Not as simple as it looks!

I'm really surprised at the number of reviews that call this game 'boring and slow'. Granted the characters don't rush themselves but there is a speed booster which will make them run faster.

As for waiting too long for resources, there are 2 ways to increase both the amount you pick up and the time to wait. It's just a case of knowing what the various booster buttons do and when to use ...Show more

As for waiting too long for resources, there are 2 ways to increase both the amount you pick up and the time to wait. It's just a case of knowing what the various booster buttons do and when to use them.

I have just reached the icy lands after playing 35 levels, so it's not short on gameplay! The main characters are so cute and very well drawn, as is the game in general. No complaints about the graphics from me.

The main buildings can be a bit slow to produce their goods but yet again there is a not only a way to speed them up but also to increase their output. I think those that say it's all too slow need to look at the boosters, of which there are several!

This is one game I'm finding very addictive! I've no idea how many levels there are but there are a lot of them! I'd recommend this game to those that love a challenging builder- type game along with the Viking type theme. And dragons! Show less

I am up to level 26. Trying to get gold on each level is very challenging to do. This is not a game for beginners. I personally love this game. Three stars is doable, but not easy. I have played some levels 3 times or more. Put on your thinking cap for this one.

I enjoyed every minute of this addictive little game.

The last 10 levels are difficult, and the last 5 levels are particularly challenging without being frustrating!

I give extra points for the game music, which is pleasant and doesn't drive my husband up the wall (he dislikes a lot of TM game music). Graphics were fine. The game played perfectly for me, with no glitches or sudden crashes, etc.

In all, a fun & enjoyable little game - I hope to see more from this developer! Show less

Great game I still have not achieved 3 stars on hard mode for level 37 and 35, kicking me well im down lol.
really great but only 37 levels no bonus levels.
but i will keep working on the ones i cant get.
dont tread on this one on hard mode less you need a real
challange.

This is a good little game if your main criteria is challenge. It's a puzzle to figure out the right way to do the level. If you are sitting and waiting to accumulate resources, you've chosen wrong. The story, graphics, and music aren't all that, but it's awesome on the challenge factor, and that's why I play TM games.

I recommend this game!

What makes this game so challenging is that you can't rely on the obvious activities to win. You have to explore rock formations and other features to reveal additional tasks to complete and resources to use. The difficulty increases quickly after the first few levels since you have to figure out which resources you need a lot of and what order to finish tasks in order to get in under the timer. I don't like moving on unless I get three stars so I had to repeat some of them 5 and 6 times before continuing to the next level. The characters are cute and the graphics are very good without being overly distracting. I love the little puffs of smoke coming out of the rock chimneys. I hope this the first in a long series! Having read another review that there are no difficulty modes I would just like to point out there are. Hard normal and relaxed.
This is not as easy as the first few levels would have you believe.

To start, yes you do seem to be waiting for the barrels to refill but this game becomes very challenging even on relaxed and several times I used the wrong resources and had to restart the level. ...Show more

To start, yes you do seem to be waiting for the barrels to refill but this game becomes very challenging even on relaxed and several times I used the wrong resources and had to restart the level.
There are the usual resource collections but then there are other differences that for me made this game worth buying.
I love the way the workers walk up the stairs . made me laugh.
There are better games out there but this made me give an extra star for not being a CE.

So nice to see a standard TM game.
As per usual some will like this and some will not but for me I think it is a good effort.
Try the demo bearing in mind that it does get more interesting

No idea how many levels in this but as it is not a CE it does not really matter but do wish developers would give this sort of info out. Show less

For those playing in relaxed this may actually turn out to be quite boring, but if you are up for the challenge of working out which way to go...its a quite cute and ok game that could do with some refinement but I did have to actually resort to a net walkthrough on level 5!! (shame on me lol)

Before that I didn't pay attention and kept wondering where my gold was going..but then I realised that little food bush is NOT free like in so many other games, but you will get used to what you pay for and what you can just pick up.

So not the greatest clear and gather that's ever been but good enough for a coupon or the SE pricetag it has. Gameplay is smooth and you can click ahead. Once again be careful..these show up red if you don't have the resources yet..and will go to the first one you clicked when they catch up. (you can turn them off)..Theres not much dialogue to wade through..just one box at the start of each level.

So come gather gold and wood and build and clear and just enjoy a cute little game that needs some improvement, but there are lots worse out there and it certainly does actually challenge me despite the slow speed of refills and small amounts of resources they give at all. Cheers. Show less

I personally thought this game was enjoyable. I like games that you can relax while playing it. It is the typical pickup resources to build a structure like most TM games. I was able to change the game mode to relaxed so I could relax to play the game. I changed it at the beginning when creating my profile. I also thought the characters were cute and fun to watch. I myself recommend this game.
