In this latest chapter of the Labyrinths of the World series, travel to the legendary Devil’s Tower and prevent an otherworldly evil force from destroying the world! This is the 6th installment of the Domini games series that takes you on another adventure playing the role of a "seeker" traveling to yet another world to battle unearthly evil. You play the role of Tritta and with all your success in the previous editions of the series it's time to initiate you sister Margaret now that she's ready to be a "seeker" too. Margaret has proven herself worthy and it's time for initiation. The only problem you face is an adversary who commands all known elements. Water, Fire, Air, and Earth. His name is Sanderion and he literally grows crystals to control uninitiated "seekers". His desire for ultimate power in the universe is a force like no other. Now he has chosen to claim The Crystal World. The Crystal Worlds army couldn't resist Sanderion's countless hordes. When the defenders of the Crystal World were defeated, Sanderion defiled the worlds heart with his darkness. Yikes! Now every crystal contains a piece of his curse and he uses these crystals to store the memories of enslaved peoples of the Crystal World. The fate of the planet rests with you and your sister (in training) Margaret. You must act fast and use all of your knowledge solving intense puzzles and super creative hidden object scenes before Sanderion turns both of you into crystal dust!!! The storyline isn't a new concept for this Sci-fi thriller but it is enjoyable nonetheless. The time it takes to complete the entire adventure is about 4 hours. I really enjoyed this newest edition of Labyrinths of the world even though their are other installments in the series one may enjoy more. Here's the list of the other editions in the series. Play them all if this genre of casual gaming is something you love. Cheers!

•Labyrinths of the World: Forbidden Muse (2015)
•Labyrinths of the World: Changing the Past (2016)

I must own about 5 games from this series now, and this one I just played didn't disappoint. The colorful scenery and characters are always a given. The gameplay was fairly easy to play. Although this game is lacking in the logic department, I love how Labyrinths of the World centers around controversial Ancient Alien icons of the world, Stonehenge, Easter Island and now Devil's Tower. Devil's Tower is the Nation's first National Monument, sitting across the state line of northeast Wyoming nestled in the Belle Fourche River Valley, and was made famous in the movie Close Encounters. The once hidden Tower has always been there, but over time, erosion stripped away the softer rock material, exposing the 1,267 foot megalithic granite stump. Devil's Tower is considered sacred by most Native Americans, who believe the grooves on the tower were caused by a giant bear while chasing several young Indian maidens. If you think about it, this is a perfect setting for this Alien themed game, and the perfect monument to disguise a portal to another alien world, Fractal-S.
How do you stop an alien that commands the power of air and earth, an alien that is invulnerable to all known weapons? The real answer is, you can't, so to make the game interesting, logic has to be thrown to the bear who clawed the grooves, otherwise, it would be a very sad game where nobody survives, right? Great, now that we've gotten our heads wrapped around that, this is the part that I explain about Herring, the talking horse! I must admit, this scenario was a BIG mistake. Not only did they make a beautiful horse talk, but they gave her a horrible, whiny, irritating and fake sounding voice. At first, I thought the way we would communicate was by putting together symbols to figure out what concerned her, in a broken, unspoken language, but nope, they had to give her an actual voice. In the Collector's Edition version, there are 64 hidden Pearls to find and use to buy items for the Secret Lair (I never understood the appeal of this feature?) 20 Morphing Unique Flowers of the World, and 20 hidden Native American Artifacts.
The Hidden Object Scenes are varied with Interactive List finds, Multiples of the same Objects, and Keywords in a Story finds. The items are fairly clear and recognizable. You can opt to play a CE Match 3 game instead of the HOP's.
The Mini Games are creative and there's a ton of them to boot, and are available in Easy and Hard modes. Below are brief descriptions of some of the games you'll encounter during the demo:
1) Swap beads to recreate the picture.
2) Restore the picture puzzle strips, 1 or 2 pieces at a time depending on difficulty.
3) Navigate through the maze without getting caught, interacting with the scene's objects and hiding in bushes.
4) Create a continuous connection by rotating rings, moving one ring may affect others.
5) Select and place gemstones onto purple spheres, the goal is to match blue lines from gemstones until they form a pattern.
6) Move the green gem to the exit, the gem will transport to a highlighted slot with each move.
7) Remove flower vines starting with the top most first.
8) Find and select the objects in the scene as shown on the flower petals.
9) Guide Herring while avoiding obstacles in her path.
10) Answer all the questions (about the game) correctly.

Great, long SE game with lots to accomplish. There are many hidden objects (also you can switch to match3) and the puzzles are very good. I especially liked the puzzle box. You can play the puzzles either easy or hard. You also have the typical map, task book, choice of play and transporting.

It took a while for me to get into the game - but, Oh boy, once I started I was hooked - it is not going to be one of the greats but it was entertaining with lots a good puzzles and decent HOPs. The graphics were excellent. Storyline was OK - not Pulitzer material but enough to keep a flow going. A good game to relax with and to get through a rainy afternoon.

The game starts with a scene showing our "big bad" trying to find a new planet to attack before discovering Earth. Meanwhile, you and your sister, Margaret, are taking a trip. She would like to join the Seekers and be one like you. You are to start her initiation. Before it can be completed, you are attacked by the evil god, Sanderion, and your sister, currently what is known as a seeker adept before initiation is complete, is captured. Can you rescue her and defeat the evil? Or is Earth doomed?
To be fair, the game was fun. There was a moment when I went "aww" at a cute little animal. There was a moment when I jumped a little at an unexpected event. I did enjoy the game. I just have a complaint about how predictable some moments were, and how the character we played as didn't seem to put the pieces together as quick. I also thought we were done after a certain point, but I was surprised by more. That bit isn't a complaint, as I did enjoy the new area.
The map offers you the ability to teleport to previous scenes, so it shaves some time off. The visuals were lovely, as was the sound. The one that voiced Margaret sounded a little... monotone, maybe? Well, at the beginning, anyway. She did better after her capture and then the later release. There were some difficult puzzles, possibly, but I felt that the majority weren't too difficult. At one point, they want you to rescue/release the goddess Tritta, and they throw in a plot twist between her and Sanderion that I didn't see coming.
As a game in the series, I did enjoy it. It's a nice game to play. If you're curious, try the demo and see what you think. Show less

The concept follows that of the other "Labyrinth" series; going to mysterious places around the world & ending up in some place that is in desperate need of your help. This time, along with helping other worlds, you also have to rescue the soul of your sister.
The HO's were varied & interesting, nothing too small or so blurry you couldn't make it out. You also have the opportunity to play Match 3 if you prefer. I did about half & half, just to keep my mind in the game.
The mini-games give you an option of casual or hard. Even on some of the casual settings, the games were rather hard. If you aren't a real fan of mini-games, you may want to steer clear of this one, because there's a lot of them. In fact, there are more mini-games than there are Hidden Object scenes.
There are 4 game settings, including 'custom', where you can set your own time limits on hints & skips. The least amount of time they will allow you is 15 seconds, so keep that in mind. There is also a valuable jump-map that shows you where you need to be.
As far as the re-play value is concerned, In my book, it'd be pretty low. I really had to struggle to stay interested in this game. Although there is challenge to the game, it moves slow in some places. If this is the last in the series, it's a huge disappointment. I've loved the Lab series, but they sure finished with a dud.
