When I read the first reviews, I was reluctant to get this game, BUT having played the games of this series previously, I made the decision to get the game AND I'M GLAD THAT I DID. First off, NO WORLD DOMINATION - YAAAY! NO INCREDIBLY UGLY CHARACTERS - YAAAY!

This game is just pure fun. The difficulty level is just right; I think I used the first hint in scene 4. The colors are bright and cheerful despite the drama, the puzzles are fun, it has morphies and collectibles, which I always enjoy, and altogether, I'm having a wonderful time playing the game.

The story line, while not original, is a good one with excellent replay value.

I've only played the demo and am waiting to see if BF will bundle the game tomorrow so I can pick up Shadowplay: Harrowstead Mystery as well, which came out a few days ago.

Go ahead, play the demo. I'm sure you'll enjoy it as much as I have. Show less

I never review games even though I have played hundreds but am putting my two cents in because I think this game deserves 5 stars. The graphics are great. The story line interesting and flows nicely. I loved the voice overs and the mix of modern with fantasy. Its long so good bang for your buck. Good Job Grandma Studios!

I'm giving this game five stars because I Love the game. It's beautiful and it's fun.

Your in Prague, Czech Republic. I think the accents of the voice actors are spot on. To start out you have to find six morphs. Their are 3 long chapters and a bonus chapter.

I'm giving this game five stars because I Love the game. It's beautiful and it's fun.

It has two collectibles per scene with one that is morphing. They aren't the stupid transparent ones.The game has four pop-up story book hops that are fun and pretty. The story kept me interested. The gameplay was great. Some hops scenes were reused but I didn't mind, they are pretty.

I liked the relaxing mini-games. I've always enjoyed matching, jigsaws, painting, in the right order, Simon said.

Mostly in cut scenes but I've pick up some that aren't, are dragonflies that you can buy storybook collectibles. They are in the main game and bonus chapter. Mostly there are two per scene I was shine four in the end and I could go back and pick them up.

If you picked up all your collectibles and morphs in the game you have a little extra fun hops/mini-game.

The bonus chapter starts at the house of horrors.

The only thing I found wrong is counting up the dragonflies in the guide and not coming up with the right number but it worked out since I could retrieve the ones I missed

Now my new favorite. I will play this game again! Show less

Just finished this game this morning bought last night and was worried. When I saw the first few bad ones but this is perfect although much shorter than the other games I enjoyed it the worlds were very beautiful and the fairytales intersting I can't wait for the next installment

I bought it the day it was released, before reading any reviews. So very much enjoyed playing the game. Then I read the reviews, I thought are you all playing the same game as me?

This one has a little bit of everything: mystery, magic, insanity, love, sadness... everything you would want from a good storyline. I played the demo and was hooked from the start. Had to have the full game! This one has a little bit of everything: mystery, magic, insanity, love, sadness... everything you would want from a good storyline. I really felt empathy for the "villain" as any mother would (even though I'm not a mother, unless you count my cat!). I was leery of the small number of chapters, but I assure you that this is a fairly long game. Even the bonus has a decent length. Beautiful graphics that aren't glaringly purple or pink. I loved the character accents! They set the tone of the entire game. Although I like Nathanel, he wasn't really even necessary to the story. Anyone who would have wandered into this scenario would have sufficed, but he's the star of the series and it's always fun to use his magic tattoo to battle evil. I did like the use of the YouTuber as a co-star in the game. Nice bit of modernization to the storyline. The collectibles were a little tricky to find, especially all the dragonflies. I believe you can go back (after you finish the bonus game) and find any that you might have missed. The HOPs were all different styles but there were repeat scenes. The puzzles were between easy and moderate in difficulty. The flow of the game was very good without too much back-and-forth movement or finding things like keys over and over again. Of course, there was the obligational lemon juice on rust and oil on zipper scenes, but at least there wasn't a newspaper until the door to catch a key routine. Overall, this is a wonderful game that should appeal to a variety of players, no matter what skill level. Think of it as a good book with lots of twists and turns. As always, please give the demo a try. I'm sure you will love it! Show less

I really enjoyed playing this game. To me the story line was good and the graphics were good. I enjoy these types of games. Its not all dark and gloom. Its more of a fantasy game which I enjoy more. Like the hogs and mini games. I have not purchased many games lately but I will buy this one.

If someone told me it was made by whoever makes the 'Christmas Stories' range of games (that I absolutely love) I would not be a bit surprised, because the game-play and the exquisite graphics both remind me of those games - and given how much I love those games, it's a real treat to get a game so similar in the middle ...Show more
