I love games, especially the ones that challenge me. But, sometimes I just need to relax and this game is perfect for that! The soundtracks on all four of the Match 2 Card games are excellent, especially this one and the Halloween one. The game itself is fairly easy with a fair amount of strategy, but relaxing at the same time. I hope this company continues to write and produce these games, ...Show more

I love games, especially the ones that challenge me. But, sometimes I just need to relax and this game is perfect for that! The game is pretty self-explanatory with matching 2 of a kind. this is what I've learned: Always match all cards at the top before playing from the hand. Watch from which rows the cards have designs to expose those for points, but as mentioned earlier, the real point is to collect those STAR cards. This is what I haven't learned, 1) how do I tell how many STAR cards are in each level? 2) how many do I have to meet to move on (the pro level let me move on with a 54 out of 60). So I don't quite know the scoring yet, which I'd like for additional challenge. More clues in the intro would be good. Show less

Unlike other solitaire games, the object of the game is to collect stars by finding the gold cards. The object is to match pairs rather than go high-low/low-high. Each set of levels has a minimum number of stars you must collect before you can move on to higher sets. It's relatively challenging because the gold cards may be buried in the deck so you have to try to clear the cards above them. You do collect coins by matching them. These coins allow you to purchase shuffle, mulligan (undo), and joker power-ups.

There are two types of games you can play. The Newbie level allows you to redo any level in a set (in case you didn't collect the minimum number of stars) to go to the next set of levels. The pro level only allows you to redo the entire set so even though you may have collected enough stars in levels 1, 2, and 4, but not 3, 5, and 6, you have to start over from level 1.

Overall it's a good game. I'm stuck right now on newbie set 2, but I'm hoping to go farther. Show less

This is a Match 2 type of Solitaire game, which is basically a Mahjong style card game with an Egyptian theme. There's nothing different, no unique features, everything is exactly the same, exactly as the last Match 2, the same as the one before that and the one before that. They take the game and change the background and music and say, ta dah! and then offer it as a new game. I will admit that this is my least favorite type of solitaire game, I prefer the Higher/Lower type solitaire game which is more entertaining because you can make large chains and keep going until you run out of cards.

The object with this game is to remove all Golden Cards to receive a perfect score, there's no need to remove all the cards from the board, just the Gold cards, which is more difficult than you'd think. Some cards are Bonus Cards which give you +499 coins, a free Shuffle or a free Mulligan. These same bonuses can be purchased with the coins you earn playing the game.

There are 9 different card backs and 3 face card options to choose from. You can play the game in Newbie, which allows you to replay any level, or Pro, which only allows you to replay the entire pack. There are 12 different packs, and each pack has 10 levels. If you receive a perfect score, the points from that game are added to the next level, similar to bowling. Each level requires you to score a specific amount of points to unlock the next pack.

This isn't a horrible solitaire game, it's just a boring style of solitaire that offers nothing new and there are no incentives to make this an, "I've gotta have it" kind of game. Show less

I prefer solitaire games that let you play higher and lower, this one you have to match the cards.
Graphics are good and you can play easy or harder. It is not a bad game and when I just want to play a simple solitaire game, this one is ok, You earn money and can use it to buy additional undo's and such. I used a free punch on it.

Played only the demo but made it through two whole sets.
There is not much challenge here, and only goal is to collect all special cards in the deck by finding matching cards. Other than earning coins to buy shuffles/mulligans/jokers there is no progress to be made, is the same thing over and over again.

Additional quibble about gameplay that would prevent me from buying this game: the clicking action is awkward; you have to be very precise to click one card, make sure it turns blue, then click its pair, and the first one you click doesn't always stay selected. I found myself clicking more than once just to get a pair.

On the positive side: the visuals are clear and the music is fine; it is not an unpleasant experience, I just think there are better and more interesting solitaire games out there. Show less
