You know it's a great game when you're sad that you've finished it. Yes, the mini games are a little annoying, but not so much that they ruined the game. Can't wait for the next one in this series.

Loved playing the game, good story line. Not keen on the mini games, its one of those games that you have to play to the end just to know what happens and then left hanging

Why have these games added trivial mini-games that require no skill and are just annoying? Why have these games added trivial mini-games that require no skill and are just annoying? There's a repetitive task in this game that requires you to "Rub" a circle by pulling the cursor from the center to the outer circle until it fills up red. That's certainly not rubbing, it's certainly not fun, and the circle interferes with clicking on other tasks at times, depending on its location, forcing you to "rub" before placing another investigator beside the circle first! If that wasn't bad enough, they added: "Focusing a Camera" before clicking to take a picture, where is the skill in that? I must say the mini-games (12 total) are a big turn-off for me, and I doubt I will purchase this game because of them, even though it is slightly discounted this weekend.

There are 60 Levels and 30 Challenge levels available with 16 Trophies to Earn. Each Main Level has a side task to complete which allows you to earn a Diamond to unlock Photographs and the story in Parker's Family Album. You can earn up to 3 Badges per level and the Badges are used to upgrade Hero Abilities for Lily Parker, Victor Lane, Stella, and Vasquez. There are 4 Categories of upgrades for each character, Movement (walk faster) Concentration (slower focus time, more time to solve MG's) Professionalism (lose hearts slower) and Leadership (queues are managed better, hearts slower loss) and each category can be upgraded several times. Carl the Mouse has returned and you will get extra points for finding him in every level.

It is Parker's job to assign the investigator's to their desired posts, by selecting the investigator and then the available station (the yellow evidence cards). Each investigator has a thought bubble with an image of what tools he needs to complete his investigation. (tweezers, magnifying glass, swabs, cameras etc) Some items require you to combine items or complete a mini-game, some items need to be restocked and some items just require a single click. Multi-tasking and fast decisions will earn you more points, and there is a Star meter to tell you when you have reached 2 and then 3 stars/badges.

For me personally, the abundance of mini-games totally ruined it for me, otherwise, I would have loved it!

I have mostly given up on games like these. I love them, but my fingers are not as fast as they used to be so the games become way too hectic, even on beginner difficulty. This one, however, is quite managable to play on beginner, so I find my self enjoying it. Good storyline too. And I don`t mind the minigames. The game is however buggy, it freezes on a rare occation and whenever I minimize it to Windows, it freezes up both the game and my computer. I have reported this to the developers. Show less

This is an interesting game because of the backstory. Otherwise, I prefer the first Parker & Lane. This one is not challenging.

I also had trouble with the blasted mini games that kept popping up before I could complete an action. It's annoying and also frustrating for those of us who don't have perfect hand/finger control. These little extra actions are too plentiful and they're time wasters, often costing you money or causing you to lose a star. The whole game itself is just too distracting with all the pop-ups and dialogue.

Also, the extra 30 bonus levels are really difficult to get a perfect score on. I ended up skipping them, which makes the Collector's Edition a waste of money for me.

The story line wasn't bad, but it may have been better off in a hidden object game with adult, realistic characters. I tried to play more than seven levels of Twisted Minds but I simply didn't want to deal with it anymore. Show less

The above comments were expressed by many players when reviewing the first game in the Series. Obviously, the Developers either didn't take the time to read them or didn't care.

I was sorry I purchased the first in the Series, but was hopeful feedback given would have improved this latest installment. No such luck.

Such a shame. Could've have been a fun Series.
