I LOVE THE ODD-SIZED GRIDS! (and it's not an easy-breezy game either)

I really like the Time Twins Mosaics and it sure beats those easy-breezy penguin-themed games that spew out a new game every month! I really like the Time Twins Mosaics and it sure beats those easy-breezy penguin-themed games that spew out a new game every month! I was thrilled that the grids were odd sizes, and it was kind of cool that after each mosaic, the pixels from the completed grid would float over to the main scene, which eventually constructs a complete Wintery scene!

These are logic-based mosaics with images that are easily recognizable, and because the grids are so oddly shaped, they tend to be more challenging. I wasn't blown away by the images this time, I thought they were just a little too generic (but not a deal-breaker) and I still think the Custom Cursor needs to be smaller and less clunky, but it's still leaps & bounds better than most mosaic games of late!

There are 14 different Avatars to choose from and there are 32 unique Achievements to earn, There are 4 different Tile Sets to choose from, one with beveled edges, a pyramid style, one with rounded edges, and one which is basically a flat, non-dimensional tile type. You can play in an Easy or Hard difficulty mode which either crosses off numbers immediately or when the entire row or column has been completed, and you can earn up to 3 Stars per level with 5 Mistakes allowed per level.

The Coins you uncover while solving the Mosaics is used to unlock the Bonus Puzzles, There are 9 Bonus Games available:

1-Memory-unlock with 1k coins
2-Advanced Collapse-unlock with 3k coins
3-Blocks and Balls-unlock with 5k coins
4-Trapping the Mouse-unlocks with 6k coins
5-Protector-unlocks with 7k coins
6-Find Marbles-unlocks with 8k coins
7-Logo-unlocks with 9k coins
8-Snowball Battle-unlocks with 10k coins
9-Split-unlocks with 11k coins

Don't let this game fool you!! It looks very easy but it is not and so easy to make mistakes. My goal at every level is not to get one single mistake. Alas, I do not do very well at every level. I like the bonus games also. So I would not let this pass you by. It is definitely challenging.

Annoying 'stop' sign

As someone wrote, the 5 square grid line if hard to see, but what 's really annoying is the red circle (almost like a stop sign) that appears in the top left corner every time you click on a square. Don't know how to turn it off. So I hope the developers will change that for their next addition to this series.

Mostly pros for this one. I liked the fact that you had a variety of shapes and sizes of mosaics, some with as many as 25 in the grid. The pictures were simplistic, but then they were incorporated, one at a time as you finished them, into a scene which made it kind of fun to finish each one. Easy play without the hazard some of these have that if you go slightly off your track they cause an error. ...Show more

The grids are small so my suggestion would be to allow the user to scroll to make the overall grids larger. Other suggestion would be for more interesting colors. Will think about buying this one on a sale Show less

This game has some interesting twists, so I don't want to be too harsh, but I won't be buying it. The varied grid sizes are fun, and the finished pictures are recognizable but seem static and without personality. Moving the finished puzzles to compose a bigger scene is a clever device. Too bad I won't see that finished bigger picture, though, as not having heavier grid lines to mark off the five square intervals soon made me very tired of having to spend so much time counting and counting and counting. . . . I have the same complaint about Time Twins that I have about Rainbow Mosaics--too often the colors are so alike that it's hard to know whether what is already on the grid is the same as what I'm currently working with. Unlike Rainbow Mosaics, the numbers are consistently easy to read, which is a definite plus. The thing that actually confirmed this as a "no buy" for me, however, was the rude gibe that appeared when I quit mid-demo. There is enough unpleasantness (to say the least of it) in this world; we don't need more in our leisure pastimes. The only way to know whether the interesting twists outweigh the frustrating quirks in this game for you is to try the demo, and I do recommend trying it if you like nonograms. Show less

this has terrible graphics. nothing compared to penguins. give me more fantasy mosaics.

I never got to finish the first level as I became disillusioned at the start of the first level due to the amateur graphics. Also, I was taken aback by the extremely rapid scrolling of the map page. And the silly comment about leaving the game was, well, it was a bit insulting. It may well get better as you progress, but this game was not for me at all from the start.

I don't recommend this game.
