What a nice, solid TM game. I rarely ever follow a storyline, but this was really cute, and I admit I got a kick out of it.
There are 40 levels in this game. I played on relaxed for the most part because I work from home at the same time, and jump on the game during breaks.

I like rescuing the workers. You get 3 per level. I found myself choosing the wrong direction a few times, and although you can eventually finish, you end up waiting on supplies. So yes this is a TM game, and if you play on expert, I'm sure you would need to choose your selections carefully.
The graphics are clear, bright and colorful. Normally I play a few levels and quit, but I kept wanting to play though my work schedule ;)
All in all, a nice TM game. Hope they make a sequel. Show less

Kids of Hellas is a new Time Management series brought to us from the creators of 12 Labours of Hercules, Alicia Quatermain and most recently, Archimedes. The graphics are really good, the game mechanics are fluent and the tasks require some strategy in order to beat the levels and earn all 3 Stars or Gold Status. There are 30 Achievement Trophies to earn (both versions) and the music is pleasant although it is basically the same music that is offered in all of Jet Dogs TM games. There are 3 difficulty modes to choose from, Easy, Normal or Difficult and each level in both the CE & SE versions have a hidden Puzzle Rune piece to find.
The only extras you get with the CE version is a Strategy Guide, 6 Wallpapers, and 5 Bonus Chapter Levels. I think this is a really fun Time Management game, and to me, this Standard Edition version is the route to go.

Kids of Hellas is a cute light-hearted Greek Mythology based story that takes place after a spiteful curse was cast upon the children of Zeus. Seems Uncle Hades was the instigator behind the spell that dumped the Kids of Hellas to fend for themselves here on Earth. As if the spell itself wasn't bad enough, the kids quickly discover that Zeus has no recollection of them, but I have a feeling that all will end well for the kids, and Uncle Hades will feel the wrath of his brothers' thunderous fury when all is said and done...let's find out, Time Management style :)
There are the usual Time Management tasks, collecting resources, repairing pit holes, cutting down trees, removing wood, repairing bridges and fixing various buildings to get a more consistent supply of food, wood, stone gold, mana wells etc. There are also unusual tasks, one in particular that I enjoyed, shaving the sheep for their Golden wool!
As you progress you will receive Bonuses that will recharge by collecting Stars left behind on some of the tasks you complete. These are the usual tasks that speed up workers or quickly refill resources or allow the kids to store more resources in their backpacks. The Bonus Icons are located on the right side and usually have more than one type of resource available. You can click on the first Bonus that refills or wait for the second one to fill, it just depends on the level goals as to which one is more important, in other words, there may not be a need for faster workers if you don't have enough resources to assign a worker to a task that requires resources that aren't ready at the time. If you are a fan of time management games, you know the choices are few and far between. I've seen very boring games get 5 stars when I can't even stand to play them for an hour.
This game is good, very good. No standing around, no slow moving in the beginning. Even the first level starts fast.
Cons: It moves like the games before it. Even the puzzle pieces look the same. No new elements. No

Cons: It moves like the games before it. Even the puzzle pieces look the same. No new elements. No fun twists.
Pros: It moves very fast, even at the beginning. If you are a TM lover, you will like that you don't have to wait 10 levels for the characters to run. That being said, I can't really tell the difference when I hit the "run faster" upgrade.

Played relaxed first then casual after. Playing relaxed doesn't give you any stars. The games states that completing all the levels with 3 stars will build something. Nothing was ever built in the SE version. I completed all of the achievements but never made the final 'completed all the achievements' trophy. In the CE, there's a 'theft' achievement that seems to be missing from the SE version. Looks like the developers just slapped the SE version together from the CE version without changing the programming. Could have been 5 stars if everything worked. The CE really didn't merit the higher price. I recommend it with reservations for anyone really desperate for a TM game preferably on a BOGO or sale date. Show less

No, it's not a continuation of the supremely challenging Kids of Hellas from 12 Labours of Hercules/expert mode. You pick up, build and achieve various tasks, which you can do timed or untimed. Cute little details like the sheep with the golden fleece, and ancient Roman themes. Graphics are not as well-defined as they were in the AQ series but are decent enough, with trees gently swaying and water rippling.
You can turn off the tutorial, music and sound effects and use your system pointer. .This Standard Edition may be a little easier on the wallet, esp. on a sale. If you like Alicia Quatermain, you might well give this a try. Show less

I bought this on sale and did not regret the purchase. Game-play is smooth and pleasant. The challenge level was just okay. Levels in the middle were harder than levels at the end.
A few things didn't make sense to me. Updating the camp doesn't add a worker and I could never tell what benefit I was getting from it.

It's just another Step And FetchIt. Why it's called Time Management is beyond me. All you do is gather whatever there is in a path. There really is no skill level. I like Time Management but all we're getting are these, Match3 or Hidden Objects. There really is no challenge. The graphics are colorful. This is more for children than adults with gaming experience.
I don't recommend this game.
