I have been on pins and needles waiting for this game to make it's appearance and I can't wait to get back to it. If you love murder mysteries I think this will hit the right chords. I was immediately caught up in this game from the get-go. I have been on pins and needles waiting for this game to make it's appearance and I can't wait to get back to it. If you love murder mysteries I think this will hit the right chords. I was immediately caught up in this game from the get-go. It has collectables and of course morphing objects in the hidden object scenes and I even enjoyed the music, though for the most part I usually play without it. The voice overs are very good and the atmosphere is just what I'd expect from this developer. I am prejudiced (a little) because I love Eipix games even the ones that aren't up to par, so to speak. I would encourage anyone who likes a good mystery to give it a try at least. I play games for sheer enjoyment and don't consider myself an expert. Well. Ms. Douglas, let's go get the culprit (s) so you can receive your lifetime achievement award! Show less

This was the last offering of this series. I’m sad to see Ms Douglas go.
At least it was a worthy good-bye party, ehm, case, ehm, game.

Set in the academic world and their scientific intrigues, the story unfolded nicely.
Graphics were well done. A shout-out for the sound team, they did a fantastic job! Loved the music as well.

I enjoyed the HO’s and the mini-games. Not too difficult, not too easy.

The Bonus Chapter was very well done!
The story was a sequel to the main game. University is not just about science, the students and their age occasionally bring up some problems.
Another shout-out for the funny achievements, as „Hairdresser - use the fan on Viktor’s face“.

It’s always good to see, if developers improve their games… Eipix did!! This developer has put together another treat for everyone to play...Dead Reckoning games have never let me down...Just played some of the trial...and I will be buying this one..

I have many of their games and some of them I continue to play over again...The story line certainly kept my interest..the graphics are to me in HDr format...bright in color & very clear.. The puzzles are plentiful ... I skipped one early in the trial just to get further into the game.. but I will get another chance to replay it..
If you like games with lots of achievements, collectibles, souvenirs and other things to find, and don't find them a distraction, then I think you'd love this one..
Voice overs were very well done, with emotion to match facial expressions ..
You wont go wrong if you purchase this one... Show less

The first game I play of this series and I am fully satisfied. No witch, no castle ,no invisible dimension , but an investigation first about a murder , then the plot thickens while exploring a university with well chosen musics as companions and interacting with other characters which are almost all suspects.
Mini-games were good, as were the not so many Hidden objects scenes.

The first game I play of this series and I am fully satisfied. Nothing is very difficult. The game duration is quite correct , it is long enough but does not overstays its welcome. The bonus level is not that long (less than 1 hour) but amusing , so it's up to anyone to wait for the standard editon.
Quite a good surprise this game : it is modern, varied, sometimes innovative sometimes not, anyway the entertainment factor was there , as i played the whole thing in one go which rarely happens to me. Show less

The dead reckoning series has long been one of my favorites. I love the lack of fake monsters etc. This series is all about solving a mystery or two. The characters are believable, and the story is good.

This newest addition to the series shows that Eipix has taken a fresh look and added some new elements that make it even more enjoyable. This is a game that I will play again, and I almost never do that. My one stand out moment that made me laugh was in the bonus game. We had to play an Eipix video game to get our clue. It was an arcade game in which we had to shoot the clues to get the prize. It was clever and unexpected and fun. Which is kind of how I feel about the whole game. Give it a try. It is fun. Show less

For the most part I love the Dead Reckoning series. I like the murder mystery without all the gore. The only demons here are the human kind. It took me an hour to get through the demo (which is somewhat unusual for me) and a couple of the puzzles were challenging.

... made this a buy for me almost immediately.

I'm not crazy about the artwork, which is a little on the simplistic side. Ordinarily artistic style and coloration are a big part of my decision to buy. In this case it was decisively offset by the fact that this is a straightforward murder mystery with none of the aforementioned factors.

Thank you for this refreshingly different game!!!!!

This game exceeded my expectations. A great story line helps when you have played so many HOP games before. I enjoyed this game very much. The visuals, the plt and puzzles made it enjoyable.

I found this game to be fun and challenging. The graphics are very clear. Objects are not difficult to find in the HOP scenes. If you want you can play a bubble shooter game in the HOP. The puzzles are challenging but the walkthrough is clear on the objective.

This is the best of Dead Reckoning yet! The HOP's were more inventive than usual, and the whole story-line flowed with interest. Loved playing this one. Immerse yourself and enjoy!!
