I was soooooooooooooo happy to see a Match 3 game!!!! There haven't been many lately & I was glad to see one. The color is really beautiful. If you are looking for a cut-throat Match 3 game, this probably isn't for you. I switched to the Relaxed Mode & just sat & enjoyed playing the game. There generally is a "little kid" in all of us, well maybe not all. Give it a try & decide for yourself.

I recommend this game!

Some reviewers have said this is a good game for children, and I don't disagree at all, it definitely is. BUT... it's a good game for adults too. I'm a pensioner and I have been enjoying it so much.

I love that there is an alternative to a limited number of steps - I won't even buy the ones that are limited steps only as I struggle to keep to the number allowed sometimes. Having a 'relaxed' mode was the first big positive for me.

I also love that the spiders, which usually frustrate me and end up making me stop playing, are beatable in this game - so far, anyway, and hopefully the rest of the game. I've passed the pirate ship now, so I'm well into the game.

The colours are bright and cheerful, so it's easy for old eyes to differentiate between the tiles, so that's another big positive for me.

If I were to say anything negative about the game it's that although you can turn off the music (which I always do) and the sound effects (which I never do), you can't reduce the sound effects volume, and it's a bit loud at 3am in the morning when people are sleeping in the flats above and below.

But that isn't a big enough problem for me to reduce any of the ratings, I'm just mentioning it so that if the people who made the game read my review, they will a) consider making a sequel, and b) hopefully include a slider control for the sound effects for people like me who have trouble sleeping and end up playing games when the rest of the world sleeps. :) Show less

This was such a fun and challenging game. You get your monies worth with this one as it goes on forever. Be careful it's addicting.

I play games for entertainment and to relieve the stress of everyday life. This game has cute graphics and two modes of play. I bought it even after reading the negative reviews. I really like it. I haven't tried the other level of play so can't comment on that, but if you are really tired of reading the news and want a break, this is a good game!

I recommend this game!

Expert or Relax, once again another clue of its target..I played in expert which I normally dont do with adult games, and when I pushed a point and tried to fail, I decided not to pay the extra $$ to play on..and it actually rewarded me for my effort by giving me money for my effort! Then back to repeat.

There is Captain Hooks room to do up with your loot, but you don't choose..he popps up when you have enough money to buy a piece of furniture..and when you buy that you get your bonuses, horizontal or vertical lines destroying rockets, electro blasts, and large matches make a bomb. etc At one stage a bunch of extremely hairy spiders showed up..but I only saw them once in the demo..as they politely told me after I had blown them up that 'they didn't feel well so could I please leave them alone' Gotta laugh

One thing that tipped me to it being more for youngsters (apart from the fairytale story lol)..was whether I finished with 1 move or 20..I got three stars. No losers here lol

So try the demo. Its not for me, but it will have a time and place for certain groups and ages. I don't dislike it..but not for adults IMHO. Show less

These appeared only once in the demo, but who knows what lies ahead.

I love the Peter Pan story, always wanted to visit Neverland on the flying ship. I wish this game was aimed more toward the adult players but, on the other hand, BFG doesn't really offer many games that are truly appropriate for young children. So, this one seems suitable for some innocent fun that parents don't have to worry about. Show less

At first with all the cutie type images you would think this game was totally designed for a younger market and the first 20 levels were extremely easy and gave that idea.

Then it changes, problem is your demo time only takes you to around 20 levels.
For some strange reason I decided to buy this and was glad I did as it becomes really challenging .

For some strange reason I decided to buy this and was glad I did as it becomes really challenging .

It is a shame you can't start at level 20.
Although I liked it it probably will not suit hardened match 3 players .
Had this started with more of a challenge then I would have upped my stars.
There are 250 levels to this so if you have a free game and enjoy match 3 consider this. There are better out there but then there are a lot worse.

Difficult one to recommend. lets just say it has potential Show less

As the others have said this is a game for the kids. Not much of a challenge. I also found it odd that he was called Peter PEN throughout the demo not Peter PAN!

The graphics couldn't be more vibrant and colorful, it is a very visually appealing game with cartoon characters and a cute story about Peter Pan and his adventures in Neverland with Tinkerbell and his nemesis Captain Hook. Unfortunately, this is another mobile Match 3 game converted to a desktop version scenario where the goal is to create and use power-ups to win the game. I just can't get into a game that doesn't allow me to use strategy to win the game, I want to choose whether or not to use a power-up, and in this type of game, it's just not possible. If all I'm doing is exploding multiple bombs (colorful as they may be) it's still clearing most of the board for me, there's absolutely no strategy involved, it's just mindless clicking, it eventually gets really old, really quickly!

You can play in a Relaxed Unlimited Moves Mode or an Expert Limited Moves Mode with no in-between Mode available. The goal is to earn 3-Stars by clearing all Waffle or Chocolate Cells (what does that have to do with Neverland?) and remove a Specified Number of each Specified Tile shown on the left. Potion Bottles must be dropped off the bottom of the board on some of the levels, as well.

Large Matches will place Power-ups on the board. The larger the match the larger the explosion anywhere from a small bomb to an Indian Totem that explodes in an X formation. Bonuses can be purchased for use at your discretion as well:

*Hammer-clears a single object
*Broom-destroys spiderwebs
*Tornado-mixes tiles on the board
*Magnet-destroys all of one type of tile
*Gift Box-adds random bonuses
*Butterflies-calls butterflies to destroy obstacles

There are various Obstacles that can be destroyed by making adjacent matches or using Bouses There are Ghosts, Spiders, Crates, Ice Cubes, Spiderwebs, and Door Portals that will unlock hidden portions of the board. The coins you earn are used to upgrade good 'ole Captain Hook's quarters with various decorations but I was surprised that first mate Smee wasn't onboard to haul the booty in place!

It's a cute game and although I personally do not enjoy this type of Match 3 game because I just don't see the value in a game that forces you to create and use power-ups in order to earn all 3 stars, I can certainly understand the attraction for those who love the colors and don't want the stressfulness of a strategy-based Match 3 game.
