I was wondering whether to try this game, what with the previous review & seeing the graphics etc. But I am so glad I did try it.
Yes the graphics are simple, but do the job, & if you are in the festive time of year, this is great to get you in the mood, & if you are in the midst of a summer heatwave, this will make you feel nice & cool !!! - the colours are soothing, & the snowflakes which fall ...Show more

Yes the graphics are simple, but do the job, & if you are in the festive time of year, this is great to get you in the mood, & if you are in the midst of a summer heatwave, this will make you feel nice & cool !!! - the colours are soothing, & the snowflakes which fall continuously.
This is a ball & brick/iceblocks type of game, & it took me a few minutes to adjust to the free/speed of the ball.
I loved the chime type Xmas music, which did actually pause from time to time, so you get a bit of respite if needed.
The sound effects are delightful eg reindeer snort, when you lose a ball/life, the ice cracking etc.
There are the usual slow, very fast, extra balls, size of candy sticks/bar etc, & many coins to catch when you hit a snowflake in a cube, this can get rather busy at times. Then there are the gifts which open & later release a gift all of which you need to catch to add to your score.
That was as far as I have played & the hour is not up.
If you want to relax - especially @ Xmas or in a heatwave, then this is for you. In spite of the simple graphics, I really enjoyed this game & it certainly kept me focused!!!! Show less

FUN CHRISTMASY BRICK BREAKING GAME!!!!!

Absolutely the BEST themed brick breaking game EVER!!! Gold coins raining down! Extra lives in the form of HUGE hearts (even I missed those - lol), multiple balls, fast balls, s ... l .....o ...... w balls - lol! Balls that did EVERYTHING!! But the best balls were those that broke through ice and got us a gift ---- the inside of which was always a surprise!!!

Unfortunately, there were also things I disliked about the game, which made it a definite non-purchase for me. There was no way to adjust the sound of the music in "options". It was either "on" or "off". Even turning down the volume on my computer had no effect. The volume stayed exactly where it was weird - too loud!

As much as I loved the upbeat Christmas music (and sang along sometimes) the inability to change the volume was a definite deal breaker for me). Too bad because it was definitely an awesome game!

I would recommend this for anyone who doesn't mind loud music - lol ..... difficulty levels notwithstanding! It's reminiscent of a good snowball fight!

This is Pong 1.2, which makes this the second video game ever created. I loved this [the original] game and spent hours and hours playing, but only because there was nothing else to play. These graphics are only a slight improvement over the originals.....barely. I can't believe this isn't "free to play", since it has to be public domain by now.
