I love these puzzles...always have, always will. I love these puzzles...always have, always will. Some of the entries in this genre have featured puzzles that could not be solved using pure logic, which is, after all, the "raison d'etre" of Griddlers, Nonograms, Paint by Numbers...whatever you want to call them. During the free trial I played through the first seventeen levels. There were several puzzles where I thought I was stumped, only to look again and find that I had missed a completed row, or hadn't crossed out a square that couldn't be used, and was then able to solve without mistakes. For me, the essence of these puzzles is solvability. I am "assuming" that the rest will follow suit as soon as I buy the full version. Show less

This is a fairly standard grid game. You can buy hints with coins you earn buy solving the grids. The levels get pretty challenging right away, so save those coins!

I enjoyed the game, although the grids didn't look like anything to me. There really wasn't a storyline, which is fine - not every puzzle game has to have an adventure.

If you enjoy challenging grids, this is a good choice.

I recommend this game!

This Mahjong game promises to broaden your intellectual abilities and to exercise your mind. It certainly does all that because the puzzles present a nice challenge, but I've come to expect multi-colors and I want the puzzles to form some sort of picture when they're completed.

This Mahjong game promises to broaden your intellectual abilities and to exercise your mind. It certainly does all that because the puzzles present a nice challenge, but I've come to expect multi-colors and I want the puzzles to form some sort of picture when they're completed.

There are 6 different Beach Locations and each beach has 20 different levels. You can earn up to 3 stars per level depending on how many mistakes you make, but you must earn at least one star to unlock the next level. There are 15 Summer Trophies to earn as well.

Every filled cell contains coins, some contain bonus coins. The coins can be used in the Shop to buy 2 Starting Hints, the right to make a Mistake x3, refill Hints on this level, and you can use your coins to unlock other levels if you haven't earned enough stars.

This isn't a bad Mahjong game, it just didn't thrill me personally. I think I'll stick with Mr. Penguin. Show less

Based on playing the demo, this is a very basic griddler with nothing to make it stand out from the crowd.

Warning: You do not have to click on the hint to get it to work. Just running your pointer over the hint button uses a hint. I couldn't understand why I didn't have any hints available when I knew I hadn't used any. I always move my pointer off the board between plays to avoid any ...Show more

Warning: You do not have to click on the hint to get it to work. Just running your pointer over the hint button uses a hint. I couldn't understand why I didn't have any hints available when I knew I hadn't used any. I always move my pointer off the board between plays to avoid any misclicks, and I was watching one time when I did this, and I moved over the hint and it used one. This is a very bad thing because the grids get hard quickly and you will need all the hints you can accumulate before you have to start buying them.

The description of the game says that for correctly filled tiles the numbers are crossed off at the side of the grid. This is not totally true. If you fill in a square that is in the middle of other squares that need to be filled in, the number is not marked off at the side of the grid. So if you have a series of 2-1-2-1, and you mark the inside 1 or 2 correctly, it will not cross off the number at the side. If you have plenty of room before and after the 1 or 2 you have marked to fill in the other squares, you have no way of knowing if the 1 or 2 you have marked off is the first 1 or 2 or the second 2 or 1.

No blank tiles are filled in automatically, even when a row is completed. So you have to click every square except maybe the last one or two at the end of the grid. I find this totally unnecessary and either means the developers are too lazy to add this additional programming or they use it as a way to make the game longer. This game will be plenty long without this tactic, with the typical 20 grids per each location and 10 or more locations.

Another irritation is that the number one and the number seven looked almost identical.

The graphics are ok and I played without sound, my usual method.

This game is not a buy for me but I'm sure it will appeal to other griddlers. Show less

2 stars ONLY because the music was not annoying and the fact they bothered to make use of both left and light mouse button. On top of that the challenge was desent.

The remaining 3 stars was not given because it's poorly made.
Only 1 color, poor pics etc etc.

You're lucky you even got 2 stars.

I don't recommend this game.

I played the demo, and I dislike the game immensely. Right before each level, is this annoying message about the game, including definitions for rows and columns and something about how you can go to the tutorial levels if you need help. This gets really repetitive, and is there even if you get three stars on each level, without ever using hints. The pictures you make are not labeled, and sometimes it's hard to tell what you made there on the grid. Also, it was difficult to see the mark you make for when you know the square is not going to be in play, it is a very light grey color. None of these squares are filled in automatically, when you finish a row or column with correct answers--you have to do it yourself. I'm passing on the game, because this isn't my sort of logic game, when I need to get hints! Show less

One color- one dimension- the puzzles do not make a picture, Is a very old fashioned boring sort of griddler.
