We Have To Return These Eggs Before The Dragons Awaken!

For ages Dragons have pledged their allegiance to humans in exchange for their protection. Two weeks ago, however a band of greedy thieves stole the Dragon's 4 elemental eggs, and fear and pain quickly began to spread throughout the world. The Queen of Darkness was alerted by the Shadows and was able to recover the eggs unharmed. Time is of the essence so the Queen summoned the help of Alrik the Wizard once again, to help us safely return the eggs before the Awakening of the Dragons.

This will be a long journey, 200 levels to be specific! You can play in a Relaxed untimed mode or in Normal, timed mode. The object of this Match 3 game is to swap tiles to create a match of 3 or more identical tiles over all of the Gold cells to beat the level. You can earn up to three gold stars for each level, and I love the fact that there is a "restart" button available to allow you to restart the level at will, even halfway through the level! As you progress, some of the tiles are obstructed with Earth and Planks, Chains and Double Chains, Metal and some are even frozen requiring matches to be made either next to them or match whatever icon is inside the obstruction, and then another match to break the gold cell. You can earn 10 different Trophies for milestone Achievements earned such as earning a specific amount of points or using powerups a specific number of times.

Large Matches will earn a Powerup on the board such as Bombs, Spells and directional Rockets than will explode and destroy several surrounding tiles when you swipe the powerup in any direction. With the money you earn, you can build buildings along your journey that give you advantages, Stamina increase to help during Battle Modes, Earn more gold, Spells to use during battle and In Game Powerups which include Lightning balls etc. that will randomly give you a powerup during each level.

There are Battles to fight along the way (every 10 levels) this is a Match 3 free for all where you make matches as quickly as possible while collecting a specific item by matches to fill the attack bar and use your powers to destroy the enemy before he destroys you. You can use the Fireball to attack, Freeze your enemies moves, Heal yourself or use lightning to destroy more tiles. You can "Surrender" if you don't want to play this mode, but I thought it was really fun.

Every ten levels (alternating 5 levels from battle mode) you play Dig Match 3. In this mode you are challenged to make matches next to each dirt tile to dig your way through the board in search of hidden Statues. There are also Mini Games to play occasionally, Hidden Object Scenes with listed items, or swapping squares to create a picture. All in all this third installment of Mystika is an awesome Match 3 game with so many unique features that it's impossible not to find something you like, enjoy! Show less

I think it took me all of 15 minutes playing the demo to realize that this game is definitely a "must have" in my collection. The graphics are colorful and pleasing. The storyline grabs you from the very beginning with the element of a HOP/adventure style. The match 3 element can be played in timed and relaxed and the relaxed mode is a must for me. I cannot rate the sound quality as I do not play ...Show more

This is a really good, fun game, combining HO with Match 3 beautifully. There are battles to be won and treasures to locate, challenging without being impossible. It's about time we had some new games like this one.

This is a great little match 3 game, with puzzles, HOG, and other challenges thrown in for good measure! Makes for a nice change and a fun game.

I've been waiting a long time for a really good Match3, one that doesn't have huge boards - I soon get bored when I play those. Although I got all 3 stars in every level I played (22 OR 23), there is some challenge from the beginning - I felt motivated to complete each one as fast as I could and get those 3 stars every time, wanted the best score I could achieve. With 200 levels, I'd say the boards slowly get more challenging. This is one that (so far at least) I want to play timed. When the going gets tough, I can switch to relaxed. I'm pretty certain this is a game I'm going to play over and over again for a while, will definitely want to finish in timed mode. I haven't been this excited about a M3 for a long time! Show less

I avoided buying this at first this since I have the other two Mystika and frankly wasn't impressed. This game is far superior to the other two. It can be played timed or casual, has match three and HOGs which were enjoyable and loved the battles. The music was soothing and not intrusive. This is a great game to play. It combines match 3 and hogs. treasures to find ,buildings to build. A lot of interaction going on. Great for the whole family. This game is a keeper.
