Even though I too am so tired of magic tats and such I found this game overcoming that obstacle with it's graphics and intrigue. I loved it from the get go. The puzzles weren't hard but a little challenging in figuring out how to play them. I don't like to comment on the game play (others do it so much better) But when I find a game I can really enjoy I feel I need to submit my opinion. Same as ...Show more

Plenty of HOPS - 12? Enjoyable to play. The PUZZLES were varied and quite unusual from say a couple of years ago.
The MUSIC was so good I turned it up! I liked the background sounds of humming and general noises of machinery and other city sounds –it was relaxing.
The BONUS GAME was good, but I think the morphing objects and collection of little-red riding hood doll from scenes didn't really make it CE worthy. Unless you particularly want all the selection of goodies you get in the EXTRAS, I think the SE would be a fine choice.
WHAT I DIDN'T LIKE:
Right after the demo, and lasting around 30 mins, there is a lull in the story. It's a bit of an outlier – and not in sync with the atmosphere of the city. I was relieved when the story reverted to the more obviously city-based story. Show less

The setting is modern day! I know I can't be the only one sick to death of escaped evils stealing villagers/fiances/children to become "whole again," or to rule the known universe. So far, no witches or black foggy spirits!

And guess what puzzle lovers? The demo was just chock-full of puzzles! Not just puzzles, but ORIGINAL PUZZLES! Yes! I played puzzles I have never played before! And they were not all easy! Some took thought and time. Not a dumbed down same ol' game. As far as the demo goes, the puzzles are integrated into the story, they have reasons to exist. Don't you just hate it when it looks like a puzzle was just tossed in to put a puzzle in?

How about those HOS? Well, there are quite a few lists, but in fresh locations. Watching the news on television, while in a phone booth calling 911. I read a comment that the HOS were faded and cloudy. Well, we are watching a television in a dive of a bar in a terrible part of town, the signal isn't coming in well! Later, we've been poisoned, our vision IS a bit foggy! I particularly enjoyed the HOS that was the apartment mail box. There are well done morphs in the HOS.

If you are tired of the usual re-cycled games of late, give this one at least the demo try. Players wanted something new, here it is! Enjoy! Show less

Eipix finally came through with flying colors on this one. They should be proud. Mind you, I'm sure there may be folks who don't agree, but again, for me, it's what I've been looking for in a game, and in the past I have been hard on Eipix because I know their potential.

I'm two-thirds through this CE version. Lots of things to do. The HOPS are varied and have morphing objects within them. Pretty cool.

The graphics are fabulous. The music is great. The special effects are even better. Wonderful movement between scenes. The voice overs are excellent. The map is terrific, and if you don't have the patience to use it, you can use the hint button as a navigation tool. I don't use the strategy guide but it's there in case you need it. Plenty of collectibles, which, in truth, I need to pay attention to because I always forget.

The mini-games and puzzles are really neat--some are easy and some are challenging.

I do like reading the material devs put together and this is no exception. I love Eipix' sense of humor. Corny as it may be, the following got a chuckle out of me:

"When the night falls,
stay away from halls,
go and find your bed,
remember to play dead,
don't even scratch an itch,
for here comes, the snow witch."

I highly recommend this great game. Try it or buy it. We all have different tastes but you just might love it! Way to go, Eipix! Show less

Our first ‘account’ turns out to be a Red Riding Hood variation, not by Hans Christian Anderson but one of the well known folk tales of the Brothers Grimm. But not so fast, let’s see, what’s on offer.

The demo pushed me into an adventure with an astonishing mix of ingredients. We have means to gain superpower, a magic ink, used for tattoos. We have a dangerous city, in which more and more people are missing, fabled connections play a role. Our friend turns out to be not what we thought, but seems to play a role in the fabulous entanglements of the city.

So not just Little Red Riding Hood meets the big bad wolf but an intricate story. Thriller characteristics combine with magical components, the opponent has magic powers, which he receives by rather secular means, a sort of drug (the exotic ink).

We play as Chris Andersen. Our friend Rachel has moved and we haven’t seen her in a while. On our meeting in a bar in her new neighbourhood, she is kidnapped. But this is not a ‘normal’ abduction. Magic is part of it from the beginning. On the basis of this rather simple story, we get on the trail of a kind of conspiracy. Of course we are also in the sights of the masterminds, because we have seen too much.

Plot unravels very fast and we go forward and get clues by stepping into varying HOS and many puzzles. Obivious even at the beginning: it is about Little Red Riding Hood, but the good old wolf seems to have upgraded...... and I want to know, where this is going. Show less

Eipix has acquired some new talent. Great game and new story line. Enjoyed the whole game, no slow spots and a good length. Some of the games out lately have just been too short and end so abruptly. Collectables, morphs, and all the bells and whistles that attract in a CE. Great graphics, HOPs, and mini-games (interesting, but not too difficult). Was a good buy.

This game is amazing. First I noticed that the graphics were beyond outstanding. It all looks so realistic and beautiful! The story was really good. When I finished the game, it felt like it was finished. Great plot, very tensive. Had a few good jump scares too. It'll be worth the money for sure!

It's my new favourite!

I thought this game was full of adventure and that it was fun. It's based on a Wolf theme. It has lots of pigs and even reference to little red riding hood, but more wolf then any thing. I wasn't expecting this but got a great surprise! Lots of "put your thinking cap on" puzzles with a story line that keeps you intrigued the whole game!
