If there are too many duplicates I didn't notice. considering you get 80 pictures I feel I can skip a lot and still get more than my money's worth. I get them all.

I love these!. I can shade out the grays in the picture that show what number corresponds to the area. This way, I am able to hunt and pick using my eyes. No point in having the shaded areas. Nice changes from the boring games as of late.

The demo was fun as usual with Paint By Numbers, but I become aggravated right at the get-go. I do not like that I cannot go to the next level until I complete the first set of pictures. IMO, that needs to change. I just want to see the pictures, I'm a window shopper! And what harm is there in that?

I did like the improvements given us this time. I'm so happy that the cursor size has changed and being able to drag the cursor over a same-color area filled with teeny spots of color is a blessing in my book. Honestly, some of the areas are a mere pin dot, even zooming in sometimes doesn't help.

The addition of the background colors has finally arrived, a nice variety. However, as Pennmom mentioned, there needs to be a better variation between background and highlighted area. The areas along the border are the problem. Speaking of color, I really love the wide range of colors we have in Paint By Numbers and using 34 beautiful shades in one image brings it to life rather than creating "just" a picture. Having a Hint Button sure comes in handy with so many miniscule areas to fill in, but I try to avoid it. I love the challenge.

I enjoy many hours of coloring with books and pencils, my favorite go-to for relaxation. Paint By Numbers fits right in without having to bring out all the supplies, The color by number games are lots of fun. They provide a lot of enjoyment, for me, they are simple for any age to catch onto. The most challenge I find is those wee areas that are difficult to spot. Many of the Paint By Number images are too easy. However, the more elaborate ones can take quite a while to finish. And the end result is always worth the effort.

I own all the Paint By Numbers and haven't finished any of them. Since I own all the other color/paint games on Big Fish there is plenty to satisfy the artist in me. I try not to binge on any of them, so my supply won't run dry. I keep asking Big Fish for more of these games, there are lots of them out there. Would love to see them more often. PLEASE?!

Great fun! Give it try and maybe you'll find it to be a relaxing, colorful way to spend some spare time or just take you away from a hectic day. A good distraction from the stress of lockdown, for me. Show less

Slowly but surely Paint by Numbers is adding a few new features, this one allows us to use a color grid to change the background color which also changes the color of the "greyed" area or highlighted area of the number you are currently working on which sort of defeats the purpose. Don't get me wrong, I love the background colors, I asked for background colors repeatedly, but there still needs to be a color variation between the background color and the highlighted area because it's hard to spot the colors you are working on if they are next to the background.

They also made the cursor tip smaller and less bulky and you can now drag the cursor to fill in the colors on the entire board as long as you don't let go of the mouse button. This makes it much easier when there are tiny areas that are hard to spot, but there is also a Hint button that will point to any missed areas of the current color, without penalty.

There's not a whole lot to have to figure out, it's about as uncomplicated and basic as it gets. Paint By Numbers is a computer version of Oil or Colored Pencil Paint by Numbers, and actually closer to the real thing than the Pixel Art versions. Each area has a number and you simply chose the corresponding color bubble from the palette (also numbered) on the right side, left-click to fill in all the numbers with the correct color.

There is a Slider Bar that allows you to zoom in & out (there's a "fit" tab as well) you can also move the entire page around by right-clicking and dragging. There is also a slider bar that allows you to change the color of the background, which now includes a full-color scale. I would love to see a "texture" feature added that would mimic different paint variations as well.

Keep an open mind, it isn't supposed to be a brain-burner kind of game. It's a very basic and rudimentary game that's just supposed to take you out of the hectic zone for a bit. ☯

I really like these coloring games. I have all of them, and then some. I think the pictures in this one are better, but I'd like to see more scenery ones, and more with people in them. I have other games like this from other game sites but they are different in the respect that you can't go to the different levels of pictures without doing all the ones before them. That, I do not like! What's the point? If you buy the game you should at least be able to open all the levels to check them out. That's what I like about this one. In this one you can also change the background color. So cool. I look forward to # 6. Show less

It has the same mechanics as 4, and even a couple of the images are the same. Nice, relaxing game to play when you want something that's not difficult. It would be nice if they would add a count for the number of spots each color has.

I love these games and have them all. My only nitpick is if we're paying for new games, please don't duplicate the pictures we've already played. The lion and the girl with the plait are from an earlier version. There have to be scads of pictures you can do, why rehash the old ones?

They didn't invest a lot in imagination, in this version. They used many of past images. We have already paid for previous games, so no need to pay again for the same images!!! they could have least have changed the colors.
Some images are pretty blurry.
Definitely not one of their best efforts. Very disappointed!!

I don't recommend this game.

Seriously, don't bother. Half the images are from past games (they didn't even bother to change the colors). Half of them are that horrid thick lined crap. Nothing new in mechanics, nothing new in artwork. Go read a good book instead.

I don't recommend this game.
