Although this game is lacking in the logic department, I love how Labyrinths of the World centers around controversial Ancient Alien icons of the world, Stonehenge, Easter Island and now Devil's Tower. Devil's Tower is the Nation's first National Monument, sitting across the state line of northeast Wyoming nestled in the Belle Fourche River Valley, and was made famous in the movie Close Encounters. The once hidden Tower has always been there, but over time, erosion stripped away the softer rock material, exposing the 1,267 foot megalithic granite stump. Devil's Tower is considered sacred by most Native Americans, who believe the grooves on the tower were caused by a giant bear while chasing several young Indian maidens. If you think about it, this is a perfect setting for this Alien themed game, and the perfect monument to disguise a portal to another alien world, Fractal-S.
How do you stop an alien that commands the power of air and earth, an alien that is invulnerable to all known weapons? The real answer is, you can't, so to make the game interesting, logic has to be thrown to the bear who clawed the grooves, otherwise, it would be a very sad game where nobody survives, right? Great, now that we've gotten our heads wrapped around that, this is the part that I explain about Herring, the talking horse! I must admit, this scenario was a BIG mistake. Not only did they make a beautiful horse talk, but they gave her a horrible, whiny, irritating and fake sounding voice. At first, I thought the way we would communicate was by putting together symbols to figure out what concerned her, in a broken, unspoken language, but nope, they had to give her an actual voice. In this Collector's Edition version, there are 64 hidden Pearls to find and use to buy items for the Secret Lair (I never understood the appeal of this feature?) 20 Morphing Unique Flowers of the World, and 20 hidden Native American Artifacts.
The Hidden Object Scenes are varied with Interactive List finds, Multiples of the same Objects, and Keywords in a Story finds. The items are fairly clear and recognizable. You can opt to play a Match 3 game instead of the HOP's.
The Mini Games are creative and there's a ton of them to boot, and are available in Easy and Hard modes. Below are brief descriptions of some of the games you'll encounter during the demo:
1) Swap beads to recreate the picture.
2) Restore the picture puzzle strips, 1 or 2 pieces at a time depending on difficulty.
3) Navigate through the maze without getting caught, interacting with the scene's objects and hiding in bushes.
4) Create a continuous connection by rotating rings, moving one ring may affect others.
5) Select and place gemstones onto purple spheres, the goal is to match blue lines from gemstones until they form a pattern.
6) Move the green gem to the exit, the gem will transport to a highlighted slot with each move.
7) Remove flower vines starting with the top most first.
8) Find and select the objects in the scene as shown on the flower petals.
9) Guide Herring while avoiding obstacles in her path.
10) Answer all the questions (about the game) correctly.
This Collector's Edition has 19 Concept Art pictures, 23 Wallpapers, 5 Music Soundtracks, 31 Achievements to earn, 20 Morphing Flowers, 20 Artifacts, 64 hidden Pearls to buy items for the Secret Lair, 26 Videos, 23 replayable Mini Games, 20 replayable Hidden Object Scenes, a built in Strategy Guide and a Bonus Chapter, enjoy! The CE has collectables, 30 artifacts, 64 pearls, and 30 morphing objects.
Game play includes hidden objects scenes, not your usual, and you can choose to play match-3 instead. At different stages of the game, you will have to guide yourself through different labyrinths, one of which is guiding a horse through, not as easy at it sounds.
Another feature - map that you can choose to show collectables or not,
The one thing that I didn't like so much was the amount of "talking," But you can click through this.
I recommend that you try the name before dismissing it!

