Won Australian Patience twice in a row to start off, but I'm not thrilled with the rest (or the graphics and pace). Kind of fun, but I don't think I'd recommend it to anyone.
I don't recommend this game.

What would be better than 330 games of Solitaire? The answer is 1 Game of Solitaire that you actually have a chance of winning. I'd like to win at least one game an hour! What would be better than 330 games of Solitaire? The answer is 1 Game of Solitaire that you actually have a chance of winning. I'd like to win at least one game an hour! Honestly, most of the Solitaire games available here are worthless variations that I have no desire to play. During the demo, I played most of the games in the Golf category, that were similar to Tri-Peaks Solitaire. I played a few different types and didn't win any of them so I finally settled for playing Golf of Egypt, for the remainder of the demo, and didn't win a single game, nada, zilch, 0 with a capital Z!
This game is by Magnussoft, the creators of Magic Cards Solitaire, Magic Cards Solitaire 2: The Fountain of Life, and Solitaire 220 Plus. If you have played the original Magic Cards Solitaire game, you will recognize the same exact music plus one. Because there are only 2 tracks of music that I noticed, (perhaps different in other categories?) it does become quite monotonous. You can choose from 8 card themes as a matching set, if you choose a particular face card, the back of the card comes with that selection. There are a whopping 49 Background colors to choose from, and I will admit that most of them have vibrant colors and beautiful graphic designs. My only question is, why stop at 49, bump it to 50, you're driving me crazy here!
There are several categories of Solitaire, Arizona, Bakers Dozen, Canfield, Carlton, Fan, Forty Thieves, Four Seasons, Freecell, Gypsy, Golf, Klondike, Pairs, Sir Tommy, Spider, Yukon, and Others. Within each of those categories, are approximately 20 subcategories or variations of that particular type of Solitaire. Obviously some have more than others.
There is one feature that drove me bonkers, if your mouse hovers over any card on the board, a transparent bar appears at the top of the screen, telling you how many card remain. Likewise, if your mouse hovers over the foundation deck, the same transparent bar appears to tell you how many deck cards remain. (not enough I assure you) At first I thought it was a cool feature, but then it just became annoying.
You can save any game at any point so you won't lose your progress if you want to try another type of game, and there is a Statistics Page that keeps track of your progress. (my stats didn't look so hot)
For me personally, this is a whole lot of nothing, many of the games offered come stock with most computers anyway. Perhaps if I had won more games, I'd feel differently, but I'm just not digging this particular game, however, I do love playing the first Magic Cards Solitaire game. Show less

I love Solitaire. It's so relaxing, and I know how to play about 70 different kinds, so this game sounded wonderful. Unfortunately, it wasn't. The game is timed and you actually see your score go down if you take too long or you undo a move. Solitaire isn't time management, where the goal is to meet a challenge. The game is timed and you actually see your score go down if you take too long or you undo a move. Solitaire isn't time management, where the goal is to meet a challenge. It's a relaxing pastime to enjoy at leisure. Then there's the card movement. I need click-click to move cards due to a hand disability and this only provides drag and drop. And the tutorial is beyond annoying, forcing you to click each button on the interface as it tells you what it is before it goes away. On every page. Plus they spelt Forty Thieves as Forthy Thieves. That's just a minor annoyance, but it was the cherry on top of all the rest for me. If you want to race against time holding your mouse button down and chasing all over your desk with the mouse to play solitaire, be my guest. I prefer one of the more well-crafted versions out there, even if it doesn't provide as many variations. Show less

I usually don't do reviews but I have to on this one, for the main reason that the deal breaker for me will also be the same for others.

I'm always looking for a good solitaire game, but just one thing stopped me on the first game. I beat the game easily, which left quite a few cards. Instead of the cards automatically leaving the table and then dealing a new hand, I had to physically click each card to away to finish the game. That is so archaic, I haven't seen that in any game for awhile. I searched the options, everything to see if I had the option for the auto pickup, but none. I will not sit there and have to click each card left over to finish the game. Sadly, a no buy for me, not even with a free coupon. Show less

My hopes were raised this morning when I saw a game offering various solitaire games! Not just one-up-one-down, which I enjoy now and again, but "real" solitaire as I call it, like Klondike and Spider.

I eagerly installed the game, only to be disappointed. Disappointed in the quality of the graphics, the sounds, the texts... all 'round disappointment.
I played one variation, Northwest Territory. The cards are glunky to move, by either dragging them into place, or double clicking. Even when I won the hand (and in Northwest Territory it's pretty hard NOT to win!) I still had to double click or drag each card to complete it, no auto finish like even my little free phone app solitaire does. It just takes sooo long to play!
The board and cards do not have crisp, clear graphics. This is the case in nearly every solitaire with a variety of games I've found. Why? Why such plain backgrounds? Why always a teensy bit foggy?
And those hovering hints are just ridiculous! Maybe there is a way to disable them, I disabled the tutorial. Any time your cursor happens to cross over a card it opens a hint at the top of the page telling you what that card can be played on, or what can be played on it.
Why doesn't someone come out with a quality solitaire game? They exist as one-up-one-downs and match 2 cards (talk about boring); what's the problem with Klondike or Free Cell? How about a game with a nice story, nice graphics, like Emerland, but NOT one-up-one-down for a change? I'd buy it instantly! And the next one after that, and the next one after that! Show less
I don't recommend this game.

I have been looking for a good solitaire game here at BFG. The good news is that there is a varied selection of games BUT the bad news is that the game presentation is horrible. The technical aspects of the game certainly need a lot of work before I would even consider it ready to play.

There is no widescreen option for the game, which is unheard of in today's market. The cards are very small and for those gamers who have visual issues the game will not work.
At least one other reviewer was able to play the game and mentioned that she actually played several different games and for that alone I think she deserves an award.
The game has very small cards, a user interface that is NOT user friendly and a terrible sound package so I uninstalled it almost immediately. Unfortunately, my hopes were dashed and this is not the wonderful game I expected. There are far better solitaire games to be found here at BFG and many of them are quite a bit of fun and with all of them exceeding what is offered in Solitaire 330 Deluxe. There are not many games here at BFG where I would ever suggest that you don’t try the demo but this game is so bad, I recommend that you don’t waste your time. Show less
