Where Angels Cry 2 is Different and really drew me in to the story!!!

This time Vatican sent you to Spain where inquisition gone to the birds. At least not whole Inquisition but one particular inquisitor – Brother Augustine in the small isolated village called Portonero. It’s 13th century so it’s almost normal to be obsessed with witch hunts and burn any beautiful girl alive, but… just almost. You were sent there to stop him, but are you brave enough for this assignment! Augustine won’t just give up and he is a trained swordsman just as you are. Can you win the battle, or you will be killed or even burned as a warlock? Seek out the evil witch (wolf queen) Miguela and destroy her plans or discover more about her? Along the journey you meet a host of character's who ask you to complete several quest's, most notable is finding Diego, the son of Delores. Delores is the wife of the sheriff who is murdered by the insane Inquisitor at the beginning of your journey. The story really begins to draw you in when you reach this chapter of the journey. I found this edition not only enigmatical and a divine ride, but included more than enough stunning sublevels, encouraging sound and pleasing to the eye art scenes. Though Where Angels Cry 2: Tears of the Fallen is a pretty standard Adventure / Puzzle game, it includes lots of grand features that will hale your attention. The combiner feature of collecting several pieces to make up an inventory item was clever, even if it's been done before. This is a very well made game and I'm having a lot of fun playing it. It's different and a little more of an adventure game although it does have hidden objects. The puzzles are fun, and not too hard, the graphics are beautiful. It's a buy for me.

I am pleasantly surprised. The HO's may look really elementary at first glance, but it actually took me awhile to find the items on the list. The mini-games aren't difficult but I'm only an hour into the game and they seem to be getting more challenging as I progress. I NEVER pay attention to the storylines, but this one got me. The graphics are really, really beautifully done ---- very realistic.
Buy this game. And tell EVERYONE about it ---- this one deserves all the praise and hoopla we can muster up!! Show less

The story is a trip back in time. The art work is really pretty and the music is a good choice. The HO scenes are pretty straight forward, no surprises but I really like the way an inset opens up for tasks to show you an outline of the objects you're looking for to complete it. I really am enjoying this game. There are a lot of varieties of hidden object games and I find that it is challenging in many ways. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS GAME to those who enjoy hidden object games or someone who enjoys a challenge.

This review is based on the trial only. I plan on buying it right away. It is unique and clever. The story line is very good and I'm interested in what comes next. Voice overs fit the characters nicely. That is very important to me.

As a history enthusiast, I really enjoyed the story in this game and appreciated the beautiful scenery, quality voiceovers, and period-appropriate music. I liked that fact that the inventory items were used logically so I was able to play the entire game without using the Hint button.

I particularly liked the arcade-style minigames where your eye-hand coordination skills were needed to fight the villain with a sword, win an archery contest, and dodge broken trees in the swamp.while paddling a boat (That one was so hard I ended up having to skip it because I tried dozens of times and the suspenseful music got me so wound up I finally couldn't take it anymore!)

The HO scenes were bright and clear. I would have preferred them to be more thematically appropriate and a little more interactive, though, like finding one thing to use to find something else. At least the objects were of decent size and not inordinately obscured so I didn't think this should diminish my overall rating of the game. I found the logic puzzles challenging, too, without being overly frustrating. Several of them were in groups of three with each instance more difficult than the one before.

I will definitely add this game to my favorites list! Show less

Wonderful gameplay. Great voiceovers which fit the characters well. This game was long and never got dull. Nice HO scenes and lots of puzzles--some new. The artwork was beautiful and the music was soft building to excitement for danger or battle.

An all over enjoyable game. If I have a great time playing, the game will surely get five stars every time. I will replay Where Angels Cry very soon.
