I t has been a long time since a tower defense game was brought out here and this is the 4th in the series and features the Napoleonic wars. This is a very challenging game and requires a lot of strategy. If you have played the other games then you should be used to the mechanics. I t has been a long time since a tower defense game was brought out here and this is the 4th in the series and features the Napoleonic wars. This is a very challenging game and requires a lot of strategy. If you have played the other games then you should be used to the mechanics. It is a bit confusing at first but you need to upgrade everything as soon as you can by upgrading gears which is maybe not the best way to do this but once you get the hang of it you will be fine. The music and graphics are great. This will not suit everyone .In my opinion this is the best of the series and just makes a change to the normal on here. Been around on other platforms for some time so there are walkthroughs available. Show less

Great game and it's on sale! Same concept as other TDs but it seems much more difficult to ace. OK with me because I'll get more playing time.

Long awaited new tower defence game ..excellent graphics and effects but on the down side when you pause the game a dialogue box covers the screen so you can't make any adjustments to your defence,which is needed as some levels are one continuos rush of enemy troops. At the start of new levels a dialogue box appears with advice but it blinks on for about two seconds giving you no time to read ...Show more

At the start of new levels a dialogue box appears with advice but it blinks on for about two seconds giving you no time to read it...No option to skip the tutorial when you reset the game and start again which is irritating.Despite those faults it is still very good and very addictive ...Last level a big anticlimax and I got the feeling the creators had become a bit bored with the project... I played for 12 minutes in the tutorial expecting this to be representative of game play, most of my time was spent trying every key on the keyboard to overcome the following:

No Options, so no volume control for music or effects.
No Speed Control, no pause, no fast forward.
No Exit, no way to leave the scenario, or just quit the game.

It may have become interesting, but the User Interface ...Show more

I'm sorry. I got 2 minutes in and had to mute the sound by plugging in headphones. There is no chance at the beginning to go to "options" or "settings" and change this. You are sent directly into action, whether you like it or not.

Once there, you have no means to escape the gameplay except the magic button on your keyboard - the "flying window". Escape does not work.

Get an access violation under both windows 7 and 10 whenever I attempt to start the game.
