There's not a whole lot to talk about here folks if you love the pixel paint by numbers games this one has upped the ante! There's not a whole lot to talk about here folks if you love the pixel paint by numbers games this one has upped the ante! Instead of choosing the color that matches the number, you have to fill in the correct number of cells (the color is automatic) for example, there may be two number 8's shown, that means you have to connect the 8's by drawing a line between them. The lines can be straight or zig-zag, but all cells must be filled.

There are 160 levels total and 7 Trophy Achievements to earn. You can earn up to 3 stars per level depending on hints used. My only complaint is that the chosen colors seem rather dull and drab, and I'd like to see them add textures to the filled-in cells to make them appear more dimensional. Show less

I played the one hour demo and this is definitely a purchase for me. This game creates pictures by drawing lines connecting the same numbers of the same color. The controls are easy; you don't have to hold the button down to drag from one number to another. Just click on one number, move the "mouse" across the tiles to the next number and click again. I played the one hour demo and this is definitely a purchase for me. This game creates pictures by drawing lines connecting the same numbers of the same color. The controls are easy; you don't have to hold the button down to drag from one number to another. Just click on one number, move the "mouse" across the tiles to the next number and click again. The pictures became more complex as I got further into the game and the correct paths from one number to another were not always readily apparent. And here is another good feature of the game; to erase a line, just right click on it. Again, no holding down the "mouse" and dragging, which is a lot easier on the hand. In order to earn three stars for each pic, you must complete the pic within the number of moves and hints allowed. I did not find either of these limits egregious in any way, but this may change as I get further into the game and the pics become harder. Another great feature is the presence of a window that shows what the completed pic should look like. This is a real help in deciding what direction the lines between a set of numbers should go. The colors are vibrant, and the pics and numbers are large, making it easy to play. I didn't play with sound, so cannot comment on this feature. i could not find anything that I did not like about this game. I highly recommend it. Show less

This was nice! Link-A-Pix are my second favorite picture-forming logic puzzle, and there are very few games that have used them; mostly because like the 'original' paint-by-numbers/nonograms they're absorbing, and take some practice.

The concept is reasonably simple. Your grid is full of colored numbers. You link up identically colored numbers with a line of that color, that uses that number of spaces. The fun starts when there's enough room for there to be several ways for that line to travel, and/or several different options for it to end with.

Each level is one picture, and 10 of them are tutorials. Good tutorials are important for puzzle games, and this one seemed to be pretty good. I was not able to play very far through yet; it did lock up, but I think that was my fault.

Hopefully this does well and we start seeing more of these puzzle types. Show less

Love this puzzle game, but will not buy it because the grid is too small. I do not understand why. It looks like you would be able to enlarge the grid so that it is easier to see and play, but no luck with that.
The visual is just not good enough and some of the puzzles have too few colors which make it boring and too difficult.
It is addicting to play and I wish the grid filled the screen. Then ...Show more

I generally like this kind of 'coloring' game, but just before I finished the demo I realized it was taxing my eyes and brain. Seems strange to me that there are over 10 sample puzzles to get thru before actually starting the game. No points earned for any of those pictures. The puzzle does provide a 'copy' of the picture a the bottom right, which is a little helpful. This is one of those games that is a fine line between challenging and forget it. Sometimes I do need something like this, so I might purchase it as a free game. Show less

I was really looking forward to playing this game. It has elements of other games I enjoy, and it looked like it combined them in a new and challenging way.

So I was frustrated when I had the hardest time moving the arrow from one square to the other. Finally, after trying the tutorial over and over, the game would crash. This happened 3 days in a row. No sense in trying it any longer.

I don't recommend this game.
