I wasn't in a hurry to play Time Twins Mosiacs today because quite frankly the Big Fish synopsis doesn't do this game justice. The first reviewer nailed it, this is a very fun and cool Mosaic game and I hope there are more to come!

I wasn't in a hurry to play Time Twins Mosiacs today because quite frankly the Big Fish synopsis doesn't do this game justice. The first reviewer nailed it, this is a very fun and cool Mosaic game and I hope there are more to come!

I wasn't crazy about the music, and some of the color choices were rather difficult to see, such as the color White on White cells or the fact that the Red Numbers would lay on the top of Red Background Graphics and were a bit too small in my opinion. Other than that, anawiki has reinvented the wheel so to speak, by adding some really fun features to make this more than just another Mosaic game.

You begin by choosing from 12 different profiles and then you play a series of Themed Mosaics, the first one being a Railway theme with pictures of Locomotives, Water Towers, Coal Carriages etc. The puzzle Grid sizes are different every time and the completed pictures are recognizable and labeled. You can play in an Easy or Hard Mode which crosses off numbers immediately or when the entire row or column has been completed. I really liked that as you move the cursor to each cell, not only does it highlight the row and column, but it places a colored dot on the cell of whichever color you are currently on. There are 32 Achievements to earn, and I actually liked the pop-up awards, a feature that is rare in a Mosaics game.

After completing a few levels you get to use the Money you earned to unlock 6 Different Bonus Games. I've only played the first Bonus Game, Naval Battle, which is basically a game of Battleship on a Mosaic Grid, but it was oddly just as much fun. You begin by placing your "ships" of various lengths onto the grid cells, a single 4-celled ship, two 3-celled ships, three 3-celled ships, and four 1-celled ships. You take turns with your opponent (computer) to choose three cells each turn. Once you actually "hit" your opponents ship, you then have to figure out which direction the ship is in to sink it. The first one to sink all their opponent's ships first wins the game.

If you're looking for a Mosaic game that's got some cool features, look no further because other than a few minor flaws, anawiki hit the mark on this one! Show less

When you fill the last spot with color, it breaks down, flurries across the screen and arranges itself in another place. The next item is a water tower. However, the mosaic pics are logical; no guessing. When you finish several items, they animate and the train takes off, pulling the coal car and another car. The background music goes with the scene quite well. I am going to buy this game! Show less

Finally, a mosaic game with some challenge and larger numbers. My favourite mosaic games are Gizmo - christmas and halloween as there lies not only challenge but all the options one could ask for. In demo there is a battleship game with cost of $1000 and I imagine in each category there is a break of some sort. If you enjoy mosaics give this game a try.

Finally! A developer who dare's to make a puzzle bigger than 15 X 20! Thank you. I wish they would make them even bigger. I love this game. It's got a cute theme, and a good level of challenge. Cute graphics. Give it a try!

After playing and purchasing Time Twins Mosaics Haunted Images, I bought this game. I had never played such games before and I absolutely love them. I also enjoy the mini puzzles you unlock when you have earned a certain amount of points. Kudos to the developers for making clear and recognizable (cool) pictures with those squares. The game also makes me laugh every time I close it (especially the first time I closed it).

I only got one problem with this type of game. Due to the max of 5 mistakes each level, my stress level is pretty high every time I play. You see, when I first started playing this game, I made mistakes because I was learning how to play. But now, I'm pretty good at it and the mistakes I do make, most of them is not because I don't know the right solution or because I lack concentration. Most mistakes I make is because:

- I overlook the color/squares that are already filled in.
- I count wrong (this doesn’t happen often).
- When marking squares in one column/row, I accidentally look in the column/row next to it as reference to which squares to mark (this doesn’t happen often).
- You constantly need to switch between clicking on the right mouse button (to mark it’s not a colored square) and the left mouse button (to mark it’s a colored square). So when I click to fast or when I just had to click a lot of times on the right button, I accidentally click right, when I mean to click left or vice versa.
- I’m almost done with the level and have not made any mistakes so I’m thinking on repeat: “Please don’t make mistakes, you’re almost done”. And guess what often happens ..

Still love the game but for perfectionist players like I am this can be really frustrating. A lot of times I have started over because I want to finish the level with three stars. But after a couple of times, you need a break from the same level so I just finish it, with mistakes and all. It is what it is. Now I try to be more relaxed about it so at least the last point doesn’t bother me anymore. And besides that, it’s just a game. It shouldn't be a big deal. It's a learning moment for me: just BE CHILL! Show less

The tutorial is excellent (and can be skipped) and the gameplay is very good. The mini games add a nice distraction if desired... once you've earned enough coins.

The tutorial is excellent (and can be skipped) and the gameplay is very good. The mini games add a nice distraction if desired... once you've earned enough coins.

Unfortunately to make this a buy" for me (and possible sequels), the game needs 3 critical changes:
1) Alternatives formats to the tiles (stitched, LEGO, etc.)
2) The ability to cancel a choice while still holding down the mouse button, and most importantly
3) despite having 5 puzzles within the same scene, the scene should NOT be previewed... it spoils the surprise of what images to expect in the upcoming puzzles of a given set: it would be more fun to see how the first 5 puzzles end up part of a (SPOILER ALERT!) train station scene AFTER the last puzzle of the set is complete.

All in all, a well made game, but the "surprise factor" of knowing a puzzle's image is currently gone after the 1st puzzle of a "scene" is completed... we know what the next 4 images will be. Show less

I was thrilled to see a good picross offered but sadly, there is no story. It doesn't totally kill it for me, but that would have made this game so much better. As it is, why is it "Time Twins"? We only play as one character, so what's up with that? Were they separated? Do they operate together, working across time to solve a tear in the time/space continuum? Apparently not. I was thrilled to see a good picross offered but sadly, there is no story. It doesn't totally kill it for me, but that would have made this game so much better. As it is, why is it "Time Twins"? We only play as one character, so what's up with that? Were they separated? Do they operate together, working across time to solve a tear in the time/space continuum? Apparently not. It's just picross grids that build industrial items from the 19th and 20th centuries. Enjoyable but could have been so much better with a little thought. Show less
