No cutsie pie stuff here! An adult 'thinking' match 3

In the previous offerings you used your acumen to restore cities that had been destroyed. In this one you will restore an underwater world. It is pre destined so you don't choose what is restored, but its a 3D and very pleasant, serene setting.

This game has the lot! There are achievements and also collectables (shells) that are found on the sea bed of the underwater scene (60) Seems like a lot, but in the main game, there are 108 levels to create the world. This is done by collecting hearts, gold, flowers etc from the game boards. Each one tells you what you are collecting. Some give fish, some plants , some buildings and sea dwellers (mermaids etc)

I am playing in a timed mode and at the end you are not given 'stars'..but you can check your progress by accessing the levels tab in the left hand corner of UWWorld. You can then replay..because that also gives you more of the resource (and a gold cup instead of silver) After you restore the world (main game) there are even EXTRA levels to play!

Each time you earn an achievement it shows up on the top right menu which also shows you how many shells you have collected. They are not marked on the levels though so not sure if you can miss them?

All in all this is an excellent value game with plenty of 'explosions' that do not have silly rockets and whistles going off, they are realistic, and the whole game has a really feel good element to it because you ARE in control of your gameplay and how the tiles fall (or explode)

If you are familiar with the series, its an old friend again, and if not try it, I think you will get hooked. Its a welcome relief from the cutie childlike graphics of many recent M3's of late. Don't miss this one! Show less

This series just gets better and better. Ok similar style to the previous but there is enough added to keep you happy, well me anyway. I know some are not fans of chain games but for me I love them just adds a bit more challenge. Awesome is too mild a word to describe Heroes of Hellas Origins!!!
This match 3 has it all!
I actually can't wait to finish whatever I am doing to get back to creating the new underwater world!!
This was a buy for me!

I own all of the Heroes of Hellas games and this one is fast getting to be my favorite. I love games with oceans which this is - all underwater. Follow same game play as the others but rather than accumulating money for just buildings you accumulate either coins, hearts or "life flowers" for corals, ocean plants, dolphins (with dolphin calls), colorful fish, an ocean dragon, and mermaid and after playing a level you look thru the scene for seashells (not easy to find). Occasionally have to find pieces of a trident or remove vines (definitely not easy - nearly went blind).

Only thing I don't like is the "trumpet toot" whenever you clear a tile with a feather or you find a heart, flower, whatever the goal is for that particular level - very annoying.

So if you want an enjoyable (to me) game with some challenge and lovely scenes without the usual doom, gloom and ugly faces which seem to be the usual offerings these days - enjoy! Show less

FINALLY! I've been waiting for a really good Match 3 game for almost 6 months. This is challenging without being impossible and the goals are different from the previous Hellas games which is nice. AND since the title says this is Part One, I'll be waiting for Part 2 to come out. Yay!

The game is a standard heroes of hellas, but the puzzles at the end are a real challange and make you think. Coutoes to the developers for the challanges. Thanks for the fun times.

Seems that the old magic is back with this one. It reminded me of the second HOH game, wich was the best of the series in my opinion.

This is a chain match three with a lot of challenging levels. There are plenty of "helpers" in the way of explosions. The underway views are very beautiful.
