I don't understand why the previous reviewers gave Faerie Solitaire such a low rating!
I love it and made it a buy for me!
There is a variety of challenge, strong, colorful graphics and a charming story! What more do you want out of a solitaire game...?? Hello!

Only tried a few levels, but LOVE IT SO FAR! Besides the great simple but cute and clean card faces, the additions to this one up/one down are very appealing.

I have always loved faerie solitaire except for the blurry graphics. This remastered version is 100% visually improved. The game play and layout are pretty much the same as the original. It's fun to find all the eggs and hatch them out. I was able to do it once in the original and hope to do it again in this version.

I recommend this game!

Loved the game when it first came out and have played it multiple times. Yes solitaire has been around but you are rewarded for making long chains and have to meet goals to go forward. I wasn't a fan of "Harvest" because it was a Match 2 Cards type of solitaire, but I LOVED the Faerie concept of releasing Faeries and finding and hatching Dragon Eggs of various worth (common or rare) "Remastered" brought me the best of both, a Higher/Lower type of Solitaire with all the Faeries and Dragons a fantasy fan could ask for. I wasn't a fan of "Harvest" because it was a Match 2 Cards type of solitaire, but I LOVED the Faerie concept of releasing Faeries and finding and hatching Dragon Eggs of various worth (common or rare) "Remastered" brought me the best of both, a Higher/Lower type of Solitaire with all the Faeries and Dragons a fantasy fan could ask for. The only complaint I have is that the levels are fairly short and easy to complete on the first attempt...but certainly not a deal-breaker.

Like it's predecessor, right from the get-go, it has some really cool features and tutorials, starting with a clever Random Name Tab and a satirical caution notification against the forces of Dark Magic. You can even change the color of the card suits and enable/disable the Power-ups. There are 30 Achievements to earn, a Quickplay option that allows you to replay the Adventure levels (the main game) a Challenge option that gives you extra levels with super-hard hands, and a Faerie Land option that lets you earn "Pure" (Faerie Currency) which is used to buy Power-ups, or replay levels when you don't remove all cards. (optional). You can also replay the Story's Cutscenes in the Theater, and there is a Statistics Tab as well.

Some levels have colorful Hidden Mysterious Eggs that you'll have to wait patiently for them to hatch before discovering what you've just become the proud parent of. Once discovered, you must "Activate" the egg and you'll be notified when the egg is ready to hatch, which is a feature that really piqued my interest. Each egg varies, some are common and some are rare, pretty cool isn't it? You will also find various resources such as stone, wood, and magic resources required to Evolve and take care of your pets. As you play Solitaire levels the Energy you earn is used to release a new Faerie at the end of the Solitaire rounds, and she usually has a bit of an attitude...I love attitude!

There is a lot going on with this game. You have 9 levels in each segment. You must follow the criteria requested for each level and then you can release the fairy. You also have "pets" which appear as eggs. Fun for the entire family.

The overall game is adorable and relaxing to play. I just wish there was a purpose to collecting the pets and faeries. Maybe have them give an extra undo, add extra experience or boost your chance to find the needed mats to upgrade them. It's fun to evolve the eggs and then the pets but besides having them to look at in a separate screen, what's the point?

I like playing this game but I am annoyed when I have to use all my undos because the game plays cards I do not want to play. This feature should be removed in a future revision.

I had been sent the PC remastered version by the developers as my original game was glitching on my iPad. I was very disappointed with the remastered version as it is much too simplified and not nearly as challenging as the original. I still play the original on my PC as I've always enjoyed that version better. It's always been my go-to game when I don't know what I want to play next.

I don't recommend this game.
