Based on demo: I've been hoping for a new mosaic series, and in my opinion, this second in a series counts as new. The colors are great, and there were actually white squares in the eyes, as opposed to light blue in many others. The saying is "don't shoot 'til you see the whites of their eyes." Whites, people, not blues. I know that sounds picky, but with the color ranges available now (infinity and beyond), I've become really irritated with the other mosaics. They've started to look like they were developed on an old Game Boy platform.

The game board is big enough to show details (20x20), but manageable enough to actually solve the puzzles without hints. I usually keep the music muted or at very low levels, so I can't really comment on it; the storyline has been more inferred than stated outright.

Pennmom has provided a lot of the details, so I won't. I have noticed her absence in the last month or so; glad to have her back in the thick of things.

I'm crossing my fingers that the rest of this little game will prove to be as satisfying as the demo. I doubt I'll be buying penguins or robots ever again. I've grown discouraged by the repetitive Time Management games, and it's hard to find Standard Games that are worth parting with my hard-earned Free Game Coupons. I do recommend this game. Show less

I've enjoyed more challenging nonograms, but this series is just simple fun. The pics aren't extravagant and are sometimes redundant, but I like that the fairy tale is told a little bit different. The colors were much more appealing as were the created images. I found the progression of difficulty to be very subtle, and there is a really nice selection of tile choices (including my favorite Lego style) I'm still not a fan of the Grimm Tales version ...Show more

I love it when developers listen to our comments in a review to implement changes and that seems to be the case with Fables Mosaic: Cinderella! The colors were much more appealing as were the created images. I found the progression of difficulty to be very subtle, and there is a really nice selection of tile choices (including my favorite Lego style) I'm still not a fan of the Grimm Tales version of fairy tales, so I was a tad bored with the tale itself and some of the colors were a little too close to each other shade wise which can cause you to make mistakes (it did me anyway, but overall, this game had noticeable visual improvements over the last few Fables Mosaic games.

As I said, there are 12 Tile Variations to choose from including my favorite Lego-style, and there's a Duplo lego style for the tiny tots lol. There are also 3 Crossed-off options which basically vary in the size and font of the X and the design of the crossed-off cell center (diamond-dot)

You can play in a Normal Mode which crosses off the cells one by one or an Advanced Mode which only crosses off the numbers when the entire row or column has been filled in correctly. There are 100 Mosaic Puzzles and you can earn up to 3-Stars per level with a maximum of 6 Mistakes allowed per puzzle, but stars are deducted when you make a mistake or use the available Hint feature.

The Magic Wand will correctly fill a cell of your choice and The Magic Mirror will correctly fill a 3x3 grid area without penalty. Both tools recharge by uncovering icons located under various cells.

I'm enjoying this particular Fables Mosaic much more, the directions are much easier to understand, the colors are more vibrant, and it seems to have a bit more challenge than the last versions, so well done, the slipper fits! If you're looking for an easy nonogram game, this is the one for you. I love the smooth game play, and the graphics are clear. But, most of the pictures are not only very simplistic, they don't have anything to do with Cinderella. I found that disappointing. You may not care. Not a lot of effort put in to the puzzles.

I'm not sure why the devs bothered putting the story of Cinderella into this game. Maybe half - at most - of the mosaic puzzles had anything to do with the fairy tale; there are puzzles of the godmother and the glass slippers and things like that, but there are also dollar signs and playing cards. For this game, it looks like they actually hired someone who could design mosaics. This one is a vast improvement over Red Riding Hood. Not the best mosaic game I've ever played, but not bad.

I love Mosaic games. This one is the most boring (and first boring) one yet. It's so easy that it is more like a coloring game. I regret buying this one.
