I played the game for the first few levels and then read the reviews. Thought I was reading the wrong reviews so went back to the game and found that all of the issues that were negative, were not for the game I had downloaded. Did not like the music but that is an easy fix - turn off the sound. Had no problem with the cursor - worked fine when I disabled it and got the small arrow. Do that for ...Show more

It is a funny time to offer a 'winter' game but it is supposed to snow here tomorrow in Minnesota, so maybe right on.

Anyway I would say try it and see if you get the good download or the bad one. Show less

The game I downloaded works perfectly. Maybe I just got lucky, but if your problem was technical and you want to try again, now it seems fine! These game types are my favorite and I play them repeatedly, so maybe they took your advice penmom and fixed things.

Working perfectly here. No bugs. I'm playing the Easy level, to avoid any pressure. We have enough of that in real life. I find this game to be a kind of meditiation and relaxation in these hard times. Loving it!

I have played the whole first hour with no glitches so am going to buy. My only problem was that sometimes white squares on a grey back ground were really hard to see. Less background and a larger playing area would have helped a lot.

I never leave reviews, although I rely on them every day to make choices. But I had to leave one today, because I just played the whole demo and I had no problems whatsoever! Everybody else left such bad reviews, I almost didn't even download. But it worked great for me. Not the most challenging of these type games, but it was fun for me!

I recommend this game!

I love Mosaics because they are my Zen, I play Mosaics for relaxation but this one has so many issues that it made the puzzles frustrating instead of fun. For starters, the Custom Cursor wouldn't work unless I held the mouse button down while moving it. I solved this issue by going to the Options Setting and disabling the cursor, only to discover even more issues! There is a serious lag between clicking (or X's) cells, and when the cells actually fill in, it was almost painful to have to sit and wait for a cell or group of cells to be filled in properly, so much so that I'd wonder if my selection was recognized or if it was another issue! The Music would "stick" as well so I decided to uninstall and reinstall, and hopefully, fix the games' issues...it did not. Does anyone actually vet these games before throwing them out?

You can choose from 3 different difficulty modes, Bronze (Easy) which gives you a 30-second refill timer, 5 Lives, 9 Shovels to reveal a single cell and 3 bombs to remove a 3x3 grid. Silver (Medium) gives you a 60-second hint refill timer, 3 Lives, 6 Shovels, and 2 Bombs. Gold (Hard) gives you a 120-second hint refill timer, 1 Life, 3 Shovels and 1 Bomb.

There are 128 Mosaic Levels and 16 Mini-Games. I only played a few of the levels because the issues made the game really frustrating, instead of feeling really Zen, I felt really aggravated. I hate having to ding a developer but in my opinion, this game needed to be ironed out a little bit more before hanging it out to dry!

There are tons of mosaics available and Match Gems, even though there are way too many of them, is still head and shoulders above the rest. Winter in New York is a blizzard of incompetence. I slogged through 18 grids before realizing that continuing would not be worth my while.

On top of everything else that's bad, BFG chose to offer a WINTER TIME game in SPRING. Talk about dropping the ball!!

I don't recommend this game.
