile. There are no bonuses or power-ups earned for large matches which kind of disappoints me, and you earn up to 3 stars which is a feature I don't particularly care for either.

The goal is to "learn" new recipes once you have earned enough stars, and you must learn 4 different recipes in each level. To learn, you find 4 opaque ingredients in a lame sort of HOG, then choose the ingredients in the order shown, this was painfully time consuming and not necessary in my opinion. There are the usual obstructions such as chains or double gold tiles, and even spiders that require matches on or under them, and occasionally you will have to collect special items by making matches under them until they drop off of the board. Some of the ingredients are encased in bubbles which can be popped when the desired ingredient morphs inside of the bubble. Other than that, there really are no exciting features, so I'll pass on this one. Show less

This is a cute game for young kids. The matching is very easy and so are the recipes. Experienced match 3's will find it boring.

An okay match-3 game for beginners. Upon playing through the first two cities, it felt like the game was unfinished. Was there any point to the coin collection in between levels? Also, the mini games to learn the recipes lack any challenge to an adult. The story line had potential. I felt like I had played this game before in a different package. The sound effects and "spiders" were the same.

I don't recommend this game.

This game is boring. It is overly simple and offers no challenges, at all. The learn a new recipe feature is stupid, and a waste of time. My little brother was bored with it too.
I don't understand the people who gave this 5 stars. It is possibly ok for a person who never played games before, or really little kids.

I don't recommend this game.

I thought this Game would be great but I soon regretted getting it. The Game is very slow and it's just the same thing over and over again. No challenge. There is no way to Exit out of the Restaurant scene without starting another Game and that makes it "User Unfriendly."

I don't recommend this game.