In Labyrinths of the World the Devil’s Tower you are on a special journey to help your sister Margaret with her initiation as a member of the Seekers. Upon arrival at the famed Devil’s Tower (yes, the same one from my favorite sci-fi film about “Close Encounters”) you find a message from Supreme Seeker, Takh Taash, advising you that an ancient evil god, Sanderion, has found his way through a portal to Earth and is going to destroy it just as he did Takh’s planet Fractal-S. Facing imminent danger, Margaret’s initiation must be completed immediately if earth is to be saved. As we all know in BFG game land, things will soon go awry and Margaret is kidnapped by Sanderion so now rather than initiating Margaret into the order you must save her as well as prevent Sanderion from carrying out his evil plans. Whew, just another normal day in the life of a Seeker!
The scenes in Devil’s Tower are gorgeous and since I have to gawk at everything I see the game will probably take me a long time to complete as there are 5 chapters and a 56-page Strategy Guide. We have quite an array of tools available during the game including the Spectral Oculus that is used to locate portals and the Seeker’s Amulet that will allow passage through portals once they are found. Yes there is a pet helper in the game (something that doesn’t usually annoy me) but I question why the developer chose to add a talking horse that seems rather out of place given the storyline.
Without going into any detail since other reviewers give you the full info, I will just say that the HOPS were varied and seem much the same as those we always see in HOPA games. There is an alternate Match 3 game available if you don’t want to search for items. The puzzles are quite good and I appreciate the inclusion of a choice between Easy and Hard for most of them. Although I enjoyed most of the puzzles in the demo I have to say that I dislike what I refer to as hide and seek games as I travel through a maze. Since I don’t like this type of puzzle the skip button becomes my best friend. Other puzzles I happen to enjoy and I really liked most of those included in the demo.
If you happen to prefer the CE version of a game, this one includes Collectible Pearls, Artifacts, and Morphing Objects to find .The pearls are plentiful and fairly easy to spot but the morphing objects and artifacts are not quite as visible. Since I am a bit driven when it comes to collectibles, I appreciate the area on the upper right portion of the inventory bar that shows when the various collectibles are available. Other extras in the game include achievements to earn, wallpapers, concept artwork, music, videos, a Seeker’s Lair where you use your pearls to purchase items for the room, the strategy guide and a bonus chapter.
Labyrinths of the World is a series that I happen to enjoy and in this game we get to visit the Devil’s Tower. The gameplay is fun but fairly easy. The storyline is interesting since your sister is stepping up and will soon become a Seeker but we all know that trouble seems to follow Margaret, so maybe not. Needless to say, I will add this game to my collection because I don’t think I can ever possibly have enough HOPA games to play. Even though this game is a definite keeper for me, please try the demo to see if you will enjoy the Devil’s Tower. Show less

*Match 3 available if HOGs frustrate you, can switch back
and forth whenever you want.
There was not much action in the demo but the tasks and goals were entertaining. I succeeded in finding a good amount of collectibles, there was a good map and journal. Seems to be a solid, not-too-complex sci-fi tale. It should provide enough plot to hold our interest.
5 chapters is usually a long game for me because I take my time "enjoying the view". I just may need the strategy guide this time, too. I liked the task and goals in this game.
A talking lizard AND a talking horse?! What more do we need for an entertaining romp through yet another portal, with just enough danger thrown in for good measure.
God Bless.... Show less

In this latest chapter of the Labyrinths of the World series, travel to the legendary Devil’s Tower and prevent an otherworldly evil force from destroying the world! This is the 6th installment of the Domini games series that takes you on another adventure playing the role of a "seeker" traveling to yet another world to battle unearthly evil. You play the role of Tritta and with all your success in the previous editions of the series it's time to initiate you sister Margaret now that she's ready to be a "seeker" too. Margaret has proven herself worthy and it's time for initiation. The only problem you face is an adversary who commands all known elements. Water, Fire, Air, and Earth. His name is Sanderion and he literally grows crystals to control uninitiated "seekers". His desire for ultimate power in the universe is a force like no other. Now he has chosen to claim The Crystal World. The Crystal Worlds army couldn't resist Sanderion's countless hordes. When the defenders of the Crystal World were defeated, Sanderion defiled the worlds heart with his darkness. Yikes! Now every crystal contains a piece of his curse and he uses these crystals to store the memories of enslaved peoples of the Crystal World. The fate of the planet rests with you and your sister (in training) Margaret. You must act fast and use all of your knowledge solving intense puzzles and super creative hidden object scenes before Sanderion turns both of you into crystal dust!!! The storyline isn't a new concept for this Sci-fi thriller but it is enjoyable nonetheless. The time it takes to complete the entire adventure is about 4 hours. The bonus game give you another hour or more to totally complete this CE version. In the bonus adventure you take on Sanerion's evil brother Nokken in an under water adventure tasked with taking him down too! I really enjoyed this newest edition of Labyrinths of the world even though their are other installments in the series one may enjoy more. Here's the list of the other editions in the series. Play them all if this genre of casual gaming is something you love. Cheers!
•Labyrinths of the World: Shattered Soul (2014)
•Labyrinths of the World: Forbidden Muse (2015)
•Labyrinths of the World: Changing the Past (2016)
•Labyrinths of the World: Stonehenge (2016)
•Labyrinths of the World: Secrets of Easter Island (2017)

WOW - This was a great game in my opinion. If you enjoy a long playing story line, irrespective of its theme, with plenty of extras to find and challenging puzzles to solve, (there are easy and hard options to choose from) taking you to many different scenes - don't hesitate - choose it now. It really did tick all the boxes for me. It stood out as a truly good buy.

Aside from that it was a really fun game with interesting puzzles and a good story line.
