May I first say that this game at first comes over as your usual standard Match 3 game, trust me , it's not.

For me this is the best Match 3 I have played for a very long time because it's different.
If you are expecting a flash game with the best graphics etc then this it is not but the challenge for me on this game is the main selling point.

For me this is the best Match 3 I have played for a very long time because it's different.
If you are expecting a flash game with the best graphics etc then this it is not but the challenge for me on this game is the main selling point.

There are all sorts of obstacles in the way and some are quite unique.

The main feature with this game is to get the cat to the fish but as you progress you need a lot of strategy in this game and you get to combat many different things which you will come across in the demo time to help you decide if this game is right for you but if you like a bit of difference and strategy in your Match 3 games then this is for you they even throw in the odd battle and a few mini games.
You can also replay all the levels including the mini games and yes there is a timed mode but for me at the moment there is enough challenge here in relaxed.

Try the demo and see what you think but for me I absolutely love it . Show less

Good thing Tim is on a mission! Otherwise we wouldn't have this cute Match 3 game. It isn't "knock your socks off" cool but it has enough challenge and fun to suit my needs. We don't get enough good M3s these days, this one is a fine little game.

Good thing Tim is on a mission! Otherwise we wouldn't have this cute Match 3 game. It isn't "knock your socks off" cool but it has enough challenge and fun to suit my needs. We don't get enough good M3s these days, this one is a fine little game.

There are hidden object games, plenty of obstacles, a few combats, helpful upgrades, Time Mode. The goal is to help Tim reach the fish. The task is challenging and fun, it tests our strategy skills which, for me, is an added bonus. As Tim travels to confront the witch and her curses we are provided with 90 levels that may turn into a longer game than we think.

It's colorful and has a cute story. It's a little bit different, doesn't become boring, runs glitch-free and gets my vote. The demo was fun, maybe you'll love helping Tim conquer the witch, too. I encourage you to give it a try for a little Match 3 fun to soothe a weary day. Show less

I must say, this game play was totally unexpected.

2. There are cannons that have to be loaded by making matches next to them. In the demo, this is a piece of cake, but I can see the difficulty will increase by stages.

3. Bombs are all over the place, but learn to use them wisely.

4. Obstacles abound. Some can be destroyed by the cannons. Others require a different strategy.

5. Though not a strategy game, a bit of forethought goes a long way. AND, unlike so many Match 3's, the cursor doesn't skew. You can plan a move without worrying that when you go to move a tile to the left, it doesn't skew to the right instead. Or up, or down, wasting the last 5 moves you made to get certain tiles lined up for a brilliant coup.

I know there's more, but darned if I can recall - my little grey cells call it a day at the stroke of 12. Show less

I know you can turn them off, but I don't know about the coins.
Along the way there is a storyline of Tim searching the dark woods for a lost little girl. There are animals in this forest that have been mutated by the evil witch. The graphics for the storyline are less than good.
I call this a train wreck because I had to keep playing to see what they would throw in next. You truly have to look at the board and think of what to do first. At first I tried to play with the timer and failed many times. I am now playing relaxed mode to learn the game. Next time, I will attempt to play with the timer.
Take the game as it is do not judge by all the bells and whistles of other games. Just try the demo and see if it draws you in. You truly get your money's worth for this game. Show less

I don't play a whole lot of M3 games (because I am not very good at them), but this one was recommended to me so I gave it a go ---- and what a delight!

It is a big departure from what you usually see in M3 games with great visuals, a great story, and new mechanics that are fun to play.

I don't buy a lot of M3s, but this one is a must buy.

I was at first a bit reluctant to even try this game but I'm so happy that I did give it a go. It is so different from the usual M3s, with all of the different elements incorporated into the game play. A very addictive and delightfully challenging game! Enjoy!

This game is really fun! It is colorful and challenging. You have to work your brain to pass each level. It is a hidden surprise for those who like Match 3 games which I do. Hope they come out with more games like this. Definitely a winner!

What a surprise and a new approach to a match 3 game. I love match 3 games and always looking for something NEW. This IS a very new approach for sure. I found myself playing for hours trying to beat some of the boards is impossible, or at least I couldn't find a way to beat them. Lots of fun, brilliant tiles and a multitude of new ideas about obstacles.

I recommend this game!

Some of these levels are head-scratchingly complex enough that I have to take a break before taking them on. Totally fun, though, and Tim's bare-bones story is just great. Leading him to eat fish and then decorating his hideout is fun. I got my roommate addicted to this game and she can't put it down either!
