I found this game highly addictive. I couldn't put it down. I knew I had to finish it before I could sleep or eat or anything else. It's TOO addictive and bordered on crazy making at times. Not a relaxing game, at all. I must have played some levels six or seven times, but I never gave up. I found this game highly addictive. I couldn't put it down. I knew I had to finish it before I could sleep or eat or anything else. It's TOO addictive and bordered on crazy making at times. Not a relaxing game, at all. I must have played some levels six or seven times, but I never gave up. It is strict and challenging and shall not let you pass to the next level until you have completed the former level to its satisfaction.
When I first tried it, I didn't like it at all and quit after five minutes of playing. It has a different game play than some of the other cooking games and just takes some getting used to.
I went back to it after a month or so, gave it another go, and became hooked!
There are 12 levels in The Pancake House.
18 levels in The Burger Joint
24 levels in the Juice Bar. Show less

I reviewed the Collector's Edition and did not give good reviews. However, it is because you need to understand how to play this game and once you do, it is fun! You have to click on each customer to serve them, you don't need to click on them to order, you can't click near them or in their generation direction, on the actual customer. You have to click on each customer to serve them, you don't need to click on them to order, you can't click near them or in their generation direction, on the actual customer. Also, you can select only one item at a time, not two items quickly. With that said, it was fun and challenging but the game itself should have more levels to be really anything other than good. Perhaps the CE edition has more levels, not sure. Show less

I'm baffled by all the hate on these reviews and some of them I wonder if we played a different game! This is very similar to the original Diner Dash games where you earn money to buy upgrades that allow you to do things like... hold more than one dish at a time. If you never bought or earned an upgrade, I can understand why it might be a frustrating game but.... I found it a fun play for a few ...Show more

Despite the bad reviews, I actually enjoyed this game, not worth CE price, but worth normal game price, its fun and I achieved 3 stars on all levels, you may need to replay levels to get extra to buy upgrades but its worth it. Give it a go.

I've only recently come back to Big Fish games after a break. I thought this might be interesting like most diner dash type games. However, this one was too clunky to enjoy. You couldn't do tasks in a way where it would help you, such as picking up two items at a time (at least, it wasn't letting me), so you wasted a lot of time trying to make multiple items. Would upgrades have helped this? Maybe, but I only got to the third level before being annoyed at the gameplay, so I don't know if any upgrades would have helped. Then, the area where you serve the food; I was constantly clicking on the wrong person to deliver the food to, which was more time wasted. The character does go to the right person if you click them before they even get to the wrong person. It doesn't seem like you can stop an action. The delivery of new items was also kind of clunky; you order the item you need, then wait for it to be brought back, then you have to pay for it. Again, wasted time. This game is challenging, but not because there is actual challenge; it's challenging because it's not designed well. I definitely wouldn't buy it at the CE price, maybe if it was on a drastic sale or free, though. Show less

No difference between this and the over priced CE. No changes were made and it's still just a really dumb and not well executed cooking (not baking! Where's the baking?) game. Just cheaper. I figured they might have improved on packing the customers so tight you can't deliver items or the fact that she can only carry one item at a time but, nope. Don't waste a coupon on this!

I don't recommend this game.
