Another total classic has made a return. This game will require all your TM skills as you build, gather, upgrade and rescue and trade. Sounds average? This game is far from average and really well put together for clearly showing you what you need to aquire to complete a building or a task

Another total classic has made a return. This game will require all your TM skills as you build, gather, upgrade and rescue and trade. Sounds average? This game is far from average and really well put together for clearly showing you what you need to aquire to complete a building or a task

However in this one surprises jump up to meet you and some of it is pure guess work as to what choice to pick to build. I was using strategy even at level 2 and 3 because of this. Just looking at your task and inventory doesn't always help..so you may have to repeat or demolish and quickly build because the timer is a bit of a hard master. (there is a relaxed)..but this series has never been a walk in the park and if you have never played before you may feel thrown in the deep end a bit I think even though the tutorial is adequate. .

Its classic Moai with mostly all the same visuals and game play pretty much, but I think this is TM at its best if you like a fair challenge.

Whilst there are in game bonuses you find by opening chests to help you at the traders or speed you up etc..you can also improve your production, or speed by going to the 'store' and buying further bonuses with the gems you earn for doing your levels. You can gamble for more...or just buy. There are also achievements to earn.

I do have two negatives, one is that the levels take an awfully long time to load..your game IS working...just wait for it to kick in. I was worried at first. The other is that you cant skip the dialogue. But all in all, its an SE with 60 levels of strategy, challenge and fun so its still getting full stars from me. Enjoy. Show less

I was so happy to see Moai VII as the game of the day! Have always enjoyed playing this series, and this latest game doesn't disappoint.

There are a few different things from previous games. Such as gathering emeralds one uses to move faster and increase resources. You can also use emeralds to spin a wheel in order to obtain more emeralds or other resources.

I was so happy to see Moai VII as the game of the day! Have always enjoyed playing this series, and this latest game doesn't disappoint.

The usual building of resource buildings are still present as well as the ability to upgrade them in later levels.

The only slightly annoying thing is the wait for each level to load, but other than that, I am enjoying this game as much as the previous games in this series.

Oh, and another small disappointment is that it isn't a Collector's Edition. But, what the hey … the game is fun and challenging. Things I look for in a enjoyable time management game.

Looking forward to moving forward and obtaining gold stars to the end!! Show less

I have always loved the Moai series, and this newest one is no exception. I don't think it takes a lot of time to load each level, when one considers the level of complexity for each level (I have a family member who is a game designer.). I really enjoy the level of challenge, just right, even at the expert level for me.

Same familiar tropical scenes, music and appealing workers.

Settings include sound and music volumes, cursor, screen mode, and disable tutorial, yes! Game modes: untimed and normal. To change your mode, you must create a new player. Instead of collecting exotic ingredients for potions and equipment, you now have a store and a wheel to spin for extra enhancements. Cool! Some little audio glitches now and then. The loading bar between levels does stick a bit. On this machine, it takes about five seconds to move on. Agreed, this could have been optimized a bit better.

We've seen enough series go downhill fast, sadly. This ain't one of them at the moment and I'm pleased about that. Show less

Moai has delivered another game that is fun. Lots of levels, I had lots of hours of playing the game. I had to say I missed the ghost/spirits but still fun.
The only problem with the game, it would take about 1 minute to start another level, maybe my laptop is slow.

I recommend this game!

It takes between 10 and 18 seconds on my computer to load a level. That's not exactly a problem in my book. Great game, love the whole series, this is a nice addition.

Graphics remain excellent. Storyline is cute. Level of challenge and replay is also great. I mute the sound, so can't comment on that.

This game does require thought and strategy. It also allows one to queue actions (or click ahead).

Not sure about the Wheel, but it doesn't take away from the game. Spinning it is optional.

Perhaps those people need to buy a new gaming computer. Mine is a gaming computer that is 7 years old. It has 16 GB of ram, and 2,4 GHz intel Core i7, graphics processor Nvidia GeForce with 3GB of GDDRS Memory. Using Windows 10. Also check the internet speed.

Come on people, give this new developer a chance. At least they are continuing this series which a great number of us enjoy!!
THANK GOODNESS THEY RETAINED THE SAME MUSIC. That is just as important to me as keeping the same pleasant graphics, and the story line is fun. Also enjoyed the dialog.
By the way, sections of this music was used in the Cold Case Files show on the Justice network, hosted by Bill Curtis.
