I love this series! It has all the bells and whistles! The story is good, the visuals are pleasant, and you do need to rush around a lot.
There are collectables (2) on each level, photos to take, and a built in strategy guide.
You can skip the dialogue if you just want to get on with it quite quickly too.

I love this series! It has all the bells and whistles! The story is good, the visuals are pleasant, and you do need to rush around a lot.

I haven't played too far in, and it is so far pretty much like the others in the series..but hey..It's classic clearing, racing around, building, upgrading, and strategy laden time management as I like it!
Thanks BigFish for listening to us that so many of us really enjoy this style.
What's not to like other than the annoying voice of "how interesting" which you can turn off anyway.
I recommend this game and the others in the series as great fun and a good challenge level. Show less

You made my day on this rainy day. It's your usual build, remove obstacles, eliminate those annoying animals, it's everything you could ask for in a TM game.

In Chase for Adventure: The Lost City, Ann Windsdoe retraced her father's archaeological expedition in Madagascar, where he disappeared over 20 years ago. Unfortunately, she wasn't able to locate her father and returned to the university empty-handed. In the second episode, Ann embarked on another adventure to locate The Iron Oracle, an ancient device that is able to locate anyone in the world. Ann and her sidekick Jim, along with the help of the Oracle, have pinpointed her fathers' whereabouts, imprisoned within the hollow Earth! It's time to Chase another Adventure, as we travel to Easter Island, The Devil's Triangle and Stonehenge, to uncover the gate which leads to the Underworld!

I was one of the few reviewers who actually loved the last game in this series, The Iron Oracle, it wasn't the best TM game I've played, but I enjoyed the fact that the TM tasks are somewhat different, and they have an interesting storyline. I'm not a fan of a TM game offered in a CE at twice the cost of an SE, but I gotta give this dev kudos for including some awesome collectibles and hidden items. There are also Ancient Vases in some of the scenes, which reveal artifacts and other interesting objects. When you spot a vase, you'll need to click on it 3 times to break it open, and they are easily overlooked because there are so many items in each scene.

As I mentioned earlier, the tasks and goals are different in this TM series, for example, you have to first find a Shovel to dig up piles of sand, and you have to find a Lantern before you can explore the Ancient Barrows. Some of the sites have a few Camera Icons that are located near important landmarks or other discoveries, and you have to place the camera first, then you have to take the picture, if there is more than one object to photograph, you'll have to click on the camera again, in order to move it to the new site. You will need to strategically construct the correct buildings that will give you the resources you need such as housing for Workers, Sawmills for Wood Canteens to supply Food, or Pumping Stations for Water. Some supplies are constantly being delivered in small amounts by helicopter, mostly food or wood.

There is a Bonus Meter at the bottom of the screen that has to fill up before you can use the bonuses, such as, Faster Workers, Extra Resources, more storage etc. There is also a meter at the top, which shows you your level Star position, but any level can be replayed if you don't earn all 3 Stars. There are 3 modes of difficulty available, a Relaxed, un-timed mode as well as a Normal or Professional mode for experts.

This Collector's Edition version has 8 Wallpapers, 8 Concept Art pictures, 20 Photo Album pictures, High Score Tracker, 28 Hidden Relics, 55 hidden Spheres, 55 hidden Amulets, 45 Main Levels + 10 CE Bonus Levels and a built in Strategy Guide, enjoy!

I played the demo so this review is based on that. I had fun playing this, did find some visuals a little hard to see on the first try, usually the bushes. Overall it was a fun demo. I will wait to buy this with 2 credits as I am not overwhelmed with the desire for it but would recommend this game to any TM lover.

I recommend this game!

You need to find collectibles and artifacts in each scene...some of the levels are a wee bit difficult but with a little bit of brain power they're doable !!! The only changes we can see is the added caves for Anne to explore and the shovel...I was hoping for a little more changes but that didn't happen.

As always the artistry was exceptional they put a lot of ingenuity and effort in each scene...beautifully done !!! Music fit the scene and was quite pleasant !!!

Try the Demo and see for yourself...I don't think you'll be upset with your decision !!! Have fun all !!! Show less

This game is much too short !! I paid double for 10 extra levels ?? Wow. This is a level deficient(?) game even for a SE. 45 for SE, 55 for CE.
