A Match 3 worthy of my attention and time, but alas I don't have the time but it is sitting in my list of files of games to play once I have time. (Have a few other games running right now.)

Very bright, cheery graphics and love the size of the workers, yes you have workers and buildings to build not saying any more for if you are like me you want to find this out for yourself - right!!?!

Music is great the game itself looks like it becomes harder but not to the point where you start thinking is this round ever ending? Very smooth playing no freezers/glitches/etc.

OK have just talked myself into buying game and you probably think I'm mad for not doing so earlier as there is a sale on right now.

Try the demo yourself as each to their own. Show less

Idk why people feel the need to low star something just because they have played it before on another site but I know I really liked it and plan on buying it! I think its super cute I love when we build up villages everything about it is cute. While similar to the Legends of Rome: The Wrath of Mars, this match-3 presents a different story line, buildings to build, and achievements. I really liked the tiles. They're the same in both games. Relaxed/Untimed mode will let you get 3 stars, build, and attain achievements. Some match-3 and other games don't let you build or attain achievements while playing in relaxed/untimed mode. I appreciated that feature since I have a life and can't drop everything to play a game. It's very annoying to play a game in relaxed mode that doesn't allow any progress or features. The levels are short enough to finish while just passing the time or watching tv. Overall, I would recommend this to match-3 fans just looking for a different game to play. Maybe during a BOGO weekend or if it's ever a deal of the day. Show less

Well these games have stopped being called 'Legend of' and renamed to be called 'Tales of', and that's about the only change that has been made at all.

If you don't own any of these you will probably consider it a three star game as they have many, many levels so they do give value, but they also become very boring very quickly.

I own a few already with absolutely similar tiles, tasks and gameplay. You just need to look at the tiles to know if you already own one. I wont be buying this one as I honestly don't think I have even finished some of the others. Please devs stop just churning out the same games over and over. Its starts to border on insulting that you mass produce without showing any sign of actual care or nurture for your product. The only thing is the length of the game that has any plus factor. I'm not saying this is a dreadful Match 3 game, it does have a few flaws and annoyances such as, tiles that are difficult to differentiate between, and tiles that cover so much of the cell's surface area that it makes it difficult to see whether there are any gold or green cells remaining on the board at times. I'm not saying this is a dreadful Match 3 game, it does have a few flaws and annoyances such as, tiles that are difficult to differentiate between, and tiles that cover so much of the cell's surface area that it makes it difficult to see whether there are any gold or green cells remaining on the board at times. No, it's not a dreadful M3 game, but Magnussoft likes to take the same game and re-release it for several years under a new title, you heard me right, they take the same Match 3 game (they do the same thing with their solitaire games) change the title, change the story and the graphics, nothing more, we are being duped! That's pretty lazy.!..or is it genius? (It's only genius if no one catches on!)

You can play in a Relaxed Mode, a Medium Mode, or a Hard Mode of difficulty, and you can earn up to 3-Stars per level and, Earn 35 of the same Achievements always offered in every Match 3 game by Magnussoft Games. There are 3 Cursor Options to choose from (Red, Gold, White) and you can choose a High Resolution which you are duped into believing will fix the black bar issue to give you a full screen but the only thing noticeable the high-resolution option does is add Roman Pillars to the sides of the screen so you have something to look at versus the two large black, empty voids...isn't this 2020, nearly 2021, perhaps it's time to upgrade your software?...and your games!

The Level Goals are usually the same for each level and are shown on the bar below the Match 3 board. If Coins are shown, the goal is to earn money by making matches over all of the yellow, brown, or green cells to break them. Some goals may require collecting specific tiles such as food or various resources as pictured on the bar beneath the board as well as the amount needed. After each Match 3 level, you get to choose from one of five different overturned cups to earn coins and other resources. If you have earned enough Stars, Coins, and various Resources, you can purchase new Crops, Houses, Farms, Livestock, etc, to eventually rebuild the Grand Empire.

Large Matches will give you a bomb on the board, of various strengths, according to the size of the match made. These bombs can be swapped with any tile, or double-clicked to detonate it. As you progress, Boosters are added to the left and right Icons that can be used at your discretion, once it has been charged. They are the usual boosters that allow you to use a Hammer on a Single Tile or use Horizontal & Vertical Line Blasters, etc. Eventually, you can purchase upgrades and boosters in the Shop with the coins you earn.

There are the usual Obstacles of Roped Tiles, Double Roped Tiles, Brick Tiles, Double Bricked Tiles, Crate Tiles, and Double Crate Tiles, Earth Cells to dig through, that may or may not need to be destroyed because sometimes they aren't blocking a yellow or green tile.

IF you haven't purchased any Match 3 games by this developer, I would recommend Tales of Rome: Grand Empire. I think this is a decent Match 3 game although it does have rather cartoonish type graphics and a few graphic flaws as I mentioned earlier. IF you have purchased ANY Match 3 games by Magnussoft in the past, I would strongly caution you to double-check that game before purchasing this game because chances are, they are one and the same, and the chances are even greater that the game in your inventory is even better than this one! If this is a new Match 3 to you, it will be fun. The graphics are bright and colorful, music is so-so, but I think the tiles are unattractive. You won't need anymore from this dev. At least we have bonuses you earn through matching 4 or 5 tiles etc .If you have never played any of these games before then you may enjoy it although I find the graphics on this pretty poor. Putting two pretty below average match 3's up on consecutive days is not my idea of variety. Try the demo and see how you go. ...Show more

I have to agree with the others who said this is the same game with a new name. As soon as I started playing the demo I felt like I had already played this game. So if you paid for one of their earlier games don't buy this one unless you want two games that are the same just with different names.

I don't recommend this game.
