I find the graphics crisp and beautiful, the music good, and the story interesting. I hope it steers some to go read the whole story in the Bible. The gameplay is relaxing, and that is just what I want these days. Thanks to the devs for continuing this series.

I applaud e-FunSoft for releasing another Bible-related Match 3 Game! (scroll down for the series list) To my knowledge, there's never been Faith or religious based Match 3 games offered here at the pond, before The Chronicles of Noah's Ark, so kudos, Big Fish as well! The storylines are always familiar and it's a great way to learn about them if they aren't familiar, not to mention that these games can be enjoyed by the whole family.

This is a swap type, Match 3 game that requires you swap two adjacent elements to create a group of at least three tiles. The goal of each level is to make matches on top of all Gold cells to break them and to gather a certain amount of resources, and collect The Holy Spirit tokens by dropping them to the bottom of the board. After each level, you will follow the storyline as told by Joseph himself, who always remains confident that God has chosen this path for him for a good reason. This particular story begins with the birth of Joseph, who is betrayed by his jealous siblings who sold him as an Egyptian slave!

Every match you make fills the Mana Meter and allows you to use bonuses such as a Hammer which removes a single tile or chain, a Potion Bomb which removes a 4 tile range as well as chains and gold cells, Horizontal and Vertical Lightning to take out an entire row or column, an Ankh which clears all of one type of tile on the board or a Scarab Bomb for an even bigger explosion. Large matches simply tell you how many tiles you matched but don't reward you with power-ups other than to fill up the Mana Meter more quickly.

There are the normal obstructions as found in most Match 3 games of chained tiles, fog, and crates etc., nothing unusual or different that I have encountered so far in the game. You will purchase upgrades to build after gathering enough resources (a star will alert you that you have gathered the required resources) and you must purchase all four upgrades to complete the chapter and open up the next of 5 Chapters of Joseph's trials and tribulations.

Although the Match 3 game is basically the same as all other Match 3 Games by this dev, it's a decent M3 game with a heartwarming message of Biblical proportions, enjoy!

I enjoy this series. We have to help Joseph. It is a nice story line. Helps to rebuild our faith in God.This is a lot like the Chronicles of Noah's Ark. If you like a game that takes some time you will enjoy this game.

it was a good story and you had to match to recharge the power ups just like most of the other M3 games. i did like it. there was a timeless level that i played on but it also had a moves level and a timed level.

First the basics …..

Color and sound quality were great. I DO, personally, turn off the sound fx and music after a few minutes.

The MAIN concept of the game is fairly self-explanatory ….. match gems ….. obtain money ….. use money to 'buy' upgrades and build your city.

So …. match 3 or more gems ….. chains need more than 1 match ….. destroy the spider …. which seems totally out of place in ...Show more

Completing the levels seems to take a VERY long time. I think I played about 8-10 levels before I timed out (the hour demo).

Now, the more important nuances of the game...….

The story has HUGE gaps in it..... HUGE … so unless you KNOW the story or are prepared to read it to fill in the blanks, this isn't going to be entertaining at all.

I kept the tutorial 'on' and, again, HUGE gaps in actual tutelage. Right from the beginning I had questions about certain power ups/boosters and what was happening on the board. Questions that never seemed to get answered.

I think this is going to be a short game because I was well into Chapter 2 (of 5 chapters) when I timed out.

I wanted to love this game. Even if it turned out to be really simplistic and meant for the younger set. Unfortunately, with the huge gaps in the story and unreasonably long time to complete the levels I couldn't be prompted to purchase it. IMO with some tweaks it couild be a great game .... a great learning tool. As it is .... not so much.

For this reason, I am not recommending this game to anyone.

If you like the Bible story you might enjoy the game; however, it gets boring after some time, as all you are doing is finding so many of a certain tile, or bringing objects down off the board. You do get upgrades: hammer, bombs, etc. to blow apart the usual chains, etc.

I don't recommend this game.

I might have bought this one except that there are spiders. I hate those things and did not see any options for getting rid of them in the game.
