I love the challenge of this solitaire series, the gameplay, and the artwork. I've enjoyed the dark foreboding backgrounds and now really like this new, Christmas-themed one with the pretty, uplifting accompanying music. I love the fact that I can leave the game and not have to worry about remembering the storyline or my place in the game. This is relaxing and can be challenging later in the game. ...Show more

Boring and repetitive. If it takes 14 tries to pass level six and you still don't make it? Hard pass. Frustrating, rather than relaxing.

It never ceases to amaze me of the vast amount of cookie cutter games this dev spews out, yet they never bother to change or even tweak any feature! It's the same exact format, the same exact card layouts, the same exact repetitive music, the same exact mechanics and features. The only thing they have to do is change the background images (and sometimes they don't even change that!) change the title (which usually only involves adding the number 2 or 3 after the title) and bam, it's ready to mass produce to unsuspecting gamers.

Once again, this is a Solitaire version where the game ends once all of the Gold Cards have been removed, even if a hundred regular cards remain. I want to be able to remove ALL of the cards on the board to receive a perfect score, not just some of them! I will play a level over and over until I achieve my goal of what I consider to be a perfect score, removing every single card. For the life of me, I can't understand why they can't make an adjustment to allow the option of continuing to play for points once all of the gold cards have been removed, how difficult can that be?

There are 20 Different Locations or Packs and each location has 10 Levels, scoring is similar to Bowling scores, in the event of a perfect score, the points from that level are added to the next and so forth. You can choose from 9 Wintery themed card backs and 3 different face card fonts. You are always forced to begin the game in Newbie mode, which allows you to replay any hand, then, if you prefer, you can switch to the Professional mode which only allows you to replay the entire pack of 10 levels.

Another feature I don't like in all solitaire games by this developer is that the tutorial makes you click another card off of the deck even though there are several more cards available on the board. (but then again, you don't really need a tutorial if you have played any other solitaire game by this dev) I'm reluctant to skip the tutorial just in case they have added or changed a new feature, which never happens, but one never knows, and I remain hopeful. I also hate that when you remove a Bonus card with a Snowflake it takes forever to explain what the card gives you, as it freezes continued gameplay to tell you what you won. Most of the time it gives you +499 extra points, but occasionally, a Joker, Mulligan or a Shuffle, because this bonus feature takes so long, removing two of these cards back to back is super agonizing and I'm tempted to not click on them if they aren't blocking a gold card!

If you own Solitaire Jack Frost Winter Adventures 1 or 2 or have played any other solitaire games by this dev, you've more than likely already played this one because they are all identical, all exactly the same, you just can't tell the difference between them!

I didn't even get through the 'Newbie' section before the solitaire games because too hard to do with the number of cards provided. I don't mind getting down to the wire (i.e. the last card but .. really 25 cards to use and over 50 to remove).

Everything that you can buy cost to much in relationship to how much coin one earns. i.e. a Joker is 5000 and if you are lucky you might get 2000 for solving the hand.

The game only starts with 1 undo for the whole game, then you have to buy them or get lucky and find one reward wise on the cards (snowflake on the card). At the very least, the undo should be refreshed / reset for each hand. Show less

Same music, same set up, same background scenes, not only that but fullscreen, not widescreen, not only that and most important is its way too easy and they give you way too many cards to play.
