Graphics are really good, I have been to paris and places are right on. The really cool thing about this game is the 360 degree aspect of it. You use the mouse and look all around the scene for the objects. Everywhere. Fun stuff in the pictures ie. dinos and space ships in old paintings. Challenging for some, I found it just fun, not to hard, not to easy.
I recommend this game!

Here it is ... YEARS after I first purchased a 360 game, and I am still trolling through the "all games" list to see if these developers have released anything new. These were one of the most fun and most engrossing hidden object puzzles. You felt like you were actually there in the room - looking around for stuff. There was also another title set in Rome.

Whoever you are, and whoever you all are working for now, please come back together and get started on another one of these. Especially with all the innovations in technology and graphics, I bet a new one would be an instant hit... like 118 weeks on the bestseller list! Show less

One of the first games my mother bought because we had been to Paris and found it spot on. I played on her computer and went home and joined the club and bought this game. In this game, Travelogue 360 Paris, you go on 20 "tours" of various locations in and around Paris. In this game, Travelogue 360 Paris, you go on 20 "tours" of various locations in and around Paris. There are 3-4 parts to every tour, and in each part you need to locate "souvenirs" using a 360 degree ball and directional arrows. There are two other games like this, but neither one uses the word "travelogue" in the title. You can find them if you use "360" for a search. This game has some wonderful elements: 1) You can see some highlights of Paris. 2) Rather than showing you exactly where something is, the hint button only gives you a gauge, and as you scroll around it becomes more green the closer you are to the object. There are also some elements that are not as good as one of the other games, "Rome: Curse of the Necklace". 1) There is lots more repetition in this game. Not only the same scenes over and over, but sometimes the same objects in those scenes. 2) The mini games at the end of each tour are almost always either a jigsaw puzzle or fitting things into a suitcase. The jigsaws vary, however, in that the pieces are different shapes such as grapes or croissants. In this game there are only 5 hints per tour, so be sure to save them up. If you use them all, you're just stuck until you can find all the objects on your own. Some of the tours, especially toward the end of the game, have 7 or 8 parts and up to 14 souvenirs to find in each part. All in all, I liked this game and gave it 4 stars. I had fun playing it, in spite of all the repetition. Show less

The graphics were ok, not great. There were no voice overs but a LOT of voices ... in the background .... which made me very dizzy. As did the maneuvering around. There's a compass ball at the bottom of the screen which you need to move up, down, left and right to move around the screen ... up to the sky .... down to the ground .... and all around. This is how you find the items on your list. I got very dizzy moving around this way as well.
Once you find all your items, you get a stamp and are on your way to the next stop.
If you like games that are strictly hidden object games, you will love this game. You will also love it if you are a beginner. Experts and Intermediates might enjoy playing it on the "timed" mode for a greater challenge. There are only 2 modes of difficulty - timed and relaxed. No journals, etc. There appear to be a limited number of hints and no way (that I could tell) to earn more.
For the above reasons, this won't be a purchase for me. But, I will recommend it because ... well .... what do I know anyway - lol.
Enjoy! Show less

As soon as I came across having to pack a suitcase a second time....and the second time was with a million items, I quit the game. There are no skips for puzzles and therefore....no buy for me. I don't feel like spending so much time with puzzles I care nothing about and that are annoying. The other puzzles were jigsaws that I came across that you had to rotate pieces. You also have to rotate pieces to fit into a dumb suitcase. It was aggravating and too time consuming.
The concept of the scrolling of the scenes was interesting and I was enjoying it, except for the no skip for puzzles. I saw no way to replenish hints and I accidently hit the hint button and lost one out of the nine you are given. You can zoom in and out with your mouse. There is also a slider device to zoom into a scene. The only way you can scroll the total scene is by using the ball in the middle and I found it annoying that you cannot use your mouse to scroll the scene. The items are large enough to see and there is a relaxed mode of Tourist in the beginning of the game that you can choose.
I have the Rome, Curse of the Necklace game which is the same concept of panning the scenes and I like it better except that items are so small and much harder to find than in this one. There is more of a challenge in that one, but the mechanics of gameplay are much more convenient than this one and you can skip puzzles. I would have liked to been able to try the Mystery of London version, but it did not work on my pc.
The Travelogue games are different and I did like the idea of the scrolling of scenes, but I have to have a skip for puzzles in order to buy a game. It ruins the game for me without it. Show less
