I really liked this game. I like playing in relaxed mode so I can do other things like listening to audio books at the same time, or just gabbing with family. This game fits the bill perfectly. Keeps me busy, but does not have to keep my full attention. Graphics are very good, larger and easy to see, and as the game progresses, the game gets harder, so not a simple game. Lots of power ups. As so often there are negative or reserved reviews that make sense to me even though for me the game seems just right. As so often there are negative or reserved reviews that make sense to me even though for me the game seems just right. I am writing this review, now writing hardly any reviews, to agree with the other five star reviewer and to encourage perhaps many others out there for whom the game can be just right.
And to thank the developer for making changes including new layouts. I just hope that they dont now give us fifty game using these layouts but this time am grateful.

The game is not challenging really, and if you want the added challenges of timing or of limited moves there is not that option. The story is predictable in broad outline at least.

What stands on the other side is that it is a story into which you can put your imagination comfortably , what one might call a warmhearted story and the play ,although as another reviewer said allowing doing other things at the same time, can absorb if one invests a little imagination into seeing each level as being something challenging to overcome and then allowing oneself satisfaction when it is rather soon overcome.
as the poet Cavafy said of the voyage to Ithaca "As you set out for Ithaka hope the voyage is a long one,full of adventure, full of discovery...May there be many a summer morning when,with what pleasure, what joy,you come into harbors seen for the first time..."
I think there are many players out there who would if they try it find this game such a wonderful journey. This review is for them. Show less

you are playing as a princess looking for her younger brother who took off and didn't return. you run into the orcs with your knights and go forward together. you are fighting and evil one and this is the story. some levels i had to play more than once to win them. i played on the timeless level.

I recommend this game!

New gameplay and mechanism and new levels i really appreciate! The story and atmosphere always appeal for me.

Even though I gave it 4 stars, I must say that I don't like the fact that it doesn't let you utilize the tools at all. Is that because the sphere never fills completely? The game itself is interesting to me even though it takes a long time to complete many of the levels without the help of the tools.

For someone new to the game it might not be a deal breaker, but for me I am disappointed that the tools don't work.

The story line is pretty good, but the dialogue between the characters is, so far, not very interesting and a bit slow.

I plan to continue playing the game in hopes of the tools miraculously coming to life and me being able to use them. Show less

I was all on board with this game and ready to give it 4-Stars because they finally changed the Match 3 boards, changed the level layouts, and finally added some new features. I loved that some of the stone blocks had hidden red & gold tiles hidden under them and some didn't so you never knew which ones you had to go after and which ones didn't really matter. But then I got to level 7 and it l⊙⊙ks like I hit one of those stone blocks head-on when I discovered an oversite on the developers part. There were 3 different boards and the top-left board contained all 3 Jeweled Medals which must be dropped off the board in order to complete the level. The problem was that I ran out of available moves and there was no way to regenerate new tiles (I completed all other boards but no tiles moved on that board) the only way to finish the level was to use a "tool" and I hate being forced to use a tool!

You can only play in a Relaxed Untimed Mode in this Swap type Match 3 game, where you swap tiles to make matches of at least 3 identical elements. You must make matches over all of the Gold Cells (and eventually Red cells that turn Gold) and make the required number of matches of each Element shown to the right of the screen, and you must bring all Jeweled Medals to the bottom of the board by making matches under them. Elements inside of Bubbles, Morph (I think they appear when you make large matches, but I'm not positive) which allows you to pop the bubble when the desired element appears inside the bubble.

There are the usual Obstructions of Chained or Double Chained Tiles that require one or two matches of whichever element is chained, as well as stone or crates that require adjacent matches to destroy, and spiderwebs that require matches of whichever element is encased within the sticky web.

You must purchase all 4 Upgrades to progress to the next Chapter, with the Stars you earn playing the Match 3 levels. You can purchase Tools with the Jeweled Medals and Gold Tiles you uncovered and upgrade the Princesses Combat Armour as well.

Large Matches allow you to use any of the Power-ups once the Mana Meter recharges. The larger the match, the quicker the Mana Meter fills. Once the Mana meter fills, Tools become available once they have been purchased.

TOOLS:
*Hammer: destroys a single tile and/or chain.
*Bomb: destroys a 3 x 3 range of tiles cells/chains.
*The First Orcs Fang: clears 5 tiles horizontally.
*Mystic Daggar: clears 5 tiles vertically
*Orc Mace: destroys an entire horizontal line, cells/chains.
*Royal Sword: destroys an entire vertical line, cells/chains.
*Legendary Shield: destroys the entire horizontal & vertical line.
*Alchemy Sphere: destroys all of the same tiles.
*Stone of Wind: shuffles the board.
*Warriors Shield: destroys 20 random elements.
*Magic Bomb: destroys a large group of tiles and chains.
*King's Explosion: destroys a massive square of elements, cells/chains.

Some of us only play relaxed and some like a timer for a challenge. They can do it and have so why keep messing around ? Please Devs we need variety.

On level 7 I ran out of moves on the left board and it took some time before I could get more moves by using a bonus that gave more moves.

Next thing is another thing that changes which is annoying.
You can only have 3 bonus options on the panel at any one time whereas other games you get all the options. So you constantly have to keep changing the bonuses. Why keep altering that?

On the whole they have tried to make changes. The music has changed for the better. I do prefer games that give you bonuses with large matches,I feel it adds a bit more excitement to the game.

Can anyone tell me how do you get tools, the energy orb never fills all the way I can play for an hour on one level and never fill that orb no matter how many 4,5,or 6 matches I make. I would really love this game if I could get to the tools.

I don't recommend this game.

I enjoy this game, but it's frustrating when I get stuck with nothing to match and the game does not re-shuffle. It might provide suggestion as to the next move, but it does not recognize pieces that cannot move because they are covered with spider webs. So it just sits there and have to start over again, and again, and again.
They need to fix that!
